Welcome, Friends! If you are new here, we are Daniel and LZ, and we travel full-time in our off-grid/off-road Cargo Trailer Conversion.
The more you travel, the higher the risk of getting a nail in your tire. Instead of wasting your time waiting for a tow truck (that may never come) and paying for an expensive repair, why not just fix it yourself?
Well, honestly, most of us are either too timid because we don't have the proper knowledge or confidence OR we rely too heavy on society to fix our problem. But if you have an RV, you may not be covered by your insurance for a tire repair or they might not even be able to send someone out to you!
On our way from California to Florida we got a nail in our cargo trailer tire in the last 100 miles to go! But, it was a simple fix and I had never plugged a tire before BECAUSE we had a tire plug kit.
In this video I show you how a first-timer plugs a tire. You can either watch the whole process in detail OR I've have broken it all down in a quick 30 second snippet at time mark 00:33 - 30 second "How To"
    Hope this helps,
    Daniel & LZ

They are 33’s if I recall correctly. If you need/want the exact numbers let me know and I’ll go look.

@@MichaelMutai so they are 32x11.50R15LT Mud Claw Extreme MT and when I ordered the spare I had to tell Discount Tire the number 113Q. I can’t find my paper work for the hub. I had to order that for the spare too to match the bolt pattern of the torsion axle but it’s an American Racing 6-bolt hub. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching and let me know if there are any topics you’d like a video on!
