FOR EVERYONE TRYING THE ALEXA HIDDEN WORDS: you need to configure your Alexa to specifically have The Sims Skill configured in order for it to work, and you have to clearly pronounce the words and Alexa will translate it for you and even play some Sims music if you say “Alexa, play music from Strangerville” :)

The sketchpad also allows you to queue up interactions, unlike the easel, where after one painting the Sim can't paint more (due to the complete painting being in the way). I always use the sketchpad if my Sim's a painter!
The one thing I hate about sketch pad is when sims used it they always place sketch pad on the floor or table near them. Like could you put it in the inventory?!!!??! Good gods
Yes! And they lose it sometimes smh
Mine literally loses theirs ALL the time. Literally buy a new one all the time for freelance 🤠
And a lot of the time mine will glitch out and they never finish :(
Or put it down floating. I have a sim that I have to repeatedly buy new ones and then find several when I move the camera around to a different angle.

I was going to say that I hate the personal speaker, but sims waking up with an affirmation or news is actually pretty cool.
Yeah because it won't change songs or volume automatically like normal speaker so its kinda annoying for me

Me too, I notice a lot of the objects all together do this, but the speaker is very notorious for a very long delay, wasting a lot of time, after you que up any interaction with it. I used the speaker for like a few game plays. And now just stay away from it.
The random dancing animations were gold.
You can get the beans also, mind you, if you have Seasons installed, from the scarecrow after you build up a high enough relationship. Then you can use the search pockets interaction and sometimes get the beans that way.

once i was playing with a mod that let sims have non-anyomus actions. my sim was a gardener, and have got the forbidden fruit. on ner wedding day, she ate the friut, then i had a plant sim for five days. she got married as a plant sim, and was pregnant as a plant sim. the day she gave birth she turned normal...

The only downside of sketchpad is probably that the paintings will worth less compared to easel ones.
I once got a painting worth 15k with easel and some others worth more than 10k(my sims have marketable trait)
with sketchpad I never got any painting worth anywhere close to 10k,
but of course sims paint faster with sketchpad, so sketchpad might still be more profitable than easel.
I think maybe sketch pad is more useful to build skill faster (due to queueing actions and upgrade options) and the easel is better for profits
You and Petey’s content is always very relaxing to watch. If you two ever get the chance, and you both agree to it, I think a proper collab would be nice.

I regularly use most of these objects, but I still learned a thing or two from this video. Many thanks to you, and everyone else, for uploading the festival items to the gallery. So sad they removed them from the game! I can't understand why there is still no tent in the base game, so it was lovely to be able to get one this way.
if your're using a type of cc that makes the bed mattress and bed frame seperate entities and use it for your child sims USE TWO NIGHT LIGHTS

@@stinkiiediitz the reason being that some bed frames cc still act like an actual bed cause some ccc forgot to remove that effect or didn't know how to

#10 The Junior Wizard Starter Set is absolutely needed in order to complete one of the kid's aspiration. If you have a kid, you ABSOLUTELY WANT it. Also, the health potion will fill any Sim's hunger, but will degrade the bladder need.
definitely making my paranormal investigator collect all the sugar skulls, they are so pretty, also love that the sim you used for that segment looked like one of the madrigal fam members ^^

The healthy green tea from the base game tea brewer can also cure a sim's illness instead of having to order medicine and you get a different 'cured' moodlet!

You can also get the plantsim beans with Patchy who comes with seasons, i you use the "look for seeds" or "ask for seeds" interaction, soemtimes he gives you a bean :)
i remember using junior wizard set and it started a fire (it was maybe in 2014 or 2015)
Yeah the first time I had my child sim use it they caught on fire and died

I find that making Lin Z smaller by one really fits well. its less large and looks better.
The wakeup routine *does* work - it's when the speaker wakes up (mute->unmute) not the sim.
I had no idea the LINZ Smart Speaker could do so much.
It sounds rather overpowered and I'm loving it.
Make sure you have a smoke alarm on the floor where you have that chemistry thing for kids since they tend to start fires.
The chemistry tables have one other useful purpose. If you have Seasons, it's one of the best ways to get a child the Young Scientist scouting badge.

Also if you click on the Junior Wizard Starter set while a kid is experimenting, options appear of adding different elements to it (e.g. add alcineat, add melacoo etc). I don’t know if it actually does anything, I haven’t tested it thoroughly myself
barely related but wouldn't it have been so cool if Realm of Magic came with a wooden, crystals-and-potions table named "Junior Scientist Starter Set"?

You can also find the magic beans from the scarecrow when you search for seeds or also from dust bunnies when you ask them to search for valuables

The digital deluxe version emotion hats are also pretty clever
Once you have explored the magic bean tree, it will close. You can explore it again at 10.00 sims time and you can find crystals, cow plant berries, elements etc. I personally love it!!

I found the LIN Z by accident when I used the sim ray I made when I was a scientist. I changed a candle into a lin z it was great
