Today I'm gonna be covering fifty easter eggs and secrets that you can find in the game!

Surely if Maxis wasn't catering to younger gamers, but rather young adults alone, they might even have a system similar. Wicked Whims is just a mod so adults can have their fun with the game without Maxis themselves having to make the game non-pg. Idk.. The Sims has some weirder things than unblurred showers and dick size options lmao

@@ban9693 I never said that you have yo be an adult to play it. I'm not an adult either and I use it. It, however, is aimed towards adults, and so is the Sims itself (atleast, it's aimed towards mid-teens to young-adults)
I don't think EA could possibly be disappointed since they always appreciate when people create mod and custom contents. They even encourage people to do so, it is a very creative platform, that's why I never understood this "sims is boring and for girls only" mentality surrounding the game
If you explore space, you might get a mission where you meet a short green guy in a swamp and do tasks for him. He also speeks with words in a messed yo position. Clear refference to yoda

I know some references from Moana in The Sims 4 Island Living:
1- This one is obvious, but in the public bathrooms you can find a picture of Moana and Maui (There's also two sims in Sulani that look a lot like they)
2- The green Heart of Sulani is an obvious reference to the Heart of Te Fiti
3- If the Mua Pel'am beach is clean and you use a boat there, you'll see some flowers coming from your boat, just like in the end of the movie
4- One of the towel's patterns look a lot like Te Ka
5- One of the pictures that your sim takes underwater look a lot like one of the posters of the movie

I already knew the labyrinth Easter egg, it was my first ever little message I got on the loading screen! “What power? Power of voodoo. Who do? You do. Do what?” After reading it, I knew I was gonna like the game and I had the song stuck in my head all day!
Also I found a rare Easter egg
- if it doesn’t work then it’s okay, I found it once and now I can’t get it to do it again
1. Purchase a stereo
2. Play pop music for 3 sim days straight, you can’t turn it off
3. You should here the song ‘say my name’ by destiny’s child, but in sim language!
Like I said it is very rare
There's also one song that I used to hear over and over on the pop channel, It's a simlish version of Money by That Poppy
Not really an Easter egg. Most songs in the sims are genuine songs that have been re-recorded in simlish. There has been some pretty big names that have covered their own songs in simlish

In the sims 4 Get Famous, One of the gigs that your sim can do which is a musical (Can't remember the name) Is a reference to the Plot of La La Land, The costumes of the main actors even feel and look the same and the style overall matches it.

Actually, that's a reference to *TWO* movies. *My Neighbor Totoro* and *Spirited Away* , since the two movies are both created from *Ghibli Studio* if that's what I remember.
Studio Ghibli is well-known for having interconnectivity like that between their movies--ESPECIALLY with My Neighbor Totoro and Spirited Away!

I don’t believe this was in the video, it might’ve been, but the 2nd (or 3rd) promotion in the office career is called assistant to the manager which is a reference to the office, which there’s the joke of how Dwight is always referred to as the assistant of the manager instead of the assistant manager
Another reference to the office, which there’s one of those question things, which reads “Alexander (my sim) reaches into his desk drawer to get his stapler. Only to discover that someone has encased it in jelly! Will Alexander retaliate with his own prank or ignore it and go find another stapler?” Which in the first episode, there’s a scene where Dwight reaches into his desk and finds that everything is in jello, courtesy of Jim.

1. There is an rack called We Will Rack You, This is a reference to the famous queen song We Will Rock You,
2. There is an featured item for children called moto moto, this is a reference to the internet meme called I Think Moto Moto Likes You
3. There is an audition gig called the urbz, this is a reference to another sims game called The Urbz: Sims In The City
It seems the urbz jig is in a better tone than what happens when your sim finds a copy of the urbz in the sims 2. They literally get mad and stomp on the copy of the game when they find it.

Did you know that in sims 3 every program on the TV is always sims 2 and in sims 4 it's always sims 3 so maybe in sims 5 it will be sims 4 !
Not every program, the exercise and weather channels from Sims 3 uses Sims 3 assets.

There is a gnome called "Don't Fear the Reagnomper" in the Sims 4 Base Game referencing to "Don't Fear the Reaper"👀👀
In Swedish the "Hello darkness, my old chum" achievement is called "Märk hur vår skugga" ("Notice how our shadow") which references a song by Carl Michael Bellman, in which Fredman and Movitz (two characters Bellman often mentioned in his songs) mourn and bury a female friend ("sister"). If you want to listen to the song you can find it on CZcams and Spotify, there are several versions of it, I recommend to listen to either the version by Imperiet or the version by Cornelis Vreeswijk.

If u look the the right option it says “Play MySims Racing” which in fact a real game that my Uncle got for me on his Wii (he originally just wanted My Sims but could only find a pack version with another game [My Sims Racing]) this game basically made me feel like I was playing MarioCart Wii with different characters, tracks and carts.
There were probably other differences but I haven’t played on my Uncle’s Wii in years
I also stumbled upon some references in The Sims 4:
1. Sims can make a funny conversation with "Jokes about Sunset Valley"
2. Also in Get To Work in Detective career, if you talk to chief sometimes they will mention about our sims comes from Sunset Valley.
3. In Vampire pack, one of the trait for the lot mentioning about upside down. That is perhaps referencing to "Stranger Things".
That's all the references that I can remember.

I really needed this video (yeah, I know that it's 2 years old). I've seen so much hate on TS4 recently, so this felt like a fresh breeze when I got to see all these fun little details, some of which I hadn't noticed myself. It really shows that the developers like this game, they don't just do it for the pay-check.
I hope you'll make another video with TS4 Easter eggs, because the SimGurus have gotten so much hate recently, especially on Twitter, and I want to see more positivity. How are the SimGurus going to cope in their home offices if people send them so many hateful comments? Yeah, we got a lot of bugs in the latest patch, that sucks, it really does, but it's not that odd now that the devs are working from home and a lot of things are different.
Btw, when being on The Bluffs (the small Windenburg island) you can sometimes see a seaplane flying in the distance, and sometimes it lands on the water.
Btw 2, did you know that toddlers can play with the harvestable plants and planter boxes?

Wow I didn't know most of these! One of my favorite references is that the strangerville is a reference to the rooster teeth series 'the strangerhood'. One of the books in that expansion pack is called "Why are we here?" And the description of the book is one of the ongoing jokes from rooster teeth's red vs blue
