Today I'm going to show you 10 features that you might not know in the newest Sims 4 expansion pack, Eco Livi- I mean, Eco Lifestyle.

Theres another channel called LGR who does sim reviews. He does mostly computer related videos though
Yep, tbh I don't really recommend setting this video as a standard for the overall features of the pack since I only show a handful of features I think many people don't know. Sims review from LGR for example really summarizes the features and its pros and cons so you can decide whether to get it or not. Despite that, I still want to thank you for the kind words if you think this video is helpful 😊

That last one's a game-changer; I always ignore phone calls cause they're never important and everything already takes too long. I'll actually be inclined to answer if the calls directly relate to your relationships

11: the fabricator constantly fails or breaks when being used
itsme_tabidiaz idk if u watch james turner but in his LP the fabricator only works like three times out of ten. my luck is just as bad, and according to others it's the same. the fail to success ratio is completely unbalanced and there's not even a way to upgrade the fabricator to unbreakable.
My fabricator never did/does this
@@mi1kguts if you want your fabricator work well, you should in a right mood. I guess when you are excited, it works without breaking. Try diffrerent moods for your sim.
And it's one of the only breakable objects that can't be upgraded to make it unbreakable.
Look up sims 4 all in one pack by thesimsarchitect. It's all the game and stuff packs for free, I've had it since vampires came out and update it whenever a new pack comes out. The only downside is that you can't use the gallery. But in exchange for not spending over $150 on virtual shit and contributing to EA's capitalistic nature, I say it's worth it.

When you do get enough money I suggest getting a bundle! It comes with a stuff pack, expansion pack, and game pack I believe 50-60 dollars. Still expensive but a lot less expensive than getting them all separately! ❤️

This isn't exactly my cup of tea in terms of expansion packs. I am sad, though, that the new phone calls aren't included in the main update. Those would add SO much flavor to the game, and so many homages to the originals.

Honestly one of my favorite features that came with the pack. Hope they decided to add some more of these at least to the base game one of my favorite things I enjoyed from the first two sim games is the random phone calls and chance cards.
Now i know why the table and the chairs looked so familiar.

I still haven’t experienced any of this, I’m excited to, I’ve been playing, there is a lot to do in this pack, I don’t understand how people say they finished everything, I think that’s bull unless you’re playing all day every day.

I don't have the pack yet but looks really complicated. It really adds gameplay and depth to the game. I like it a lot!
Jeez, this pack has so much gameplay to offer. You can see that they really put a lot of research into it. It's just sad that people aren't really that interested in "cleaning the environment" gameplay

5:18 That table is more similar to what can be found in The Sims 2 as it is a single grid table. I’m not sure, but that’s probably the same table that can be found in 1 and 2, the only difference being that The Sims table is 4x4 and The Sims 2 table is 1x1 and they have the same coloration options. What you said is true where it originally came from, but that table is more from The Sims 2.
Edit: Oops. I meant 2x2 on The Sims 1's table ':D ... 4x4, it would be a pretty huge table xD ...

Oh my god! When you drink the Beetlejuice twice you feel strange and unusual like Lydia, if you drink it three times you turn into a ghost, because in the netherworld everything happens in three's and omce you die it's show time!!! Im sure everyone got that references but i find it so cute!!

Did you know that you can turn servo into spellcaster and if you do the ägd up like normal sim. Try it out it's funny as hell.

Is it just me or is the Eco pack really depressing?
It is very different and it is somehow real. I would like more realism at some other points, e.g. that their characteristics really matter. Things that are more fun to do
I don't like, that they included the bills to the game, and without the Eco pack I cannot save money. Or I haven't found out how to do so 🤷🏼♀️

@Shiki * For a game it feels dark. But then you look out the window and you realize how many people need to come to reality any way they can!
Batuu is even more depressing.
I personally love it. I think the message of a community bonding and coming together to actually address an impending climate crisis is uplifting, and you get to see immediate rewards in the game. Plus it provides ongoing real challenge which this game sorely lacks. But I guess if one prefers a sunshine and rainbows only utopia game then this may not be for you.

Nice! I actually didn't know about most of these, and the ones I did know about, it was great to hear more about! I was wondering how someone actually died by flies in the game. . .and ooooh, yes, it's good to know more about the phone calls. I want to make sure I pick the right options for the right Sims when I get the pack. (Though you're right, it feels like they should have been a base game update.) Beetlejuice is actually a demon that you "summon" by standing around in a circle and saying, "beetlejuice, beetlejuice, beetlejuice."
I rememeber that me and my friends tried to summon him in school and we also tried to summon Satin.
My computer's been broken so I really appreciate learning about the new pack :)
This doesn't necessarily also apply to just Eco Lifestyle, but if an object is damaged (or needs to be replaced because it's been struck by lightning, set fire to, et al), a spellcaster sim can use the Repairio spell to restore it to full working condition without the need to pay half of what the furniture cost in the first place. I found this out with a solar panel after it got struck by lightning.
the water mist shower reminds me of the (ahem, infamous) shower scene in Dune. There is mention of such shower and cleaning facilites in the books, if memory serves. the idea is that you use less water by using it as a mist than as direct water from the jets. (the bathrooms likely are also moisture sealed, so you keep as much water as possable and claw back as much as possable too)
additional : apparently Sting still has those famous 'trunks' he wore in that shower scene ^^ they say his wife loves him in them. (cant say i blame her, he had a fantastic body back then. Lucky lady, be happy ^^)

I would say that most of these are well-known features of the pack. The only one most people wouldn’t know about is the Beetlejuice reference. Nice video all the same!
Thank you! Yeah I can see where you're coming from, especially with the meat wall and smog vacuum. But I always see many people online knowing there are meat walls in the game (for example), but have no idea on how to obtain them. That's why I included these "well-known" features so I can also explain ways to get them, which many people don't know imo.
