It was a blast dude. Summertime, and all these bands start rolling through town - you get up with your boys and girls, get lit up and go to the show. We'd have like half our high school class that we'd run into if we didn't caravan to the concert (Nashville Municipal Auditorium). It was a riot. Lights go down, energy is through the rough and everyone is in fifth gear party mode. No regrets!

These were the days when rockstars were GODS!! literally, i remember back in the days this home video was the SHIT! , seein the Crue tellin their story was the coolest, back when they were on their prime, daredevils party animal days, all this became part of the dirt, you can see Nikki and Tommy look kind of high or under some influence at times, Crue Heydays!! Living Legends! lived to tell the tale

I love how Nikki described Mick's guitar playing. Mick and Randy Rhoad's styles are what i like in a guitarist. Theatrics don't impress me.

80's was all about excess and rock n roll. For all of those that missed it, it was great times unlike today's stresses. You were taught you could be anything. You could wear anything. You could listen to everything. The nights seemed to last forever and the parties were lit for real lit. Always that flame thrower at the parties.

Ya, I was a young kid in the 1980's trying be a teen before a teen, but my sister would not have it. I was a more mature soul. Clips like these for us is a time travel.
I grew up listening to Motley Crue through my Sister's influence. I did not get my own CD's and radio until 1993.
Funny thing, I still have my Sister's rock magazines from 1980's.

The Crue embodied the true SPIRIT of rock / metal.

What was eye opening was when I read The Heroin Diaries, these guys legit didn't have any money, as was the case with most bands. On paper, they were rock stars and millionaires in the public eye, but these guys made less than some of the people attending their shows. The limos, the houses, the cars, all of it was essentially studio owned and any physical money they had was walking around money from the studio.
I read the 'Heroin Diaries'!!! It was a GREAT BOOK...!!!! 👓 👀 📖🔖📚📓 I absolutely LOVED 💗 the TRUE LIFE STORIES!!! About The Band and himself!!! What they ALL went through and dealt with. And faced...!!! Great Book!!! 📓 👍 👍 💗✌✌✌😊☺😉

It’s somewhat funny, I happen to see just 2 of your comments responding to someone else who basically states their love of Motley Crue - in a 4 part series that is wholly dedicated to this band. I’m not so interested in you to see if there are more of your comments than the two I’ve seen, but you seem to strongly dislike Motley by the responses you have given. So my question to you is this, why the hell are you even watching a video that is 100% about this band? If I had a to guess, I’d say you are just being a troll. My aunt's long time boyfriend at the time was in a local band and exposed me to lots of music that l learned to love as a preteen/teenager - beginning around age 12. I became a lil metal head early on.

I was born in 95 and my mom started me off when I was 2, we have home videos of me dancing in my diaper to mötley, Ac/dc, aerosmith, etc. I’m so thankful to have awesome parents!

Yup Mick is what made their music special. But they all have their part, Vince's voice played a big part in it, Tommy's drumming, Tommy Lee is a AMAZING Drummer! And can't forget Nikki, Nikki started it all. They all are unique in their own ways, and will always be different than any other band!

Very Motleyish Cruish Atmospheric Ciy Los Angeles! They took What was around them, acquainted with it, and reinforced it into their Art of Sleaze Rock! One of the best Rock Journalists ever with the Velvet Underground in their City, New York. Many LA bands copied. Other bands influenced this band, but they are themselves naturally.

After listening to Kickstart My Heart, CZcams has some suggestions and it leads me here. Yeah, as you guys said, The Dirt lacked a lot of things around the band, they portrayed Mick as a quiet guy but actually he is more than this. The director focused too much on the duo "Terror Twins", not much on Mick and Vince. Such a pity. Only 2 dramas in Vince's life: the lost of Razzle and his daughter, not anymore.
