I lost everything do having my wife Krystal pass away.. I suddenly realized that , I could do better.. I'm happy to say I've been clean, Two years around about.. Congratulations it isn't easy but sometimes we have to ignore the naysayers and no deep down inside the fight that we made to get clean is we're staying clean and our loved ones were always there for us and supporting that it just we had to be ready on her own hold your head up homie peace and love amen...
Nikki was very honest about his experiences here. The one thing he didn't say is once you've had sobriety from drugs, alcohol it's not the same if you go back to it. I've had people who go through the same thing tell me that. That first time you experience sobriety you can't indo the experience.

They were literally alcoholics. At the peak of Tommy’s alcoholism, he drank gallons of vodka everyday. He probably only drinks on special occasions like holidays. Alcohol almost killed them.. and Vince killed someone drunk.
I think at this point, they are all clean, and sober. 👍👍 Correct ? When someone is born with a healthy body, that needs to be well taken care of ! For some with SUD's, all of the issues, need to be addressed, with remove and replace ! Remove the addictions by focusing on the core of the individual, and replace with pro-social hobbies, contacts, and events/activities. In addition, there should be a focus on learning to say "NO", to substances, when in the presence of others, who may engage in behavior that may only cause relapse. ❤️

I find it hard to believe that Vince doesn't drink regularly. He lives in a mansion in Vegas and has that drunken tan look like he sits by the pool all day and has about 8 or 10 beers and 5 Margarita's. Tommy drinks a lot of Vodka too. He said during the pandemic he was drinking a lot out of boredom.I think with these guys it's like an all or nothing type thing. They are either drinking and/or doing drugs almost daily or completely sober. I think Nikki has been mostly sober for a long time...and maybe falls off the wagon here and there. Mick never had a big problem with booze and drugs from what I understand. I wish more rock stars would just party in moderation. These guys go all in when young..then clean up and then get boring pretty quick. The typical behind the music story. The music quality tails off.

I hate to say this but to everyone saying you can’t believe they’re alive…technically not true….Vince got drunk and got in a bad car accident that got his passenger killed. So none of them died but their actions did bring death and destruction
I drank till my pancreas said no more . Then again I started drinking to get drunk at 14 , chugged my 1st beer at 13 , got drunk at 12 with my dad . And had my 1st sip of beer at 10.
You know your ok when you can sit in a quiet bar drinking soda or purchase alcohol at Christmas for others and it doesn't bother you. When you realize you are done you never want too go back too the lies...embarrassment...and the shear waste of time. If you are struggling remember that you matter and you are not alone. Coming out the other side is the best high you will ever have.
I’m sober for almost six years and have sat at the bar area to eat at a restaurant. You just don’t drink. It’s not hard after a few years. Now this is only when other seating is unavailable
@@briankorth6763 I cannot be around heavy drinkers...bars make me nervous now...I don't like buying alcohol but like having it available at home for friends and family around holidays. I haven't had a drink for almost half a year and am thankful I was able too change my life. I never realized how great it is being sober and I never want too go back. If I do I wont make it out alive.

@@briankorth6763 Thanks Brian...very kind of you. Its going good for me and I hope for you as well. I did not go through AA or anything like it...just cold turkey when the light came on for me. I watched a guy at work go down the tubes with booze and it was very ugly. We tried too help him but many of us were heavy drinkers...old school Paramedics. He killed himself at home...he sliced his brachial arteries open and then called 911...two of my friends were dispatched too his address but he bled out. It was a disturbing event for all of us particularly for those who tried too revive him. That was five years ago but still stings a bit. I hope others who are struggling can see what a difference sobriety can have on life. I do not talk about it much but will if somebody needs help. Damn cold here this AM...later...Pete

They were literally alcoholics. At the peak of Tommy’s alcoholism, he drank gallons of vodka everyday. He probably only drinks on special occasions like holidays. Alcohol almost killed them.. and Vince killed someone drunk.

I think at this point, they are all clean, and sober. 👍👍 Correct ? When someone is born with a healthy body, that needs to be well taken care of ! For some with SUD's, all of the issues, need to be addressed, with remove and replace ! Remove the addictions by focusing on the core of the individual, and replace with pro-social hobbies, contacts, and events/activities. In addition, there should be a focus on learning to say "NO", to substances, when in the presence of others, who may engage in behavior that may only cause relapse.

I find it hard to believe that Vince doesn't drink regularly. He lives in a mansion in Vegas and has that drunken tan look like he sits by the pool all day and has about 8 or 10 beers and 5 Margarita's.
Tommy drinks a lot of Vodka too. He said during the pandemic he was drinking a lot out of boredom.I think with these guys it's like an all or nothing type thing. They are either drinking and/or doing drugs almost daily or completely sober. I think Nikki has been mostly sober for a long time...and maybe falls off the wagon here and there. Mick never had a big problem with booze and drugs from what I understand.
I wish more rock stars would just party in moderation. These guys go all in when young..then clean up and then get boring pretty quick. The typical behind the music story. The music quality tails off.

I hate to say this but to everyone saying you can’t believe they’re alive…technically not true….Vince got drunk and got in a bad car accident that got his passenger killed. So none of them died but their actions did bring death and destruction

I drank till my pancreas said no more . Then again I started drinking to get drunk at 14 , chugged my 1st beer at 13 , got drunk at 12 with my dad . And had my 1st sip of beer at 10.

You know your ok when you can sit in a quiet bar drinking soda or purchase alcohol at Christmas for others and it doesn't bother you. When you realize you are done you never want too go back too the lies...embarrassment...and the shear waste of time. If you are struggling remember that you matter and you are not alone. Coming out the other side is the best high you will ever have.
I’m sober for almost six years and have sat at the bar area to eat at a restaurant. You just don’t drink. It’s not hard after a few years. Now this is only when other seating is unavailable
@@briankorth6763 I cannot be around heavy drinkers...bars make me nervous now...I don't like buying alcohol but like having it available at home for friends and family around holidays. I haven't had a drink for almost half a year and am thankful I was able too change my life. I never realized how great it is being sober and I never want too go back. If I do I wont make it out alive.

@@briankorth6763 Thanks Brian...very kind of you. Its going good for me and I hope for you as well. I did not go through AA or anything like it...just cold turkey when the light came on for me. I watched a guy at work go down the tubes with booze and it was very ugly. We tried too help him but many of us were heavy drinkers...old school Paramedics. He killed himself at home...he sliced his brachial arteries open and then called 911...two of my friends were dispatched too his address but he bled out. It was a disturbing event for all of us particularly for those who tried too revive him. That was five years ago but still stings a bit. I hope others who are struggling can see what a difference sobriety can have on life. I do not talk about it much but will if somebody needs help. Damn cold here this AM...later...Pete

Mick Mars never touched a drug but did drink and smokes cigarettes. He is like 10 years older than the rest of the band members. Fixing to turn 70.
