Hey Jamie, thank you so much for being such a great and authentic interviewer, I love the fact that you let Dom talk but also related to him and created a safe space where it felt acceptable to talk about everything from self loathing, insomnia to being a cheeky lad almost giving his 65 yr old Math teacher a heart attack. This really was great company! You've got yourself a new subscriber.
Dom, I love you sooo fookin much mate, met you about 3 or 4 years ago (When you did the NYC surprise concert at Washington Square not too far from NYU), you had a surprise concert for those that couldn't afford it, then gave away free ticket. I was able to see you reaallly close (like up your nose kinda close since I am short and you're bloody tall mate) Then went to your night concert after making new friends at your surprised concert, having been worried that a weirdo like me was not gonna be accepted but the Black Hearts completely accepted me with open arms. Fast Forward to TX last year, I was able to go to another one of your concerts and give you a bracelet I made after the community help me get to the front and I called out to you "OI DOM, I'VE BEEN TRYING TO GIVE YOU THIS PRESENT FOR A YEAR NOW!!!!!" That was one of the most memorable days of my life, feeling accepted by you and everyone around us.
I've always struggled with self loathing and feeling like I am too much or not enough,I've been insomniac since I was like 5 or 6 yrs old, struggle every day with my relationship with food and feeling like I have to be a certain weight, past abuse from people that I thought I could trust and always feeling like I am some weirdo walking around in society but unable to connect with others. You are fookin beautiful in and out, Dom and don't you ever forget it, mate. You've created such a massive movement. Thank you for existing.

This is truly one of my favorite Yungblud interviews. He can speak openly, is not interrupted, is listened to and you can tell from the questions that people have really looked into his person and his story beforehand. Interviews like this are really nice to see. He's such a great person, live on stage but also in quieter interviews like this one. 🖤🖤🖤
I can relate to the sleeping, my head won’t shut off. I listen to something in the background like Chilling Tales for Dark Nights and sometimes it helps to quiet my head
I’m so glad he opened up about his eating habits. It’s not easy at all, I was in denial for a long time and still have told anyone but it makes me feel ok because even my favourite artist goes through things like this so if he can deal with it I can too. I always thought Dom looked great in nearly every outfit I’ve seen him in so maybe people see me that way, it’s just a personal thing where you feel weird about your body and I think it can go away with time and effort.

As someone who is dealing with trauma recovery and eating disorders, I want to thank both Dom and the interviewer for touching on this subject. I know for myself that my hatred of my body stems from the abuse I endured and that has manifested into disordered eating. Iˋm working on recovery and I wish all who are also on similar journeys much love and strength. It wasnˋt your fault. You are safe now and you are loved. 🖤
I just got to know him through the Kaiju No 8 opening Abyss (which I love) and turns out he's coming to Budapest soon. This interview made me actually want to go to the show. This boy is so pure and so full of light and delight.
I liked Dom before I liked his music...I didn't "get it" before, but his authenticity just draws me in more and more. I would love the chance to just sit and talk with him, he seems like an incredible person and I love what he does to help people realize we aren't as alone as it feels like.

Such insight... seeing the younger folk discovering exploring accepting and facing self personal growth ect earlier in life is remarkable.
At 49 I'm both envious and saddened, saddened that I hear and see all the things I was isolated in thinking feeling experiencing, and that the roots of these weeds have grown so thick,have twisted and wound themselves so tight it's hard to breath.

My new fav interview. Everytime i watch an interview or see an edit i fall in love with him because he is so genuine and raw and is stating his opinions and being himself and he is not one of those celebrities who tries to be attention seeking and abuses their experiences for attention. For example when he was talking about being SA'd at seven. He was like yeah it happened and it shouldn't happen to anyone and its in the past now fook yeah. Anyways i love ya Dom and i wish i could make it to bludfest but life hates me and being 14 and living in the usa i dont see that happening anytime soon😢. (Abandonment is my biggest fear too. Yay now we're besties) I hope bludfest is mental and i just realized it going to be 6 days after your b-day. Anyways please come to the upper peninsula of michigan bc these small-minded small town people need an awakening.

I totally love this, love his stories and fully resonate, I made my business persona because I came from a DV relationship and had no confidence at all, Ruby was not brave enough to speak in a room of 5 people, but Dotty Delightful spoke in from of 200 people, Yungblud is the first person I have ever heard of explaining this. I also have ADHD, I’m 47 and only found out last year, I am so grateful for him and the gift he is giving the world.
I had just started listening to YUNGBLUD like three months ago and ever cents I have felt powerful I have been more kind to myself I have not felt bad for being me and I just want to thank Youngblud for that because he really inspired me to you know just get out of bed and give myself a break from negative things

The reason I follow Yungblud is for the realism, their so called feeling as if they don't fit in, but we all feel that way. I enjoy the uniqueness in his realism. I love it. Everyone who has been a fan, is there for the long haul. The ones that come and go needed them for a specific time, event they were going through. But those who connect with everything. Is there. This is such a great interview! You guys vibe so well together. I'm a teacher in Canada and I've heard his story about mooning a teacher before. I would probably have laughed and then told him I don't want to see a kids arse lol. But, the British school system is a bit more strict. I can't go to Bludfest this year but if its on next year, I would totally travel to England for it. Sounds like a blast and Dom is such a lovely human and the community he's created is awesome.
