Cool. Its always nice to watch your videos for writing advice and it feels good to know that you're publishing books. It makes me think that maybe someday, I can too.
Congratulations Jed! So stoked for you man, you've been a huge inspiration in my own work. In the near future I'd love to sign up for your author mentorship program and get some real critical feedback through my first book endeavor. Love seeing how you're making the dream into reality! Keep it up, I look forward to reading your book.
Congratulations! Realy Happy for you Jed! Im just starting to get my head around about how to release my Dungeons and Dragons Campaign. It is realy overwhelming when you write down all the things you have to do... but i will not give up!
You are a massive inspiration to me, and seeing this spurs me on in writing my own novel, and see it completed, which I hope to publish late next year Congratulations with everything you have achieved
I've always loved dragon (+ rider) stories, so it feels like a massive coincidence that this is happening now, just a couple of weeks after I stumbled across this channel. I've been waiting for the next big dragon focused story, so I really hope this is what I've been looking for. I can't wait to read it!
Can't wait to get a copy, great videos. Well spoken, so I imagine your books are well written. Gonna buy "Across the Broken Stars" when I get paid from ebay next month.
Don't know if you'll see this comment, but you should check out the book Returner's Wealth, from Paul Stewart and Chris Riddell; part of the Wyrmeweald trilogy. It's amazing how much overlap it has with the ideas you discuss on this channel - in the first few chapters we get dragon riders, free-climbing, crazy landscapes, a lot of focus on all five senses, and scenes filtered through character's emotional experiences of the environment. It seems right up your alley.
Gratz mate! Recently discovered you and your videos and they've been very useful. Unrelated question but how can best learn/improve my grammar and formatting of my writing? I often find myself questioning when i should use semi-colans, commas and em dashes or simply when to finish a sentence. I'm not totally useless at it but with only myself to look at my writing I'm sure I have some bad or wrong habits in how to layout my ideas on a page.
Saw the Kickstarter mentioned on Petrik Leo’s channel. I’m a sucker for Dragonrider fantasy. Read Dragonriders of Pern first 3 books the summer I turned 12 and have been hooked ever since. The premise and artwork look fantastic. Looking forward to reading it.
I'm glad to see you making it as an author Jed. I was wondering are there any plans to make Kingdom of dragons and audiobook? I would love to read it but with my vision reading print books is difficult.
Very happy for you, Jed. You deserve it. I'm really curious as to what the secret stretch goals was going to be. In case it is not reached by the end of the campaign could you tell us what it was?
I wish I could afford to help with your publication of the book but I'm on a fixed income and can't even spare enough to buy a copy when it comes out. See I live in an ALF and almost all my income goes to the ALF leaving me no real discretionary funds. PS. The ALF does have a small library maintained by one of our residence which is for the most part our only source for hard copy books.
You will get your copy. Kickstarter just has to put that disclaimer there because sometimes people use it to fund products that haven't even been designed yet - it's a bit different with something like a book, which is already written and has a simple production process behind it. Thanks for backing!
Congratulations Jed! Can’t wait to get my copy!
Thanks Andrew! Can't wait to see what you think :)

Thanks!
I’m one of the backers. Always love dragons and dragon riders! I can’t wait to have my copy!
Thank you! Hope you enjoy the story :)

Yep, we're doing an audiobook as well!

Imagine if you made your books into animated series/movies. That would be awesome XD
Would love to do this one day
I would pay to see it lol

No worries at all - you might be able to request the library to get the book in once it becomes more widely available :)
On kickstarter it makes it very clear that there is a chance you won’t get your book. Will I get my copy?
Also I just wanted to thank you because you have really helped me start writing.
Also also Congrats Mr. Jed!

All right thank you! So excited for my copy! @@Jed_Herne
Barely 400 people are gonna read the book, what are you on about?
