    I had never thought to put the moss over the soil as a top dress. I had some laying around and that just elevated it to the next level. Thank you! Can’t wait to see the blooms, it’s something nice to look forward to during the winter!

      The alternate tier method i like to do that on the second batch that I plant up! I love that method! I usually will do that method in a squared or round container!! Thank you for watching 💕

    You get snow where you live? I just bought some tulip, hyacinth and crokus bulbs that i am planning to plant in some blue and white talavera pots that i brought from México, i wish i could plant them in my front yard but where i live deers, squarrels and chipmunks are all over! So the thing is that i will put them in a screened porch i have, so they will get the cold winter rest they need and when they start growing on late winter-spring i could move them to my front door. Is it a good idea to leave the pots in the porch? It really gets cold here and some snow as far as i know!

      @GardenQueen  Před 3 lety +1

      Hey, I am in zone 6b we get snow and ice! I will keep my amaryllis inside When I plant containers in the inside plant them up but then I keep them in my garage! I think that is going to look really nice by your front doors!! Not knowing what zone you are in I would say I would bring them in! Because in containers it puts you in two zones lower that you are currently growing in!

    We're did you find a moss container and what size is it? Can the moss container survive outside in any kind of weather and do you always have to line it with plastic?

    • @GardenQueen
      @GardenQueen  Před 3 lety +1

      Tyrena, Thank you for watching! I found the container in Arkansas! You could use it in the in any weather! I would always line the container to keep moisture in for the plants! Because the moss is a preserved container I would try to keep the moss dry and in a shaded area to preserve the color.. The container is definitely reusable💕
