I just love old Jungle Movies :)
These were the movies we were introduced to as kids - summer afternoons one day a week put on by public school and shown in either auditorium or cafeteria...Moms' carpooled the neighborhood gang for 3 hours black & white movies - they got a break from (us) little monsters for one afternoon. We yelled at the bad guys, cheered the good guys and made kissing noises when heroine met beau - throwing popcorn and candy at our friends (or enemies) until everyone settled down in a sugar induced daze for the second movie. Most were like this, some 1950's sci-fi, and some just goofy Jerry Lewis & Dean Martin or Abbot & Costello comedies. Great memories...there doesn't seem to be equivalent for kids nowadays. Dinnertime, Mom usually mad we didn't have an appetite - clearly, too many JuJu Bee's / Licorice ropes / Sugar Babies, mixed with popcorn and soda :)
Yea those where the good old days wasn't to sure of that at the time but as I look back they seem good 👍👏👏🐴🐴
Good old movie, I think I saw when I was a kid. Thanks for sharing
In 1950, (16 years after this picture came out), my parents took my brother, sister and me to the Clyde Beatty circus when it came to town. For a six year old kid, it was VERY exciting. Traveling Circuses, “Lion Taming”, square rigged commercial sailing ships, and dirigibles were still part of everyday life in 1936; things certainly have changed since then. That was a fine looking Ford Roadster Clyde was driving. The “suicide” doors were neat.
Sounds awesome
Different, thank you!!!
This is the short version of the 4 hours Serial The Lost Jungle, with more thrilling scenes. I've seen the Serial and it was awesome
Leave the frickin animals ALONE!!
It makes the movie unwatchable 😞
@@johnnyssik I would agree if this was not filmed 100 years ago. We did not have the same unmderstanding back then. You Still enable this entertainment by watching Hollywood movies. Some of your favrite stars treat people even worse. You are so noble, right?
It was almost 100 years ago. Those people are all long dead. Things have changed. Get over it.
@@paulmerritt8593 things HAVEN'T changed, as a matter of fact it has become exponentially worse.
Don’t be a pussy!
I thought I saw a baby Mickey Rooney. Lol
Minutes 30:38 "Is the javan tiger"
Berarti ini bener yaa harja banyak yang didistribusikan ke London untuk sirkus?
What a brave guy n SUPER brave guy be able to control tiger is LIKE magician, WOW!

In real life he has an animal trainer one of the best.@@helenm2169
How do you lose a jungle
thanks Pizza.
love these "over-produced" B-movies ;-)))
this beasts trainer is a fucking legend, never heard of him.
now I'm gonna look for his other movies.
my mistake. I've seen this guy before, in the video Tiger vs Lion, Big Cage Fight from 1933, uncut Version. been over a year since I watched this video, so I completely forgot about it.
Abbot and Costello did at least one film with Mr Beatty Good fun that crew.
Harimau Jawa 🐯
very sad when I saw the Javanese tiger being used as material for a circus performance
With all the poachers and shrinking animal habitat zoo's, circus, and wild life sanctuaries may be the last place we find them.
Kid with dog in opening scene - Micky Rooney - I think.
interesting side note... google ed sullivan clyde beatty and be surprised, wow...!
I found a popsicle stick in a deserted island once.
Is that a Javan tiger?
Yes
mICKEY rOONEY IS IN THIS MOVIE. THE FIRST KID THAT SPOKE TO BEATTY!
I can't believe you guys never noticed Bob Hope! Hes the one the girl is attending to when they first get on the Island...
I know how to survive in jungle.
wow i hope no animals were not hurt during the making of this film man thinking he is stronger than a lion er i dont think so poor animals kept in cages wouldnt happen today or does it watched ten minutes cant watch anymore only saying
C
Absolutely astounding animal training. It was almost 100 years ago and we know better today so don't get on a high horse about cruelty. We're more cruel to human beings today.
Who is we? it's not me!
1:07:53 love those gorgeous '30s gals
When this movie was made none of the species was endangered.
ETORSCK
Is everyone here on heroin? No? Yes.
It just began, can not watch it. I hope the Tiger eats him!
