- Aerosoft Toolbar Pushback Pro is an overhauled version of the popular Toolbar Pushback freeware you may be familiar with, including re-recorded, dynamically changing voiceover, enhanced automatic mode, Xbox and VR support and more. The freeware version will still be available and receive maintenance updates, of course.
In this early access first look video, we will examine the features of Toolbar Pushback pro and perform a pushback to test out the addon.

Really looking forward to this. I used the freeware one some time ago and the simplicity of it makes it essential for my needs. GSX is great but I think this option just makes things easier. Great overview mate, thanks for the video!
Thanks for stopping by mate, yes, I do like this a lot, it needs refinments, but overall does the job, and does it right.
To be a PRO and have to buy it, I feel this lack of accessories. Option to be able to change the tug truck that is not always the same and 2 wing man etc . implement other addons.

I'll be keeping the free one, hardly anything here to justify a cost. I guess this is nice for console users.
And is VR compatible.
And probably doesn’t have the same memory leak issue.
Given GSX has a push back, this is going to have to be nearly free to justify it
@@gregabott5583 GSX is 30$ and it’s harder to get it working toolbar pushback pro is 8$ and easy to get it working so it’s definitely gonna sell
My biggest gripe with this add-on is that the dev just up and disappeared without any form of communication for a long time. that's okay for freeware, but not for payware. And decided to partner with Aerosoft, who themselves aren't the best when it comes to product support after release.

Better Pushback is the inspiration for sure =)
For the longest time, gsx kept complaining due to MSfS SDK limitations, that the visual planned view cannot be implemented, use keyboard to position the aircraft....no more excuses! great stuff! looking forward to seaplane handling!
I was thirlled to see how better pushback for X-Plane has inspired this development. Works really well.
Yes, but GSX is constantly being updated, and this with the support of MSFS. (They in turn build their SDK more and more). AS will drop this tool and then after some months, discontinue it.

Thanks for the heads up video. I used to use the free version all the time, but stopped when starting to fly in VR as the software didn't work very well at all. The big question is do you stop using GSX pro and replace with this?????
If you don't need the GSX features, yes you can use this addon.
As GSX is not available on Xbox, I'm looking forward to this tool. I hope it will work well with an Xbox controller, too, the interface looks simple enough.

I’m hoping they allow for multiple jetways to be connected to the aircraft like in real life. This would be good for the new wide body aircrafts that are coming out. Interfaces like the aerosoft one would make it very simple
Hopefully the catering/baggage carts will stay until dismissed manually, none of that 30 seconds bullcrap. Doesn't seem to be the case in the video though but it's pre-release so we'll see....
You can set this up manually from the settings as shown in the video.

Yeeeeees. I been hoping for something to come along just for my pushback needs. GSX is and has been for a long time so clunky and right now there seems to be an issue that makes GSX vehicles and pushback have this weird stutter effect. There’s a thread in the GSX forum about this issue and as usual Umberto just says “Not a GSX issue”. Looking forward to this
The free version hasn’t been updated in 2 years. And doesn’t work with fbw a32nx. Hopefully that is fixed.
I use the freeware version regularly with the FBW airbus (developer version) and never experienced any issues.

I tried fenix, pmdg, default aircraft they seem to work fine.
Is it possible to change the truck model for pushback?
No I don't think so. I am sure the community would create additional liveries once a paint kit is available.
It will come down to pricing…but nice video and good show of the product

Free versions always worked with the FBW, I've always used the toolbar. it only causes issues if you use the tablet version as well.
I don't get the audio when using it with the fbw. I have the tablet pushback stuff all turned off and the audio enabled in toolbar pushback.@@flyguy2490
What’s the difference to the free version?
This version is Xbox, and VR compatible. It has ground services, and new voice set.
@@Q8Pilotfree version had ground services and door opening as well. Could also preplan the pushback route ala BP.

For PC people, this is useless. Free is literally exact same. Paying people for some audio they prob stole from online or got from someone isn't worth "money".
Also, the Pro version will offer (among other things) forward towing, product support (I know some people will take that with a pinch of salt!), regular updates (compared to the limited updates for the freeware version). Also, planned future features such as connectivity with Aerosoft VDGS, compatibility with sea planes, etc will only be available in the Pro version.

Very strange, in real life the aircraft's door will be opened only when the jetty is fully connected and the handling agent knocks the door...
My choice will be keeping GSX, offer much more.
If you have GSX then yes keep it, but this is an alternative that does not cost as much!
GSX is ass when it comes to performance. Don’t believe me? Just unlink GSX and try the default pushback and you will see how smooth the pushback is compared to the stutter mess that GSX is. There’s a whole thread about this issue in the GSX forum and all the developer can say is “Not GSX Problem” and just blames MSFS or Windows for the issue.

A fool and his money are soon parted is who this appeals to and Aerosoft knows it. If someone has the free pushback version and doesn't want to spend money, just keep it or get more in depth with GSX which is way over and above just pushback.
This version has been created in cooperation with the original developer. The freeware will remain available for those who don't need the extra features.
No voice command? No party.
Man I don't understand how Xplane's pushback system is still 100 x what MSFS has to offer. I don't want to go through 100 menu's to bloody push the plane......

You can simply plan the pushback, connect the tug and you are good to go. I was just trying to show all the features.
Xplane is dead dude. The only people that think otherwise are just plain ole in denial.
@@MustafaGT You are factually wrong. Going to steam charts, 700 people are actively playing xplane 11, and around 650 are playing xplane 12. That is around 1,450 playing, on a weekday too, so i would say 300 more for each sim on a weekend. Let's compare that to an actual dead game, post scriptum, which has about 70 playing on average per week. That is a dead game
Nothing new here. Looks like something FSX. In my opinion GSx blows this out of the water.
