What a great mini haul! Loved the bunny and the fall wreath. The little bench is lovely! Have a wonderful weekend. 🤗
Thank you so much!
Rachel, that stool turned out adorable. Loved the layers of paint look. I am glad you left the blue peeking through. It now has the appearance of a well-loved piece of furniture. Even though you had a tiny haul I think you got some bargains!! My two favorites are the rocking chair (of course) and the beaded candle holder. Not to say that the rabbit and egg wreath didn't have my full attention. LOL I have a crouching rabbit that I keep in my craft room. It got so hot in there that he split right in half through his tummy! Never had an idea that would happen. Stay cool, I am so sick of these 100s, sure hope August isn't the same. Ugh. Anyhow, great haul and can't wait to see the store set up for fall. Have an awesome weekend my friend!
So many of us have that "no a/c" glow this summer, Rachel ! 😅😅😅 Thanks for another great video and for always showing when you change your mind mid-project!
Ah, the "glow" . . . lol! Glad you enjoyed the video! Thank you so much!! :)
Oh my gosh that stool looks so beautiful ❤❤❤. Love everything you picked up!!! That little rocker, egg wreath and all the other adorable things you found ❤❤❤

Awe, thank you!
Love that sweet little stool result!
Thank you!
Beautiful patina on the bench. I have my great grandmother's bent wood rocker very similar to the one your found. Mine was made between 1890 and 1900.
I'm glad you liked the bench - thank you! And the little rocker is precious - I love old rocking chairs. :)
You found lotsa fun stuff --and good prices. Thanks for the video ~

Thanks for sharing ❤
You are so welcome! :) Thank you!
The stool is much better now. You found a lot of good things . The storage piece was a nice price ❤❤. I love rabbits so the concrete bunny is awesome.
We have the highest temperature here in KY too. Hot and humid . I know it's dumb but I kept thinking it's not long now and we will cool down, right up until you mentioned August.😂😂😂. It's too funny.
Loved the stool and your haul!
Thanks so much!
Great stuff
Thank you!
Great bench! I just did a chair today I used apothecary and some IOD transfers. I also did 3 rolling pins. I have a bench I wanted to do something with! These are great colors! And your haul is very purposefull! Nice!
Thank you!! :)
I love how the bench turned out. Beautiful. You sure did get some awesome things during your haul! The teapot is so cute, and I'm a big bird cage lover. Wow 110! Stay cool Rachel, and looking forward to next week's vid.
Thanks so much! 😊
Love the bench you did such a nice job on it. And your finds are amazing 😊❤
Thank you!! :)
❤❤
Thank you!
*Rachel, I think you are going to be surprised with my opinion this time on your little step stool, LOL.😉 I like the stained top and I thought it was so pretty "as is" with the Sweet Potato Milk Paint on everything except for the plain stained top. ALL DONE & PERFECT FOR ME, Hahahaha‼️🤪 Just stop here, please, LOL! 😉 However, I really liked the stool WITH the Crinoline DIY Paint AND the Floral Stencils by Prima on top WITH NO DISTRESSING, ●but...● then you distressed the base and you got that aqua chipping on the leg...and THEN I DIDN'T THINK YOU HAD ●ENOUGH● DISTRESSING AND CHIPPY DETAILS.*
*.........WHAT⁉️🙉🤪🤣 Yes, I really wanted to see MORE CHIPS the size of the aqua chips AND some same size or bigger chips of the sweet potato color all over the legs in BOTH COLORS❣️ I need to see bigger chips in BOTH COLORS. Isn't that SHOCKING, coming from ME⁉️ Hahahaha❣️🙊 In any event, I KNOW this stool will SELL QUICKLY. 😊*
*As for the Thrift haul - SO MANY GREAT SCORES‼️👍🏼💯😎 I love the floral gravy boat and saucer, the birdcage, BOTH WREATHS - ESPECIALLY the wreath with the realistic patty-pan squashes all around it❣️ YUMMY‼️😋💛💚🧡 MY FAVORITE ITEM is the little child's chair, and I am so glad you are NOT painting it❣️‼️❣️🤎🙉 I agree with you; it's probably not 100 years old, but I estimate it to be about 50 to 60 years old, Rachel. 😉 That was a good "grab" on your part - I would have grabbed it, too❣️😁😉😎💜 Please stay cool in the sweltering 110° heat 🌞 on Sunday, and keep hydrated 💦 with some refreshing lemonade 🍋 or some iced tea🧋so you don't develop a heat stroke. 😂.LOVE YOU, Rachel, my friend❣️ XOXOXO💜 Leslie*
I have to say - I was pretty shocked when I read your comment, haha!! Since when do you like chippy?? lolol I really am glad you liked it - I wish the paint had chipped in a few other places, too, but I didn't want to distress too much - the distressing can tend to look "forced", while the milk paint chips look "natural" and they are really hard to replicate, so I erred on the side of caution. :)
Glad you liked my mini haul - that little rocker is pretty adorable!! Anyway - thank you so very much - you know I always appreciate hearing from you my friend (even if I am a little late with my responses, lol)!!
@@theeclecticcottagespokane *I don't blame you for being shocked...and I understand how chipping can look forced or natural, too, LOL❣️ I was shocked at myself, Rachel...hahaha‼️🤪 Sometimes milk paint just refuses to cooperate, I am told.😉 I know you're very busy...and I really appreciate your reply...whenever you have a moment to do so. 💜💟💕😉*
Rachel I love you but that stool was beautiful with the walnut and crenilin period !! No distress ..I never comment negative and please don't be offended but I just didn't think the outcome was your work. You are one of my faves so I hope I can be honest with our getting backlash fro
m subscribers! ❤Traci
You are more than welcome to your opinion. :) I was really quite happy with the end result on that stool - I personally love a worn, chippy finish from time to time, but I understand the look isn't for everyone! :)
@theeclecticcottagespokane I loved the chippy distressed result on your stool. But agreed that the orange color (can't recall the name) wasn't a good choice with the stained seat.
🎉❤😊
Thank you!
What was the name of the sealer you used on top of the stain? Is if t made specifically for stain?
It is by General Finishes and it's their Semi Gloss top coat. And I don't believe you can only use it over stain. :)
