@@GearHeadJPI had the same luck finding rings for a 1949 Evinrude Speedifour. Good luck with NOS or specific for rings, but like you said, it's the only the dimensions/ring material that matter.

“I’ve got a guy”. His last name is spelled E-b-a-y. I find rings for projects by size, not application.
