Theres some guy on youtube that did a similar exhaust setup to what the GTRs have, and it actually sounded really good. It's a Y pipe to a center 4 inch straight pipe to another Y to each exhaust side. Almost sounded like a Porsche
I only did it this way because the build is performance over sound. Down the line I'll vband in another section for a resonator. Unfortunately these v6 ecoboost just don't sound good lol
@@B9Max Yep that’s the one but I was a little wrong after reading one of the comments on his video, he has a muffler as well. Honestly you kinda need some form of muffler or way to condense the sound of the car to make it sound better, if you don’t they sound like a civic mixed with a 370z lol
Ive always heard to break a new build in like your gonna drive it, id like to see someone take 2 identical builds, break one in easy, then the other in all out, just to see which one lasts longer
That's what I used to have. The true dual intake is marvelous just the original designer of this didn't make it easy to install. Eco power parts makes an updated version which is amazing!
Do you know Mike that's on SHOforum.com? He's from Chicago, has that white 2012 SHO at one time was the highest HP 4th Gen SHO that Livernois both helped and destroy.... I believe his handle is bpd1121 or something. I don't go on there anymore because I sold my 2014 SHO with PP and Gearhead tune - I miss the car but that V6 sounded horrible. Anyway, Mike is in the middle of his crazy build - interested to see which of you wins!
With this extensive of a build why use meth injection and risk a potential failure due to uneven distribution? I understand if E85 isn't readily available in your area but a lot of places still sell race gas at pumps.
Looking forward to upcoming videos. Been watching your progress over the last year or so. Job well done. I have a 2010 flex that i am slowly getting to that status.
If you build it, they will come. Thinking of shooting some nitrous into mine. But I am a little concerned with the direct injection system. Seems like I may need an auxiliary fuel system and fuel pump, for a simple 125 h.p ststem

@@marinusdedreu3833 no I didn’t, some day. I did the exhaust myself and just a CAI for now. Livernoise is a really well respected shop if you can do it you should.

yo, i put an air raid intake on my tuned 2015 sho, I highly recommend them

those gen 3 Rs take a while to spool up but when they do boy do they move some air

Not dependant on methanol. It's for the cleaning and cooling factor. It's a relatively small jet at 500cc.

Assuming with a fully built motor, the turbos or fuel system will be the limiting factor... What type of power are those turbos capable of making?
I'm hoping for 650awhp+. Fuel system will need some help though

What year is your SHO? I have a 2013 i am considering going to LiverNoise and getting downpipes back and tune, have you went to them?
13 sho. Nope not using livernois at all! Check out gearhead tuning or Ortiz performance.

Yes, made a bracket on driver side
That’s a good spot for it, lowers the weight of the nose. Maybe you should put remote mount battery posts so you can easily access your 12V
