SHO-ing love from one SHO owner to another....Welcome back to the cool table! I have this cars twin sister, 13 SHO PP Tuxedo Black loaded with a dozen mods and tuned of course as my daily driver. Looking good bro, love it and enjoy it! These cars were made for us people that just cant leave things well enough alone!
Never seen your channel before but a big like 👍 for showing the Taurus SHO so much love. Since the 1st gen SHO these cars have never gotten the love nor proper appreciation from car enthusiasts that they should have gotten!
I’m so excited man! Hats to Ryan for the amazing build and hats off to you for buying to keep it going. Time to pull out those seats so we can line em up for a race!
I'd just leave it like it is and have a sleeper street car, once you gut it to get it on the track it's hard to put it together when you just want to drive it
So so so happy to see a SHO back on the channel!!! Nothing wrong with the golf it just wasn't a SHO LOL. I LOVE MY 89 SHO!! It has a lot of shoshop parts and my transmission will handle all the power I will ever throw at it gotta love the manual transmissions.
I say turn it up just enough to set the record real quick then figure out how your gonna balance the stock taurus transmission and hellcat power lol. No need to strip the interior when it makes that kinda power. Doubt you would need to and i dont think the trans would know any different either. love it. One of a kind for sure. Tons of potential too. Congrats.
Wanted to do a nice SHO build but sold mine and got into a newer Golf R, a little more fun but nothing beats making that boat rip! Love seeing both in your garage hopefully mine will look the same someday
The Explorer Sport and the Taurus SHO are the same cars underneath the shell. Just the Explorer is around 400 pounds heavier. But my point is, it would be insane if this power was in an Explorer, and you could definitely do more to it, because the Explorer has a larger engine bay, but you’d probably have to strip it out. Anyways, this is one crazy SHO. I love it!
My 11 SHO is much faster than any newer model . Plus I've stuck an extra 6 grand in it. 1 owner, ME. 310,000 miles. Still giving em hell here in Cincinnati .
Man this is sick, Do you have Dyno numbers for it? I'm getting ready to do the 1/4 million mile service on my 2010 SHO. The 6F55 in mine is starting to slip at stock power so I can only imagine how hard life is for the 6F55 in this one.
They're ridiculously quick... Mine would pull from 90 and feel just as good as pulling for 30... Loved this car to death... Got rid of it and have regretted it ever since. Nothing beat it. 12 inches of snow with some snow tires and it was unstoppable. Ripped around in the summer on some summer tires it could hustle... Queen of the highway.
I have a clean 2010 and I love it. Low miles and smooth ridding. How much HP can I get out the engine without changing stock parts? Thinking of getting a tune but leaving it stock as much as I can.
When that car made the record run do you know how much boost it ran and was the nitrous used? Sweet car. Looks like it would be a hell of a lot of fun.
I like the single turbo setup. You can get to it and remove it very easily if needed. I wish Ford would think of these things when they design their cars.
Closed deck block or a block guard? Regardless seems like that engine is close to maxed. All that methanol helps max timing and cooling. Hate breaking, it’s part of having a robust engine and a stressed driveline. How many differentials and transmissions will you go through? Hopefully none and you get to put down some numbers to maintain the crown. Good luck
@@AutoRacingYT Sweet build, So it was a built block, big turbo, Meth Injection, Nitrous and it's only doing mid 11's? How much does it weigh? You should be able to turn the boost up if you are only running 14psi on a closed deck and just ditch the nitrous unless you are using it to help spool the turbo. Get a built transmission and turn that bad boy up. Was a little surprised since a Q with stock turbos, stock block, stock transmission are easily in the low 11's with just bolt ons and an Ethanol tune. They are no featherweight at 4200lbs, but are usually pushing 19-20psi. Your new toy has a lot of potential to get in the low 10's. Subscribed to see what you do with it.
I almost bought a police car Ford Taurus with the EcoBoost twin turbo this would have been awesome to do, but I bought a 2012 Dodge charger pursuit with 77,000 miles it's pretty fast gonna make it faster though 😁
Sorry if I missed it but I think your title isn't correct. There's a guy in Chicago (Mike?) with a white SHO that has about 678 WHP. He built the hell out of it using Livernois but they had a huge falling out and now he's rebuilding it to be a monster.
Welcome back my friend! Sick SHO you got there!!!

Appreciate what Ryan did with a FULL car... RESPECT.
This is sweet. I found your channel shortly after you got rid of your previous Taurus and I’m excited to see the videos you make with this one

let’s go you back ! excited for SHO content finally. was sad when your build died. you’re an inspiration to us SHO owners
This is so cool! If I had money I would definitely do it to my Sho
SHO is the most underrated and underappreciated car ever !
Seen this car on the market place, was trying to get my buddy to buy it. lol. Congrats on the purchase man. Glad to see someone put her to use!

Welcome back!! Look at that big ass single wheel!!!
So happy to have you back!!!! Yeah!!!!!
The turbo noises though!! My rearward turbo is weeping oil, how hard could a single swap be? 😂😂 can’t wait to see what you do with it!
A big turbo SHO, excited for this. Also can't wait for September to come as I'm getting a big turbo put into my 2014 fusion 2.0!
Nice sho man. I know you are going to be doing some work to this so I subbed.
That's a beautiful sho, please keep the content coming
Great content as always! Question, what part of Missouri do you live in?
Yay! Good to have you back in the community
Happy for you man!
Imagine him driver though a car meet up with that baby whistling ! LMAO..... Dope car ! WB

Sounds so smooth!

so how do you feel about the reliability of them because im stuck between buying a newer model low miles or if a older one would be fine to work with
@@CeoCee11 basically really reliable until turbos, timing chains or water pump go out which could be at any time
I’m in cincy too I have a e85r tuned 2021 mustang 5.0 we should meet up at edge water and run it.
@@josh777_ meet at edge water sometime.
@@alexanderelsen9185 I’m in Utah lol
So glad you got back into a sho then a hellcat
Congrats, welcome back to the PHO SHO family. What are the spec of the wheels and tires, I like the setup.
Man all the way from Michigan, i saw that car and met Ryan at Milan dragway when he first built it and started figuring it out, its a sweet car.
I got the 3.5 SEL model and she's got some decent power NA I can't imagine throwing 30lbs of boost at it
Ooooh! indeed! Welcome back to the club good Sir! I've been sleepin on you!
THE SHO MUST GO ON!!!!❤️
I have 2013 stock SHO and I plan on building it up this summer
This popped up at the perfect time because one of my turbos went bad and I’m thinking about going single
Apart from the performance side the car looks absolutely beautiful. What wheels are on the SHO? Im looking to get new wheels for mine.
Holy crap!!
2 different meth injection and wet nitrous!!
Wow!! That block can take some spray!!
pretty sure ive seen you on some fb groups. Love the car
Welcome back brother!
Nothing is better than the 90's Ford Taurus v8 SHO
Sounds insane!!
Subbed since I never knew about the new gen SHOs. I want a bigger car after enjoying my ST for a while..
Congratulations on the purchase! Can't wait to see how the build unfolds 👏🏿. #STAYWOT
Beautiful, I have the MKS eco/awd
I got this cars married sister Flex Ecoboost same platform as the SHO. The 3.5 l twin turbo V6 has a really high output.
Man this is sick, Do you have Dyno numbers for it?

That’s awesome! What’s the HP/TQ?
What are the wheel specs on this? Id love to get mine looking aggressive like this one in the stance 💯💯💯
You should check out an ATSV... you would be shocked at what 24lbs of boost does on the LF4 platform. 10.0@135mph range.
I've always loved these cars, luxury comfort and awd can't beat it, im curious whay this car could do with just basic bolt on parts and a tune.

@@withku yeah man... These things are awesome. Truly spectacular vehicles.
Congrats. Single turbo, very interesting.
still waiting for the day someone does it on our platform 😂
Driveshaft shop carbon fiber axle and driveshaft might help with stress on the trans and ptu at launch
That thing is super sick
Subscribed because of the sho
Welcome back!!

Does it have more turbo lag? Just wondering if the larger turbo takes longer to spool up.
When that car made the record run do you know how much boost it ran and was the nitrous used? Sweet car. Looks like it would be a hell of a lot of fun.

This Taurus looks and sounds amazing!!!!
Love the car, just curious on what records it has set.
Welcome back to the SHOw.
That joint sound like a diesel turbo fr🚫🧢
Thats awesome! Im currently building the most built ecoboost mustang in the world!
ABOUT TIME I HOPE THEY FIX MINE I WANT HER BACK SO BAD
is that the 6f55 transmission? and if so its it stock and it handles all this power?
Jordan: I’m ready to be hurt again.
Sho: 👍
I need to replace the PTU on my '13 SHO. Any help out there?
this makes me tingle down there
4:55 if my eyes were close. I would think it was a GN.
Does it have stock cams?
Look at that beauty!
He was on gate makes sense. Was gonna say the bushes didn’t really seem to go by any faster when he got on the skinny lol
Ha, nothing in this video was full throttle just making noises
Is that the one they posted on Facebook??! Thing is sick!!
That’s a sick sleeper
Man I miss my SHO... Should have never let it go.
Whats your plans for the exhaust? Putting tail pipes Flowmaster super 40’s etc..
It's exhaust is mostly complete just needs a couple more little things.
congrats on the purchase! so now the big question is - strip it and go 10s, or just enjoy it?
Enjoy it for now!

@@dankolicious10 Exactly what I was thinking. That's terrible. All that money and it's pretty slow for what's done to it
Please tell me what wheels are on this car I love them
My Tesla S plaid weighs more than 5,000 lbs and runs low 10’s full interior everything. I like golf and love the sho
That turbo sounds SHO--good. Glad you are back in the game. That oil cooler setup is sick.
Someone makes a 4.1 stroker for this engine along with their own sleeved block.
Why Ford stop making the Sho, Flex Limited Twin Turbo I don't know.
Out of curiosity, if your willing, how much did you spend on it? Rough number
What intercooler is that
