  • In this Photoshop tutorial, learn how to fade an image to transparent in Photoshop. You can fade images by using layer masks in Photoshop. We can add a gradient to the layer mask or paint with the brush tool to create image transparency in Photoshop.

    This must be a PS 2023 tutorial because my set up does not look like that. We don't get the gradient bar on the image nor do we get the gradient options to the right

    The problem is , how to show the exported png image like this one in windows 11 photo viewer? The transparency will convert to white!! , annoying me , & Facebook also do the same fault , only paint brush program shows the real transparency of this png , is there away to solve this situation please?

      You cannot use png on FB. They will convert it to jpg. File>export>png on Photoshop.

    Thank you, but this was a mask tutorial, I don't think it has much to do with how to make transparent

    someone plz make a proper tutorial on actualy how to make the gradient. everyone just assumes we know everything

      I mean, I’m pretty sure if you watch at the 2min mark I explain how to make one. Where do you trip up?
