Nice chatterbaits buddy. To be honest, I've never fished a chatterbait. I've poured lead for jigs and spinnerbaits. This past two weeks, I've been looking for either an Arkie, Sparkie, or Poison swing-tail jig. I ordered about 600 tabs, I still have wire to tie, and going to buy about 10lbs of living rubber, blades, split rings, and line connectors. I'm just undecided on which jig head to get.
Hey man! I opened the eye as much as I could and put it in the mold, I did not modify the mold at all. Then just make sure you tape the hook eyes when you paint to keep that eye nice and clean.
What size is your vacuum chamber? I was looking into getting one for my soft plastics and didn't know what size chamber to get. I have seen 3, 2.5, and 1 gallon chambers on Amazon. Your input would be appreciated. Thanks Great looking baits
I have a 3 gallon, bought the kit off ebay, cheap one works good, just make sure you buy the oil that you need for the pump. I think I had to buy it separate.
Nice video. Like your work. I’ve heard that zman has reached out to people making bladed baits where the blades are directly connected to the hook like you did. Apparently, that approach is patented. Hope you don’t hear from them
Hey Patrick, I break them all the time too. I am trying to find a way to not use the punch, maybe some kind of pliers that could open up that hole. If i ever figure it out i will keep you posted man!

Have you tried annealing or heating the eye of the hook up? Seen a video a while back of a guy doing that with decent results.
