A heat gun works really good for heating up jig head before u dip and wooden dowels for shish kebabs work really good to block the hole so u don’t get paint in ur brush guard hole

I appreciate you taking the time to show your process in making jigs. I've gotten really interested in making some myself, and your process looks very simple and easy to do.

It’s not that difficult. It takes a little practice to get it down right but it’s trial and error.

got tired of fiber weed guard so i found tip to put high temp rtv in weed guard slot in mold. then i use the wire guard wire. the just cut off extra.

Awesome video. You solved a problem for me. I've been trying to learn to hand tie my jigs with thread and getting not so professional results. The weed guard keeps getting my fowled up. The wire wrap is the solution to this. I know I can do this because I have kept a length of wire on the boat for years to save old jigs with rotten collars. Thanks for the inspiration and clear explanation .

Great video!! I've been using the bands when tying but wanted to start wire tying them. This was a good instructional video and helped me out a lot. I've seen some where they put thread down then wrap the skirt with it to hold it in place then use the wire but seeing your way it looks easier. One other question: Do you put the main color on the bottom then the highlight on top so the highlight color would be where weed guard is and main on top of hook?? Thanks again. Stay Safe & God Bless!!

How do you get your pot to NOT drip? I used mine for the very first time and it would not stop dripping. I tried to turn the screw but still dripping.

Usually three. Sometimes two and half. Sometimes three and quarter.

Pin/Pen merger...cool thing with some American dialects of English. However, context clues should let you know what I mean.

@@OneCastFishing, never heard of either, teflon pen or teflon pin. hence my inquiry.
