Ditto! My immediate thought was "Holy Moly😲 THAT would look spectacular draped across the foot of a bed w/a simple white duvet. Then I would find bedside lamps to pull the colors of the flowers up towards the shams" LOL! As soon as she picked it up I was already decorating with it, 🤣! Have a great week!🦚

I love it when Andrew trys telling Jocelyn no but she goes on and gets what she wants. On some of the other people I watch I can't stand to see the man want to be the boss. But Andrew is funny when he says no because he knows it's a waste of time. Lol

This comment is for your video yesterday with u and Dagny at goodwill. U had a "teacup" in your hand and commented that you didn't know why it didn't have a handle. It wasn't a teacup but was a "bullion cup". I just came across one and thought I'd share with you! Thanks for the awesome videos. You are such a joy to watch. It shows how much you love your work!! ☺
Proper teacups didn't have handles until some time in the 19th century. Bouillon cups still don't.

So many treasures one after the other! 😍 The green runner, the velvet table cover is to die for, the box of lamps (and you must keep the Baccarat for a while at least), the jewelry and Halloween die cuts. What a trip! I loved the framed picture of the girl with the cala Lily you looked at touching the box of lamps too.

Wow- great deal on those Aladdin lamps! The crazy lamp lady is back! There was a truck planter next to the nativity set - trucks are really hot right now with farmhouse decor. And, I would have still grabbed that colorful table runner 😀

🦋An Antique Dealer told me real Bakelite smells like ammonia. This Flea Market is bigger than the one you usually go to or is it the same one? I'm miss going to Stormville NY Antique and Flea Market at their Airport. Leather cigarette holder. I collect little sheep. A dealer at a Flea Market gave me a tiny metal sheep, that's my absolute favorite.
Formaldehyde. Bakelite is made with formaldehyde and will give off the smell (sometimes) when tested with friction (your thumb will do), hot water (as long there's no metal or string involved or rhinestones) or silver polish. SImichrome is the gold standard but it's no good in the field. Baking soda and a damp q-tip works well too, but again not in the field. Best to use a thumb and your nose then. Non-destructive and cheap.
The belt buckles were amazing! They all looked vintage! $18-$65 each.
We paid $10 for all.

Oh my gosh... Andrew looks like he's breaking out in a sweat when he pulled his wallet out for the box of lamps. I can't tell you how many times I have seen my husband look like that. 😁 I love the bird bolo as well as the white Aladdin lamp I think I'm in love with that!
