I honestly like the way it discolored the money look in the pot, almost makes it look like an old newspaper that has been discolored and put in the pot. Almost as if it was something from your grandparents house that is a memory you wanted to keep. Kinda funky 👌 well done!

The resined money really looks fine! You could also crumble it, strip it, and put it in your wood project. Maybe add some fake plastic coins….

Resin and Money! There's no better combo
The cash could be nice to pen blanks or micarta. Perhaps the micarta can be used for knife scales.
So I wonder if you were to use multiple pieces orientated in same direction sealed together so reverse image doesn't bleed through, then place each book of multiples scattered about and then encase the entirety in resin.

Hey Nick, if you should ever try this again, maybe try laminating the "Bills" before adding the resin.

I think if you put a thick white background, the money wouldn't go so transparent and take the color of the wood as much. I like the concept, I like the idea, the end result just didn't work.
But that's what I like about your channel Nick, you show the awesome things that you make but you also show your failures and that brings a very human side to your channel.

Seeing the line comes gave the idea that it could look cool if you dipped a bunch of them into different holiday colors of paint so they were fully coated. And then you put those into a resin mold and make a big bowl out of that could hold treats or cookies or something else holiday like. Cheers for another fun video!

The finished pot looks so rich. This is a great way to revive an old project. I have a replica $100 bill that was a prop used in a stage show, and they really do a pretty good job at making it look real from a distance.
It could be a good place to drop everything you find when you empty your pockets at the end of the day. Or, carrying on with the money theme, you could just toss your spare coinage into it and let it add up.
I just pictured one of those fancy paper Asian umbrellas with that 'rejected' money plate
LOL Funny money is right! I like the project. I also liked the notes that you lacquered and resined. Finish that up the side and it would made a nice bowl for putting your spare change in! 💚

Try spraying that "money" with a couple coats of clear gloss paint-Rustoleum 2x and let dry good before epoxy? I love your ideas!! I wish I had your talents!

MaKe a layered poker table (like your chocolate coin one) paint the back black first or laminate them somehow so they dont fade (but even faded ones would look cool)
