(Apologies about the distortion on my side in this video...I had mic sensitivity turned up too high in an effort to fix some of these volume issues and it didn't work out. I did learn a lot about audio editing though so I'm hopeful we'll have both clarity and sufficient loudness in my videos from here on out) 💙💛

    Good Morning Daria and Paul,
I was taking notes during the video with the intention of commenting on how corruption is interconnected with propaganda. I just saw an example a few days ago how propaganda is being used to falsely accuse Ukraine of corruption.
    Then Daria spoke this line.
    14:18
"Ukraine is now being executed, therefore please help us military to protect our democracy because we relied on you."😢
I detected a tone of desperation and frustration in those words. Those words resonate with me because I honestly share these feelings. The Ukrainian people will need our help long after the war is over. Holy crap, I've got my toolbelt and my hammer ready to go.
    What an emotional roller coaster!
United, we will defeat the Kremlin. 🤟

I'm Ukrainian from Kherson, working as an Architect in the Netherlands and hoping to start to rebuild my country soon 🌻 Was in Kherson just few weeks ago - saw completely destroyed villages... now thinking on how to battle corruption while getting investments into rebuilding my region. You are so resourceful and solution-oriented, you will figure out a way in no time (and I think Daria's suggestion of having international supervision/aid at least in the beginning is great!) Please keep your hopes up! The free world believes in you. And soon, there will come a time when we will be glad to learn from you! Lots of love from Germany.

Thanks Paul. The more I learn about Ukraine, the more impressed I am and the more confident in their potential to become a huge ally. Look out Germany and France - Ukraine and Poland are setting themselves up to become the new powers of the EU. Too bad it took this horrible invasion for the West to really start supporting and valuing Ukraine (and it still isn’t where it needs to be). Do you expect China to circle like vultures after this is over with their ‘investment’ offerings?

It's hard to believe how positive and inspiring the Ukrainian people are despite everything they have to face and endure. And I think we have to thank them for reminding us of how precious freedom is. In this regard we can only learn from Ukrainians.
Regarding corruption: yes, there still are some steps to go. But they are so resourceful and solution-oriented, I'm convinced they will achieve their goals. And they have more than proven to the world that they are serious about it. In the end, this could well be another area where we learn from them.

    Hi Paul
Thank you for introducing us to so many amazing individuals like Daria who are doing very hard but critically important work in Ukraine. I have no doubt that corruption is one of the toughest problems every country faces, but it is refreshing to see someone who believes so deeply in her values that she works undeterred even in times of war and can get Ukraine’s president to take action against it.
As far as your comment on Abramovich, who is part owner in a steel mill that is an important employer where I live, I wondered why I never heard sanctions being placed against it or Abramovich himself. A news article from March explained it this way…A statement from the company said, “ENA (EVRAZ North America) operates independently in the United States and Canada, in all areas, including procurement of raw materials, operating production facilities and corporate financing. In the United States and in Canada, we represent domestic industry. We produce steel with American and Canadian workers, supporting the American and Canadian economies. Our facilities are ingrained in the local communities in which they operate.” The unfortunate truth is that if for some reason sanctions caused this plant to close, I feel the conspiracy theorist that was narrowly elected from my district would have been more willingly supported.
It would be so much better is he would give up his shares (to non-family member or Putin ally). For what it is worth, I believe Operator Starsky said yesterday that Abramovich was going to donate some money to Ukraine which, to Operator Starsky, is reparations in a way because Abramovich stole the money from the taxpayers of Russia.
In any case, keep up the great work! Hope this helps not only your channel, but hope it helps rally people to become more involved in helping Ukraine.

We need help in changing the law enforcement system from England, the European Union and the United States, as was done with the army: 100% testing and training of all personnel from top to bottom by Western instructors. Plus, Western security companies should have free access to the Ukrainian market. It is also imperative to link the provision of economic assistance with a real change in the judicial system.

Because if we just leave ruzzia as it is at the border, who knows when they will decide to invade again? We need either to undo ruzzia to different parts so they are not a threat or be in NATO.
