OMG I like Nathan so much. I wanted them to elaborate more on the mental illness aspect because I feel that’s what Nathan was battling. Possibly some PTSD from something in his past. I enjoyed his character.

So.... why was Issa so mad that Molly turned Nathan away on her bday ? The way I see it is, Molly was just in protective friend mode, from the guy who hadn’t contacted Issa in weeks.
She was and I had the same question you have. But sometimes you have a whole spill of feelings you want to get out to someone the next time you speak and Molly snatched that away from her. Even if she was just gonna tell him to F off, Issa still should’ve been able to say that herself. Plus molly is a mess in her own love life. So she needs to handle that first.
I'm team Molly on this one too. He could have picked another day to make a comeback!!! If he obviously cared he would have showed up another time,which he did! Issa should have been grateful for this as she had an amazing birthday! In real life I've learned to not get involved in friends problems as much as it always causes conflicts.
