Sewing An Elegant Late 1950s Outfit

Welcome to another video. In this video I'm showing you how to sew this elegant late 1950s wiggle dress from a 1959 vintage sewing pattern that I got from the Vintage Sewing Pattern Company. It's the S3035 and it has 3 patterns, a wiggle dress, a bolero and an overkirt. The pattern size is 36 so I had to make alterations...
In Part 2, which I will upload next Saturday, I will show you how I made the bolero and the pillbox hat, which was a DIY, using cardboard as I didn't have any millinery materials!

Oh unfortunately the vintage machine is not working now and also I don't thread the bobbin in that one as I don't know how to! There are videos on here if you search vintage Singer machine, and you'll see how to thread etc. 😊
