You have a wonderful way with furniture! As far as your art, what a cool way to make your ink! And I have been a picture framer who had tried to quit twice but was sought after every time working at a frame shop, a fame shop/art gallery and a high end Photographer for a total of 20 years. (She is still trying to get me back! ) I have seen all kinds of art and actually had artists give me free lessons and I was hired the first time when I took some of my pastels in to get framed. Your vases are lovely and truly would sell! I really love the feel of them but I love living out in the country and decided I needed to get back to doing some of my art as I think it is cathartic! Well done! Love to see what else you do and hope you incorporate it into your reveals! I love pastels but also totally love pen and ink. Keep it up and please do reveal more of your artwork! ❤️💫

I’m 66 years old and these MCM pieces you do are straight out of my childhood. At that time my mom worshipped at the alter of Danish Modern. All of these pieces were parked in their designated places atop gold sculpted carpet in our sunken living room. Spotlights danced on poles that were extended from floor to ceiling, and walls and draperies were in a subtle off white which was necessary so the upholstered pieces (adorned in gold, turquoise, and red) could pop. I’m hearing strains of the Tijuana Brass playing on the long low stereo and seeing my mom get ready to entertain with a trays of canapés and little finger sandwiches. I love that you bring these pieces back to life!

LOVE the art project. And another successful furniture rescue too. :) Don't worry about giving us the same 'strip/scrape/sand/finish' process in every video. I'm not looking for anything different. I'm here to watch you bring order out of chaos, beauty out of trash, and watching a piece come to life under your hands is so rewarding. It soothes my psyche in ways I don't really understand, and is so relaxing to watch. I love your videos.

I've been watching restoration and refinishing videos for about 6 months as a way to relax myself from the stress of involvements elsewhere. As I learned more, the quality of work, the processes used, and how they are communicated have come to matter to me as much as the outcome. In all of these aspects you excel. The furniture and artwork were both amazing. I used to watch lots of furniture refinishing CZcams channels but found that you are one of the few that really knows what they are talking about. Love the movement toward wood finishes. You do it better than anyone. You may be an acrylic painter but proved you a good watercolorist too.

Yes, the result is worth it. And I'd like to add that I have a very hard time doing the last step in any project at any phase and I admire your ability to look at what's needed to do the work and then finish. And please don't ever stop giving us bunnies and kittens. I did a lot of work with the humane society in Irvine California and in Vancouver Washington, and never considered bunnies before now.

Wow, Angie! another beautiful restoration project. I admire & am in awe of the skill, care & effort you put into saving old furniture from going to the trash. Your skills are amazing & l love watching & listening to you do these every week. It saddens me that some people feel the need to voice negative opinions instead of admiring the positive work you do. Keep doing what you do & true followers will keep coming back for more. I also loved your paintings. They are simple but stunning. Thank you for the bunny update. They are adorable. Wishing you love, happiness & success always.

The vacuum attachment to the sander is genius. I hate to think how much sawdust etc., my Dad inhaled over the years. Of course, he had spots of asbestos already from childhood, helping his dad build boilers.
When, God willing, I am finally able to set up a little shop corner in the garage, I will certainly try to get one of those setups!

I never thought I'd sit through a 27 minute furniture refinishing video. BUT, your gentle explanations, forest foraging for ink materials, bunny and kitten breaks, and the finished product means I didn't even notice the time passing. The furniture is not to my taste - a bit too classical, but someone will love it. The artwork on the other hand, is gorgeous! I would pay for that.

Angie, you are one talented young lady! Your artwork is gorgeous and the fact that you're willing to try a new medium speaks volumes about you! That black mark looked like melted plastic to me. Those pieces look amazing thanks to your awesome insight and determination!
Loved the bunny interlude and seeing Nacho so young! Rescuing any animal is a beautiful experience! Every dog or cat that I've ever had were rescues. They're put in my path at the right time in my life. Right now, I have a rescued cat that has been with for 10 years. He part Maine coon and weighs about 30 lbs. He's a big boy, that is the most chill cat I've ever had!
You're videos are not at all boring or too long as I'm learning something new with each and everyone I watch. Love Howard feed n wax and have used for years to nourish and maintain the drawers of my furniture. If it's allowed to do it's job, wiped off and dries properly, it will last quite awhile. I redo my (furniture, just to be clear)drawers about once every other year. My mother insisted this being done in our spring cleaning!
Just know that, I, for one, enjoy your videos and ❤ the added bonus of your beautiful kitties and bunnies!
