welcome to the MOST EXTRA iOS 14 home screen setup you've ever seen!! in this video I show you guys exactly how to customize your home screen with iOS 14 and make it into a cute studio ghibli theme. i've been watching some cute ios 14 home layout screen ideas, so i thought i'd make a unique one that's reminiscent of my childhood hehe. there's totoro to kiki's delivery service to howl's moving castle, so keep watching to see how I made this super cute and aesthetic home screen setup :))
i'll be showing EXACTLY how I built this home screen - all the way from planning my layout to customizing the app icons on my iphone (using photoshop) to customizing the ios 14 widgets using widgetsmith and color widgets!

* just a couple things to keep in mind:
- I did use photoshop! so you're gonna need photoshop if you want to customize it like mine, im sorry 😭
- because I used shortcuts, the icons doesn't show "badge notifications" -- or the numbers on the top right corner of the app. I personally don't mind because I think they're distracting, but if you do, then it's just something to note :-))

I love this concept, its perfect. My question is what do i do with the actual apps, not the shortcuts? Did you stick them in a folder on another screen?
@@samanthasmith8669 Hey girl, thank you so much for watching! ❤️ The iOS 14 update has an “App Library” feature that organizes the apps in folders for you, but they’re not displayed in any of your pages :) It’s pretty cool! Like an “app drawer” that you can stash and hide things in!
