I must have watched these videos at least 15 times now. I still love the reactions. It's so real. His level in whatever language is completely irrelevant, the reaction is genuine. I've since experienced this quite a few times in Portuguese, Mandarin and even in Zulu and the reaction is always worth the risk of sounding silly in the language.
It's sad the arabic man seemed ashamed of being Arabic at first. He probably thought that this guy was a racist or something.

Watching Anime everyday to learn Japanese is so pointless. Most of it isn't even real Japanese and over the top dramatic vocabulary that no one uses in real life. Sure, some of it might be useful but that depends on the Anime you watch. I really hate anime fans ruining the reputation of people who seriously try to learn Japanese by themselves. We use flash card apps, have conversations in Japanese with different people, use different apps for vocabulary, Kanji etc. We don't sit and watch anime all day.
