@@MrMrPopols Not necessarily true. Obviously, I am not speaking from experience as there is no real way to compare difficulty unless I was simultaneously a native Chinese speaker who tried learning another language and a speaker of another language trying to learn a Chinese language, but the reason why Chinese is so difficult is because it is tonal. As I said, I don't know of the difficulties a person would face that only knows tonal languages while trying to learn a non-tonal language, but it is very unlikely that the challenge is equal. Another thing to note is that google seems to agree with me that tonal speakers don't have that much trouble with non-tonal languages.

"When you get a chance you should go to china".
"Oh, I certainly will". - Laoshu
"China is quite fun".
I hate to be morbid but it breaks my heart this man never got to go and travel in China. Thank you for everything. We love and miss you.
What a beautiful video. Rest in peace man, hurts to watch knowing you're not with us. Thank you for blessing us with this treasure before you left.
When he whipped out Cantonese they knew that he was basically god himself at that point
Pujstur 😆😆😆
Pujstur 💀💀
Pujstur facts. Cantonese got like 9 tones and it’s very difficult to learn for beginners so for him speaking it there’s a lot respect amongst the Cantonese speakers.
Never thought I would be crying over someone I've never met but, this dude brought so much joy to my life over the last few years watching the interactions that he had with people. With so many Americans being intentionally and belligerently ignorant in the language department, it was always a breath of fresh air to see one of us learning to communicate (and doing so super well) with so many people in their native tongues. We really lost a treasure. RIP, Mr. Mouse.
wait he didnt fucking die on me did he?
@@klumppedidu476 unfortunately passed away from heart complications. Died too young just like his idol Bruce Lee
@@MyUniqueHandle. that’s absolutely fucking devastating, what a profound impact that dude had on me... RIP
RIP 😔
I still can't believe he's gone.
Iam so sad that i just found his channel and not when he was alive Rest in Peace 😢😭
He encouraged me to learn in my early days last year (he said use hellotalk, which I downloaded then, and still use now), and this was one of the first films I watched... (and probably one of my favourites now for listening practice and to cheer me up when I feel like my learning isn't getting better!!). Everyone is like this in my experience. Chinese people are often surprised to hear westerners speak even if rubbish like me!
I know he gets a lot of flack for his film titles and whatnot. But, you, me and others will be able to learn from listening to his films forever.
His confidence and ability to try speaking to new people is really how to learn languages. Books have limitations!!
Keep learning this wonderful language. I wish I had found it earlier in life.
My favorite video. Rest in peace Moses
I hope that he honestly still friends with these men.
Right??
I"m sure he is.
