The African man at the beginning makes me so happy - imagine not being able speak your language very often because there are likely not as many speakers in your new home. Part of me thinks he's so happy hearing Shona and Zulu is because it's the first time he's heard it from someone in years - and from an unexpected source! His reaction is so wholesome.
a little late but I especially loved the part where moses hits him with the click sound and the dude just loses it. He does it himself while mentioning xhosa language but I'm sure he wasn't expecting to hear it back! His reaction definitely makes it one of my favorite clips ^_^
His smile when Moses said Shona was such a heartwarming moment. It went straight to his heart. Love the reactions Laoshu received when he spoke the languages of other people he came across. He was always spreading joy. Even though he is gone his videos will inspire many people such as myself to speak other languages.

Not gonna lie...but hearing someone talking Italian just makes my day xD
I am Italian and of course when I speak it, I dont really notice my accent...but hearing someone not Italian talking it, just makes me realise a lot. I personally ain't a big multi language guy (so far knowing Italian, Romanian, English and Spanish), but I love learning new ones as well as this guy does. Right now I'm into Japanese...I dont know it...but I find it really interesting...and also I would like to get that accent as well (I adapt quiet fast to each new language I'm faced with...once I've learned it, u can count on it that I'll get the accent and almost sound like I've been born in there...do not ask how, but I'm a lucky and grateful person for that).
Also since this comment is quiet well...new on top of a old video, even thought it may not get as much notice, I'm still going to say that by seeing someone getting interested into other people's cultures, defenetly puts a smile on my face.
Also make my day when he spoke Spanish in another video and i can understand what you mean about the accent. Learning languages is so fun when you get to interact to other people from another country!

You get a taste of this when you travel to where your language is not spoken and stay there for a few weeks then go back home.
I was on the phone with an Indian call centre worker once and he seemed a bit down. I asked one of my Indian friends if he could speak with him and he did. After, the guy was so happy and thankful as he didn't expect that and normally just gets aggressive people one the phone.

I have a coworker from Tanzania who doesn’t speak English all too well. He’s a really cool guy and I think his native language is Swahili. I’m going to be purchasing the level 1 Swahili course and start learning it so that when I finally ask him what his native language is, I can start speaking to him already.
