You know for 2800 Nanites you can make a copy of your Iron Vulture from your Expedition save from the Anomaly. I have made 12 copies and have 4 sets of Cockpits, Wings and Tails to make a custom Iron Vulture in whatever color I choose.
I believe you must have had the Iron Vulture selected as your main ship at the end of the expedition to be able to copy them once you returned to your main save.
Just checked a few methods, it looks like it got patched bum! LOL
@@ScottishRod I must have been lucky enough to get it done before it was patched I got 4 of each part before I logged off last I will check it out when I am able to get back on sometime today.
Still working as of 5pm on the 1st of June so now I will need to replenish some of my 126,000 Nanites I spent making copies of the Iron Vulture
So you played the expedition in a new save and claimed the ship as many times as you wanted in you main save for 2800 nanites?
Those damaged ship base parts may be a preview of a "rusted" ship customization in the future. It would go well with the "sputtering" ship trail.

I saw this post on reddit it imply s that the original vulture is better than the ones you build
im not sure if this is the one from the expedition or quick silver merchant. The one you get from the expedition itself is a true keeper. It is NOT a hauler under the hood (even though it's classed as such), and thus, it's worth flying. It's likely a reskinned exotic, based on how well it tunes up (it can break 3200 Maneuverability). Do NOT keep any of the custom builds unless it's for giggles or role playing purposes. But do keep the original reward Iron Vulture. Once the expedition goes away, you aren't getting any more.
Ro the stealth paint job on a vulture looks awesome made glowing ball vulture that looks sick
I've seen in other videos that you only need the one part of the "Iron Vulture" to rebuild it. It makes sense considering not everyone would know how to "dupe" parts anyway. To those who have "duped" the parts, you may have more vultures than you think.

My issue with these expeditions is there's so many cool looking parts and items locked away from any new player getting them. I started this year, just hit 90 hours and I would love to make a character like a construct. The problem is that it's locked from being used by new players forever. Really hate it when companies do that.
I get it with a few cosmetic items and MAYBE some ships. But dont lock an integral species forever because I couldn't play the game when it had more bugs than the drinking water in africa! I liked the Devs for sticking with this game, but now that's just left a bad taste.
I feel your pain-however, if they are still planning to cycle through all the expeditions on a regular intermittent basis via the kiosk, there will be other chances. That said, I would love for them to implement something like Deep Rock Galactic is going to attempt with their seasons, and allow you to undertake these expeditions at will, to get rid of that niggling FOMO.
@@CassidiVine or they could sell all of the items for 100,000 quicksilver at the store. Make it super hard to get, but they're at least available for new players.
Of course, I’m not referring to the expedition only items and such when saying this but I believe that the Autophages and therefore the construct body type is still available much later in the story, it’s a little harder to get true but I don’t believe it to be impossible and out of reach. Please correct me if I’m wrong about this however.
@@jaybear03 yeah you're right. I just got the parts after doing their quests. Still all of the other expedition exclusive items should be accessible to the newer audience. Even if it's an item pack for a couple bucks.

I kinda hope they add the old rewards as some kinda salvage on a mission. Maybe on abandoned freighters. That'd be nice. Because I've been here for a fair few expeditions but there's still base parts I'm missing.

Yea thats the broken one correct i got it aswell i think some people are overlooking this its a new trail.
I have rebuild my vulture at the right station to get 4 sqaure supercharged and its a beast of a ship would say one of the better ships to have as a beginner even if its not a 4 sqaure it has good shields range and overall power

Quick question if anyone’s done the expedition. I just got back into the game and am in the process of doing this expedition. Managed to snag a sentinel ship along the way I’m adoring. Am I able to keep the ship after the expedition or should I take its parts off and get another on my main save?
If it's a new save and not the kiosk in the Anomaly the save converts to a normal save but I would take not of the portal address of the location just to make sure and for future reference.
I can now confirm, having made the new save from the kiosk at the anomaly to start the expedition, you CAN save the ship and even your multitool.
So long as you have your ship of choice or multitool of choice equipped by the end of the expedition, you’ll get the option to replicate both for nanites. You seem to be able to replicate your ship of choice infinitely as well.
Sadly I gutted my ship of all of its parts before I ended the expedition and only kept a few so it kinda sucks now, but at least I know how to get them now! Planning on farming a few.
I’d imagine you can use this to replicate the ship you earn from the expedition for its parts infinitely, assuming it’s the ship you had equipped by the end of the expedition.
@@ScottishRod i did not know you can start expeditions from your main... I have been using friends to transfer all the goods to my main save for EVERY expidition. Wish I knew this sooner...
Just to confirm... you don't lose anything from your main save if you start a new expedition from the kiosk on the anomaly? I have never seen that kiosk before. Must be new.

So, about the Hauler wings. I finished the expedition with Iron Vulture as my active ship. Could it be that i can make a copy of the ship with nanites, scrap it, and then claim it from quicksilver vendor to have it in my collection? Much love
I haven’t done that but someone mentioned they did that and got several Vultures
There is a way of getting parts without actualy scrapping, believe content creator hero2u found it, it 100% works at the moment but be quick, i got a full set of parts this way
Yes you absolutely can and make you own custom vulture with the new paintjobs if done at the right station you can even get it 4 sqaure supercharged

If i only played 3 hours on my first save and then just started an expedition and completed can i still transfer items as you did in the video and is it even worth it? I presume i xan get those colours for self made ships if i had any oarts right?
The rewards are across all saves. I have quite a few saves so I would delete expedition saves after I played it before this new feature.
I feel it’s worth it, all the nanites and quicksilver at the end aren’t wasted anymore.
The wings on the Iron Vulture (from the trailer) have some blue lights/glow on the rotors. Was this only visible on the expedition?
It's there but hard to see unless you push the camera to get the angle. :-)

Yeah in the trailer the wings had a really nice blue glow. Wish they kept it in instead of removing it.
So I’ve already started a new expedition. Am i still allowed to transfer some stuff to my already created expedition or do i need to start a new expedition?
You need to use the Anomaly Kiosk to transfer stuff but you’ll get all the rewards across all saves at the end whatever way you start.
I can't finish this expedition . everytime i tryto getto ren 4 which is next for me. Its not there in the galaxy map. I follow the expedition path and it ends in some planet that's not marked as rendevous and its just not there!!!!!! I have tried for 3 days now
I thought the patch fixed that, are you still having issues?
You are doing it wrong. Had the same "bug" but it's only visual.
Same. I had to go trace back to rendezvous 1. Was pretty close from there
what happens if I don't transfer the items to my normal save?
If it's another save you can leave it with the quicksilver merchant and pick it up anytime you want.
If you started the expedition through the kiosk if you don't claim them the expedition won't end until it goes away.

@@trentdarrenwyborn9055 If you make it your primary ship then possibly yes (Issues aside) but I would always take note of glyph addresses for future reference.
@ScottishRod I just want to keep my inventory items and ships and obviously the inventory upgrade items I haven't spent sad you get forced to upgrade the multitool instead of being able to save it as a class upgrade item which would be great
Do you have the golden vector, if you do could you do the trade glitch thing with me, I would really appreciate it as most of the people that offer want money, thanks if you do (this question also applies to anyone seeing this that has the golden vector)
It's a bit difficult at the moment on console but there's a few Facebook groups and streamers where people give them away for free.
