Believe it or not, he does have some up-tempo songs, some of the best being, "Should've Known Better", "Don't Mean Nothing", and "Satisfied". Richard got his start as a teenager, with the help of his mom, who worked for a record company, landing some back-up singing work on albums by singers like Lionel Richie and Madonna. His first album was released in 1987, when he was only 23, and it was huge. He has an impressive body of work, including both his solo work and songs he has written and produced for other artists.

Richard marx is definetly one of the best singer song writer of all time. The King of ballad songs. He is still performing and making Great new music. He is absolutly fantastic live. His list of hit songs are like endless summer nights. One of my personal favorite song is called ready to fly.

It took all my willpower not to belt out Endless Summer Nights in the office 🤣... God this song!!!
1988-89 were all about Richard Marx, I even had his poster on my wall and I still remember the snakeskin boots and that hair.
Great reaction; it was a mellow set of songs... for some more uptempo songs you can try Don't Mean Nothing, and Should've Known Better.

In case you didn’t know, not only was Richard Marx a huge hit maker and musician, he’s also responsible for writing “This i Promise You” for NSync and “To Where you Are” for Josh Groban, among many others.
His generation ran, so theirs could walk.
EDIT: And got married to Daisy Fuentes!

In my teen days of the 80's, such a crush on Richard Marx. Love his music, Him & Prince were my favorite male singers from that decade. I enjoy these set of four videos reaction. Sometimes is my first time watching videos from various artists. I think a part two for Cyndi Lauper, who's my favorite female singer from the 80's, but 90's & beyond from her discography. Many great songs from Cyndi in the 90's like That's What i think, The World Is stone, You Don't Know & love her #1 Dance hit Into The Nightlife from 2008. Live performances video set from Cyndi, When You Were Mine 1985 AMA performance is one of her best live performances.

Love Richard Marx. As I'm sure I said before I've seen him live in an acoustic show with just a piano and a guitar and he is stunningly gifted. His voice is amazing. Your faves are my faves too. I think 'Hazard' was developed into a TV movie but I'm not sure. Such a fascinating, haunting story. Oh, and he and Luther Vandross (my fave male vocalist and someone you must discover ) were very close friends and writing/producing partners. Take a look. You will love Luther, I promise.

I had so many crushes during the 80s that had Richard Marx songs associated with them.
    - Right Here Waiting was a big hit during the invasion of Kuwait/first Iraq war, soldiers and spouses were dedicating the song to one another.
    - Hold onto the Nights - this was a song I imagined was related to a crush I had on a girl who was with another guy... another classic Marx tune.
    - Hazard - Richard Marx has said this was just a fictional song. He knew it would play well on MTV for the video aspect, I am sure.
    - Endless Summer Nights - Another crush song about same woman as above, just earlier in the summer. This song would have gone #1 except that Michael Jackson was holding the number one song strongly that week in 1987/88

You might also like the Richard Marx songs "Don't Mean Nothing" (No. 3 pop song ... dare I say that he rocks out on this one ... as much as he is possible of doing anyway! :-) ) and "Now and Forever" (No. 7, another pretty ballad ... and he has cut his mane of hair to a shorter '90s look.:-) ) and "Keep Coming Back" (No. 12 ... this one might remind you some of George Michael, too).

You pointed out Richard Marx sounded like George Michael as he reacted to "Hazard." The second you said that I knew exactly what Hazard sounded like... George Michael's "Hand to Mouth". And maybe that's what I like Hazard because it's basically a slower and not as good version of Hand to Mouth. Not gonna lie... I'm not feeling Richard Marx now. He basically stole George Michael's song.
Oh, btw, keep up with your reactions. I appreciate your channel.
