I use the 30-30 pretty often in place of the 243, guess I just got used to aiming at 200+ meters 😂
It's just not that strong of a rifle...
@@LadyLegendXO unlike its irl brother sadly however i love the gun in game as im a brush hunter so it works perfect for me
They made .30-30 a tad weak. I have an old repeater in .30-30 that has been in my family for years and has killed Moose in Quebec and New York, Black bear in Pennsylvania, and stopped a charging bull in its tracks. (someone let it loose and it attacked me on the side of the road on the way back from a hunting trip.)
I think it’s weak too.
I am new to this game and got my fist diamond with this gun this week it was a reindeer. And i like this lever action mostly because i am a fan of the wild west weapons.

I use 30-30 alot with the soft points imo it's one of the best all around guns on the game. I don't really like the hollow points much at all but the soft points really bring this gun to life

I agree, with the soft points it's actually pretty good on like 2-5 class animals
I am using the 30-30 and the 45-70 a lot right now with the render bug in effect as I am hunting much closer to the animals and the two rifles cover all classes in game except class one animals. Under normal circumstances without the render bug I regularly take 250m-350m shots and don't use these rifles.

Coyotes on Layton are my favorite prey and the Whitlock does 'em nicely out to 200 yards. I always load the .30-30 with soft points so you get double lung penetration on deer as well at least within 75 or so yards.
I honestly agree with your conclusion on the lever action! Beautiful looking but I don't think I would hunt with it

@@LadyLegendXO I have been digging the muzzleloader lately! I love the plume of smoke and only being able to get one shot so you have to make it count

Good video, I used it a fair bit but you are better off with the 243 for better range, But I do love using the pump action shotgun the caciatore with slugs to smash herds with and fast to shoot!

Imo the best weapojs for whitetail deer are the olson 308, and the moradi model 44mag

I know that the hollow points don't have a lot of penetration but the soft points have the same penetration as the 270 polymer tips but 1 less knock down power but the only difference between the 6.5 is that it has 40 penetration with the polymer tip but the same number for mushrooming out so in some way they're are pretty much on the same level besides that the 30-30 is made for getting through brush and I enjoyed the video I used all of them an the 45-70 has the same thing going for it as the 30-30 because they made to get through brush unlike some faster calibers in the game I only know because I'm speaking from experience on PC and console and in reality but as everyone knows the stats are different in reality than in a video game
It was one of my first time using the 45-70. I did really enjoy it. A lot more than the 30-30. You definitely know your ammo! Thx for watching!

Actually in that same area you killed those sika deer I got my first sika deer kill there at that spot. My first was a uncommon colored diamond sika deer. He was huge! I got him with a British 303. Could you do a video on 30.30 vs 243? Which one is better?

Is the Helios the only scope you can use?, I've tried all other and they're not compatible.
On the 3030 - yes
I have started using the 6.5 or other rifles for deer and i have my .300 for anything else
