I would try and swap the glass for clear plastic, but that is a great idea mate. 👍🏻 all the best, Tel 😊🙏🏻😊

Yeah, I'm only using what I've got, just got to be careful. The glass is from a front of a large plant vivarium I dismantled so not normal glass.

Great update👍😊. Brilliant idea with the viewing glass👍🥇The pond balls look like a great idea, do they ever blow off? Do you have to half fill them with water or do they have holes in them?. Take care and stay safe 👍🈲🐟😊

Never blow off as these are the high end 4" ones. Yes, 4 marble size holes so half of the ball is submerged, top half air.

hi I'm just interested do the pond balls work as good or better that any other heat protection covers you have used in the past?

Hi, I've never covered before, these balls are half air and keep the windchill factor off. Would be better if the pond was enclosed on all sides with clear polycarbonate or on top of the pond with a frame. Cheers
