  • Laser cleaning with help of the phenomenon of laser ablation is a completely safe process for the base material. This means that ablation only works on the surface of the object while cleaning a material. It removes unwanted coatings with an absolute minimum of interference with the material. The level of ablation can be easily changed and adjusted. This is the reason why, thanks to laser cleaning, we are able to achieve an incomparably better result than when using traditional methods.
    Traditional methods such as chemical cleaning and all kinds of grinding- or sanding technologies carry the risk of damaging the surface being cleaned, for example damage to details etc.
    Contrary to alternative cleaning methods, laser ablation allows you to control the thickness of the removed layer of contaminants, so you can get a refreshing effect, instead of novelty. This result is desirable among monument conservators. Our laser cleaning service is extremely clean compared to alternative methods. Thanks to this, it is successfully used in city centers and places where chemicals or abrasive methods are impossible to use.
    - CLEANING OF ALL TYPES OF SURFACES
    - SANDSTONE, BRICK, STONE, PLASTER, WOOD, GRANITE, MARBLE, TERRAZZO
    - RESTORATION OF SCULPTURES AND BAS-RELIEFS, ENTRANCE PORTALS, EPITAPHS, WINDOWS, DOORS, ETC.
    - CLEANING AND REVEALING PAINTED POLYCHROMES
    Mechanical or chemical cleaning methods usually involve contact of the abrasive or other substances with the surface. This can lead to damages, especially while cleaning delicate materials. In addition abrasive methods or e.g. pressurized water can increase the porosity of the parent surface and contribute to a faster return of dirt. Cleaning with the use of chemicals in addition to the obvious aspect of environmental damage, carries the risk of discoloration of the surface and adversely affects the material.
    BLASTING
    ADVANTAGES: HIGH EFFICENCY;
    DISADVANTAGES: IT IS EASY TO DAMAGE THE CLEANED MATERIAL, THERE IS A LOT OF WASTE, HIGH CLEANING COSTS, IT TAKES A LONG TIME TO SECURE THE WORKPLACE
    DRY ICE CLEANING
    ADVANTAGES: HIGH EFFICIENCY;
    DISADVANTAGES: HIGH COST OF ABRASIVE, DIFFICULT TO AUTOMATE THE PROCESS
    CHEMICAL CLEANING
    ADVANTAGES: HIGH EFFICIENCY;
    DISADVANTAGES: HIGH IMPACT ON THE MATERIAL, HUGE POLLUTION, HIGH CLEANING COSTS
    When using a laser, these problems do not arise, because the removal of layers takes place using the so-called phenomenon of laser ablation. Simply put, this phenomenon can be defined as the evaporation process of impurities using a laser pulse - from almost any surface - including metal alloys, composites, ceramics and even paper.
    With the right choice of power density, impurities can be safely and precisely removed from almost all surfaces. The result of the laser beam's contact with the surface is the energy exchange between the used laser light and the cleaned material. As a result of irradiation of the surface of materials with a laser pulse of appropriate energy density, various types of layers are evaporated. In the event of heavy pollution, dust is formed which is sucked into the absorber through suction cups connected to the laser head. There is practically no impact on the environment. In addition to normal electricity, we do not need any additional materials such as a compressor, sand, dry ice, diesel or chemicals. There is also no waste, which is typical to traditional methods.
    - NO CONSUMPTION OF ANY ABRASIVE MATERIALS, NO CHEMICAL POLLUTION, NO NOISE, HIGH ENERGY SAVING
    - NON-CONTACT METHOD, WITHOUT THE RISK OF DAMAGING THE CELANED MATERIAL
    - MOBILITY THAT ALLOWS CLEANING OF HARD TO REACH PLACES
    -HIGH CLEANING PRECISION, EASY PROCESS REPEATABILITY, HIGH WORK HYGIENE
    -LOW OVERALL CLEANING COSTS COMPARED TO OTHER TECHNOLOGIES
