"What a perfect segway, I'm awesome." This guys is probably the most embarrassing dad and I love it.
I wouldn’t mind if he was my dad.
goofy dad bde
Holla!
Dude you nailed it 😂👌😎
If only more dealerships did reviews like this....Great job Jeff!
As I am in the market for one of these next year, this was a real good explanation between the different models. Love it! Thanks for this!!
thanks for doing this very informative side by side comparo, has helped me learn about the different models.
lol, this guy has the most entertaining cringe on CZcams
Aaron Woodwell hahahahaha thanks Aaron! I try to entertain and educate at the same time. But yeah the cringe factor can be high....hard to shut it off lol....please stick around and comment on my channel videos whenever you want! Jeff
I kinda love this goofy bastard
Nicholas MacDonald hahaa thanks! Yeah I’m a little out of my mind!!! Thanks for watching and supporting my channel. Feel free to suggest any video ideas you ever have because I love suggestions...jeff
Nicholas MacDonald my next video is walk around of Tacoma TRD sport
I’m in love with the TRD offroad
More reliable than any American made truck.
Both my Toyota trucks are American made. I've owned Chevy, GMC and dodge trucks as well.
The Truth it’s made in Canada 🇨🇦
They are engineered and designed by Toyota. The Americans simply manufacture and assemble the product. HUGE DIFFERENCE. Huge reason why Toyota/Lexus is one of the most reliable vehicles in the world. Come on guys do your research. Americans just slap the parts together and press buttons on a machine
@@CommonSenseIsntTooCommon finally someone with a brain.
The Truth auctaully 70 percent of the parts are made here in america but they do suport americans witch i support them but i prefer ford i have never had anything needed to be replaced really but i dont know why you think american vichles are bad there the same as anything els personally i hsvent had any problems but buying american vichles do suport america a little bit more other then foreign brands because the big guy that make all the money from ford spend it in america and japanese big boys spend all of it in japan so either way the american brand ushually will suport america a little bit more but either way its watever there good little trucks and get the job done and thats all that matters
You had me at "interminent" wipers.
Great review and your humor is spot on. Thank you! I live in Raleigh and will be looking you up when I’m ready to look at a new taco!
Thanks for taking the time to make this vid, very informative!
Excellent in depth review i can tell you love what you do definitely what future toyota owners were looking for in a video
Thank you. Good quick overview of all levels and differences!
Really great video Jeff. I have been waiting years to pay off my wifes Avalon so I could get my Tacoma. First of the year and I am bringing it home. I live in the Northwest, (Seattle) and these trucks are very popular here. Toyota Corp needs to send you on the road as a spokesman.
Thank you for this video. It helped learn me a few things! I've been looking for a Tacoma for 2yrs now and this helped me realize what made some catch my eyes and not others! Thanks again.
love my tacoma. would love to see toyota work with cummins deisel engines would be a phenominal duo
VERY HELPFUL, thank you for showing us all the differences.
I got the 2019 sr5 XP package with the rockstar wheels and running boards. Love this thing
If they a Jazz Trio XP pkg ... I'm in!.......
Great video !! Made me decide what trim I wanted before I went to the dealership.
loved the preview, wish I would have found you before I bought my 2019 Tacoma year and half ago - and yes you are awesome!
Most informative video. Thank you, it has helped me on which one I want.
Thanks Jeff. You really make these videos entertaining yet informative
Good just man, keep up the energy. I love the video
TRD. Great vid lots of info, well done. Good zoom ins on features.
Thanks Jeff I have been looking at Tacoma spoke to a very knowledgeable sales lady but you helped me decide
I picked up a SR 4x4 V6 2019 for 31k in Miami yesterday. Great review man, it helped me a lot
You still own it?
I wished I lived close to your dealership to get my Tacoma from you- awesome presentation '
Nice Jeff good Job I like how you add in the little hip hop keeps the audience interested cool man
Purchased a 2019 TSS off-road and I am loving it! Doesn’t have 4x4 but surprisingly still gets out of iffy situations... so far 🤣
Very informative video, you really detailed all the difference nicely. I was thinking about buying a mini van, but now I’m thinking about getting the Tacoma, much better deal.
I'm currently leasing two vehicles that terms will end in a few months. Your videos are helping me decide on which direction to go. Thank you for posting.
I'm glad I can help Derrick! It's nice to know I'm making a difference in this impersonal internet haha....jeff
Great video! Giving it a thumbs up for entertainment alone. Few things to mention is that the some of the models have an outlet in the bed, some dont. Also, sunroof in Pro, and maybe limited. Kind of wished you mentioned what a tech package means on a Sport and Off-Road, as well. I already know, I have me a 2019 Off Road Tech package and loving the heck out of it!
I like ur style of reviewing cars very unique
Your videos are great! Helped me decide on my first Tacoma.
Hey Toyotajeff!
I want to thank you for all these videos that you are making for us. They are easy to watch and understand. You don't forget details about each trim level. You are doing a great job!
Now I think I know almost everything about Toyota Corolla and Camry.
I'm wondering if you are willing to make video about Toyota Prius(all models, trim levels, packages) ?
And Again: Thank you very much for your videos. You make them very interesting and funny. A++++++
Thanks Kenesary for the compliments! A huge compliment! It takes a LOT of work to do the trim comparisons, but it's all worth it. I'll do a Prius comparison in the next month, as long as I can get all the trim levels on my lot at the same time haha....One thing you can do for me is to make sure you watch some of the ads all the way through that play before my videos...or after them...or click on the ads that play during. That's how I get financial love from CZcams and its partners.............thanks again so much for your support! Look for the Prius video in the next few weeks...jeff
I'm looking into an sr5 v6 4x2 and after test driving it today and watching this, I think I'm sold
Your awesome Jeff. Thanks for the info helps a lot.
You're
And the winner is TRD Off-Road all around! Gives best of all trims for a reasonable price.
Love the Off-Road! Jeff
@@Toyotajeff same here, sir. That's why I went with 2017 TRD Off-Road with premium package. It's got everything what Pro has except Pro skid plate and FOX shocks. However, with the amount of money that I was able to save with going with Off-Road trim (almost $7K) over Pro I can get whole lot more than just Pro skid plate and FOX shocks. When I was getting my Off-road dealership was asking $45,xxx for Pro whereas my Off-Road with premium package cost $39,xxx. Pro is good, but not as much for that price what Toyota is asking. In my opinion, Off-Road trim is the way to go.
I was contemplating which one I wanted for about 2 months. Finally just went and got an off road and I couldn't be happier.
@@SOBIsHobbies even if they let you get it for $45k there just going to jack the price up some where else...
Kong Lee I got my 18 off-road for 38, 36 out the door since I told them to take off the factory running boards and bed cover. Mine also isn’t the premium. But I didn’t want the premium since I don’t like leather seats or sun roof. Do wish I got the factory JBL speakers and painted rear bumpers.
Love my 2019 Black Tacoma SR5 2.7 Quad cab ❤️
Thanks Jeff! This video was helpful. I got the Limited!
I have a trd sport I love it! Changed the speakers to alpines type r, steps, exhaust, trd pro grill, and I’m just waiting to add the off road tires 👍🏽
I also got the sport. Are you in Canada?
I also got the sport has pro grill exhaust I love it
Remember when trucks were more bed and less cab? Pepperidge farm remembers. Now a days most truck beds are squeaky clean. More of a statement then a necessity.
In my city at least it’s a 50/50. I drive a Silverado for work, haul paint and construction material, haul trailers, carry my tools. I want a Tacoma now because I like to go shooting, camping, hiking, etc and a truck will support me through all of that. And that’s what I’ve noticed from my community as well, better have it and not need it than need it and not have it type of deal
Great description!!!!!..... Thank you Jeff.....
Recently got a 3rd gen TRD Off Road 6 speed and I Love it! 😍
You get a like for the snoop dog reference
Excellent! Please keep watching! Jeff
@@Toyotajeff That reference gave you two likes now lol
@@Toyotajeff That reference gave you three likes now
A little late to the party but here, take this 4th like. 👍🏾
Immediately press thumbs up after that one. Then proceeded to the comments to see who else liked it. hahaa
Just got hired at a Toyota dealership here in Missouri. Your videos really helped me gain more knowledge about the Toyota product! Thank you Jeff! Let's see a Supra video soon ;)
The TRD pro in that awesome blue color
Huge thanks. If you were in DFW I would have bought from you immediately
Excellent presentation. Helped a lot..
Great video. Exactly what I was looking for.
My hay wants the trd s, but v6 4x4 sr5 it’s probably a bitter fit
The exact video I was looking for !
Intermittent wipes is a big deal. Your the only reviewer I have seen to mention this. Good job 👍🏻
Good Sunday morning Jeff! The SR 5 and the Limited models would be my 2 preferences! Maybe in that new Blue color down on the far end. V6 without question! Embedded navigation and SiriusXM, I do like the available Leather in the Limited model! Sunroof would be nice! Hope I covered at least 90 percent of my preferred options! Enjoy your weekend! From rainy Iowa... I remain Mark in Iowa.
Hey Mark! I'd love working with you, because I know you'd come to me prepared knowing just what you want. It would be easy to find your vehicle! With that being said......NC ROAD TRIP!! jeff
Great Job! Just a comment, there's no excuse for not having intermittent wipers! Vehicles as far back as 1973, had intermittent wipers.. probably even before that. That's the earliest I specifically remember. I bought a 2019 SR, 4dr, with a Protection Package.. had the Predator step rails. Nice truck. One thing I highly recommend is installing sound deadening. I did the 4 doors, and back wall. It dropped the cab noise level, by 7db. I was able to drop the stereo volume substantially, because it wasn't battling road noise. You can have a conversation like sitting in your living room. And that's on higher noise rural roads. Love my Tacoma!
Good info and even better dad jokes. Planning on getting an 18 TRD Pro or maybe a Grand Cherokee Overland after this deployment
Awesome help! Thanks buddy !
Great job explaining all
Great funny review! Sr5 is on my list
Very informative video. Does the TRD Sport or Pro come with the option of the longer bed?
This is an excellent comparison video.
Researching a new truck after driving a 93 4Runner and a 2000 f250 i can’t get over how cool the automatic high beams are. Freakin awesome. Hahaha it’s the little things that make me happy.
Nice info. TRD Sport or Limited for me.👍🏼
Really great comparison video. I looking t get a Tacoma to replace my Jeep Liberty 4x4. Probably get an SR5 v6 4x4. One question since this will be my first new vehicle and I need to save money but don't want to give up too much. Can I get heated power mirrors and heated seats in the SR5?
When they refresh this truck, they should add cooled seats, put in an 8 speed automatic from the land cruiser, add LED headlights, and upgrade the v6 to have the same power as the new camry
What you do sir, it is truly an art form.
Hey beavis if we get the trd pro we will finally score
i like the sport 4x4 and the pro wait aaah man i have to watch it again now
It’s 2024 and I’m shopping for used 4x4 tacomas. This is perfect. Thank you!🙏🏽 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Awesome review video! Thank you!!
Nice truck, I had a earlier version which I bought new in 1995. However after all these years, where are the rear disc brakes?
Guy reminds me of ants in my eyes Johnson. Good review 👍
Terrific. Limited All the Way! Love the up front honesty in pricing. Worth it.
Subbed!😄Great channel I enjoy it very much.
Nice video wow the best . Could you do the same with the 4Runner!?
Sweet video and humorous
Nice video. I still love my 05 long bed double cab. Would like to find a stereo compatible with the jbl factory amp that has gps & gets the sirus radio. Let me know if there's one out there. The ones I looked at on ebay all say not compatible with the jbl amplifer.
Enjoyed this video, well did for the guy just getting into the Toyota thing. Still trying to figure out how the long bed is featured? Only certain models?
I bought a used 2018 tacoma sport 4x4 fully loaded estended cab long box Inferno Orange with 107km on it. I love it and get lots of compliments ;).
If you thinking of getting a new Toyota Tacoma this guy explains this good. I think you pay way to much on the TRD model for the extra features the SR are great if you use it as a work truck only, the SR5 v6 4x4 witch I got is the best one for what I use it for. And if you got money to burn the TRD sport, pro, and unlimited is for you. Rule of thumb just get the one that suits your needs.
LOVE your comparing. Professional and down to topic. Thanks. But, could you please invest in a clip-on microphone
I think I like the sport. Great video.
I got the Limited cement grey with the chrome accents, so mine doesn't look like everyone else that's going for the blackout look. I don't do offroading and don't like the hood vent that doesn't serve a functional purpose. But instead it has the TRD Pro intake & exhaust, plus TRD Pro satin black wheels for that hybrid look. I haven't seen any other Tacoma's that look like mine. Soon it will have red TRD brake kit on it.
Very , well done video!
Awesome video.
Can you please do the same for the 2020 when available?
He will! He always makes an excess of videos on every model
Thank you for this!
Great video! Thanks
thanks man appreciate this a lot
I got the 17 trd off road 4x4 love it
So helpful!!! thank you
hey Jeff, great video. I'm in the market to buy a Tacoma and have just begun my search last weekend. I'm leaning towards the TRD Off road. Do the 2019 Off roads have the push button ignition? It appears that the Tacomas retain their value as far as resale. thanks!
Good stuff man thanks
I'm getting a limited but I want to add the hood scoop on it if that's possible I like my trucks loaded
This dude is awesome 👏
Doing great work right here. Off road is what my pockets allow me to own.
Chris G Thanks man! Enjoy your weekend! Jeff
the TRD Pro is my dream truck
Me to but only a dream.
I got one. I’m gonna be trading to an off-road soon so i can mod it 😈
just bought my TRDPRO black yesterday 😍
@@tkOferOz so what
Great video man
Bought a 2018 TRD sport 4x4 it will mostly just see the winter snow here. Thankfully they don't salt the roads here. Silver sky color double cab paid $33,105
Not bad I'm looking at the trd sport 2wd was quoted 33K in cavalry blue
Yep same truck $33,700.00 6' bed
Toyotajeff made me love Toyotas again lol
very informative. thanks. hate the black over-fenders
I paid 33k for my 2016 TRD Sport Double Cab V6 Manual 4x4. Looks like the prices went up and only thing I see different is power sliding rear window and a sensor on the front grille. Power sliding rear window would be nice, but not a game changer. I have no idea what the front sensor does but my truck is fine without it. Toyota should offer less tech options and more options like lift kits, AT tires, lockers, superchargers, and maybe a diesel w/manual.
Chris prices on trucks are reflected by the crude oil market. The higher gas prices are, the cheaper trucks will get.
@@kroozctrl6284 I respectfully disagree. While the market for crude is one of very many factors to the US auto market, it does not have a direct correlation. If the price of crude increases, it does not make it cheaper to manufacture a truck. There is a somewhat complex correlation between crude and steel, however I would argue that labor and R&D for safety, technology, and emissions is a larger portion of the cost to produce a truck.
Chris my work customer says other wise just saying. That customer is solar turbines. And they are ramping up next year. And based on the pattern and working relation of my current company, there is a huge correlation factor. My company has had a manufacturing relation with them for over 25 years.
@@kroozctrl6284 An increase in the price of crude could trigger a reduction in automotive sales. At which point automotive manufacturers are likely to respond with "rebates" to supplement sales. However, an increase in crude simply does not result in a decrease in the raw materials to manufacture an automobile. Therefore, any "savings" on the purchase of such automobile is likely the result of some form of quantitative easing, not the overall reduction in cost to manufacture such automobile.
I think at this point we can just agree to disagree. Nonetheless, I am glad to hear business is well and I wish you the best of luck with your future business endeavors.
Supercharger means more wear from boost on the engine completely nullifies the reliability toyota is aiming for with the taco.
Aye I used to live in Raleigh! I just decided on getting a Tacoma and find your video.. what are the chances
Access cab TRD Sport 4x4 with a manual transmission.
