I've watched this and the Christmas video and you guys have great energy! The music overlay is a little overwhelming at times, like during your post game wrap up here, but the editing from board state to face cams is solid and non-jarring so... great job!

aww, it's sad seeing Yaroc not win being a deck i have. But i'm loving the prismatic bridge it opens so many way to play.
Gotta say tho the music at the end seemed a bit to loud and it really drowns Christian out, could be a mic issue as Wally was a fair bit clearer but with the sharp beat of the music it's trying hard to over power you both.

Ant was a boss guest too, shame to not see his enchantment commander make it into play as he had to keep dealing with the threat!
We will no doubt have Ant on again, it was such a shame he used all his resources to deal with me (Christian) and then naughty Tom put him down to 1 life! So I would have the put the nail in the coffin 😅

@27:25 why didn’t Tom attach swiftfoot boots to Yarok to give him haste and swing for another 12 lifelink damage? Christian would have blocked it, but then taken the visionary damage and Tom would have gained the life.
That extra damage would have been crucial later as Tom would have taken Christian out on his first big swing, then could have taken out Wally before he went off.

I was in stitches when I realised how awful bounce lands are in that deck!
Night Soil was used incorrectly on multiple occasions, its two creatures from a SINGLE graveyard. You can't do one from your own and another from an opponent.

Hahaha this is my second episode and it’s the second episode where Tom has turn 1 sol ring and is declared the “threat” at the table!!! But I think we all know who the threat truly is…don’t we…Christian 😜😜😜🤣🤣🤣???!!!
Christian is ALWAYS the threat! Tom loves a turn 1 sol ring! You can always count on him to start early with the politics too!
Well Christian you proved once again it doesn't matter what deck you play. You still have that fear factor. In the end as someone who loves landfall. Getting screwed on lands and still win the game. Yes the good guy won.
Hahah I (Christian) am always the threat. I don't mind so much, I see it as a compliment and I play commander mainly for fun.

Great game. Sorry Christian, but I’m on team Tom, you’re always the threat! Your groups politics remind me of our home games, always see the other guy’s potential as the threat. Knew single creature deck would have trouble in your meta, it was to easy to chip in for one or two damage with no blockers. Love your channel, please more commander play!

I will vow to make my value combo deck work at some stage. A friend from justplay was unfortunate to loose on turn 5 with the deck. I'll have better luck next time

Love seeing a Farseek for a plains then a fetch land for Sacred Foundry shocking in. Bold to just throw away 2 life for no reason. Definitely I have done that before as well.

Slimefoot can get pretty bonkers with more drain effects and infect. I run with a bit of proliferation support and spore counters.
Would be interested to see your deck list! I dropped a lot of the spore counters stuff as it was just a bit too slow for me, my decklist is in the description if you are interested 🍄🍄
I love seeing niche tribal decks do so well. Don’t need to see another vampire deck steamroll, more fungi!
The Slimefoot deck has a special place in my heart as my first deck! Amazing how cheap it was at the start and now the cards have gone up so much! I remember buying Pitiless Plunderer for pennies!

How many and what tokens did he use for the slime foot deck??
I have loads of saproling tokens, if you go onto the moxfield decklist in the description it should show you what other tokens you need. Hope this helps!

@@TheChadMagic oh yeah, it's not supposed to be a criticism, just pointing out things for the future. It's always easier to spot things on vids where you can go back and double check things. If I had a £1 for the amount of times I miss triggers, or get excited about a play but end up missing a crucial piece or sequence I'd still be broke as I'd have bought more cards 🤣

Bounce land and Yarok NOMBO!!!
Yes and no - outside the infinite combos, so much of Yarok is about landfall but you tend to run out of lands later in the game. Bounce lands give you so many more possible landfall triggers if you’re trying to win by a more conventional route because you’ll basically always have lands to play (having a Burgeoning out is a massive bonus to this strategy, too). And they can even give you more mana if you have an Exploration-type effect in play. That’s been my experience, anyway.
Good game. Several errors in the gameplay were made though.
