The level of detail it's jaw dropping. You can literally hear the clicking noises when you see him.
Well not LITERALLY
If you can LITERALLY hear clicking noises, you should see a doctor
@@ytuser4562 Its a metaphor...
Actually, there are clicking noises played over the glamour shots, so technically...
@@HollywoodWick3d hmmm... in a wayyyyyyy...
Me before trying sculpting: "Dang, Adam has a lot of talent"
Me after trying sculpting: *"Holy crap, the guy is a legend"*
My art class made me try sculpting, this man is truly a legend.
That's an understatement
@@anonymousanomaly3136Yes, Absolutely
I agree I’ve tried sculpting and it never went well
Yall got the guts to try? Dang I would have just watched- i don't sculpt but dang,-
Adam is like Bob Ross if he sculpted with clay and he liked to discomfort us as much as possible
Anti-Bob Ross, wants viewers to be uncomfortable, and is a sculptor not painter
Yet he sounds like the guy who would donate his entire bank savings to a children's hospital
@@arsonbasedpotato i feel like bob ross probally dabbled in sculpting once or twice
I just love how accurate the fungus looks. It looks exactly how cordyceps is a bit pudgy on the top, but given with that light transition from light to dark orange throughout the structure of the mushroom makes it look so AWESOME. Great job, Adam!
“Aggressively floppy parkour” is probably my favorite line of yours of all time 😂😂😂 and the perfect description of Zombie movement
Time stamp for funnies?
@@dragoncat2616 if you still need it 3:22
This literally made me spit my coffee.. a grave offensive waste of coffee in my home… but I totally agree. I nearly choked to death when he said that!
you're like the meatcanyon of sculpting, great work!
This is an unbelievably accurate assessment of this channel and I love it
Eyyy
yo wussup gorilla tag guy
great analogy..
I know both of them absolutely crack me up.
he is
Ok, just started the video and I'd like to say your voice isn't weird, it's actually pretty soothing. I'm always stressed after work, but your voice and humor help me relax and unwind.
As a professional painter, no - wet on wet blending really do be magical like that. It's harder to control, but if control isn't high up on the priority list, then it's bloody ideal.
No matter what or who lets me down in life, i can Always rely on adam to give his models an Absolute Dumptruck of an ass, bless you for always coming through with the cake man
That Clicker had NO business having an entire bakery strapped to its back.
“ our bones are mostly keep together with muscles and undigested dog hair-“
I can’t even explain how much this got me.
It should not have gotten me as bad as it did.
Now I'm picturing a bunch of clickers in tuxedos at a royal wedding
This channel is what I imagine Lets game it out would be like as an arts and crafts channel.
HA, YES
This sculpture is so terrifying, I can just hear the clicking noise! It’s an amazing work of art! Good job Adam! Also, as a request, I would love to see your version of a realistic Photoshop Flowey! His terrifying appearance and disturbing anatomy would be insane in your style! Edit: Wow, I’m famous! Thanks guys!
BUT WHAT ABOUT HIM RUINING CHILDHOODS BY MAKING STUFF CREEPY!?!?
I totally agree, it is interesting to see artists do something that takes their usual twist as something the character/piece/work already does
@@MatoranLoreMaster Why not take an already messed up thing and make it even more disturbing?
Dear lord, that would be terrifying.
DO IT.
*evil flowey cackle*
i've got a question for ya. do you wanna have a bad time? 'cause if you do, you won't make a photoshop flowey and sans the skeleton model
Not sure why, but this one went by really fast, much faster than usual. The actual video length is about the same, but it just felt a lot shorter, not good or bad, just very interesting.
Related but separate, I think this one is one of your best in terms of realism and detail! Great work and even more impressive improvement!
i agree
" our bones are mostly kept together by muscles and undigested dog hair, wile his are kept by super glue and wires " -that sentence got me laughing so hard that i just couldn't
It amazes me how the clicker sounds, years later, still induce fear into my soul.
Day 11 of asking for sans and papyrus but anatomically correct
Actually an idea I'd love to see lmao
that’s actually a good idea. Keep this comment on the top!
Seconded
Omg that...that could be amazing.
For some reason this comment is a bit hard to find despite the amounts of upvotes
Two things that immediately come to mind: 1) I LOVE the way this entire tiny nerdy thing turned out. The concrete was absolutely on point and I love the way that you did it… itchy balls and all. 2) That intro to the glamour shots was TERRIFYING and perfect. Damn I wish I was as good at this as you are. Bravo.
I honestly didn't expect to hear the Joel clicker death audio in this video, it lowkey stunned me ngl-
It’s crazy how quickly these sculptures come together
Clickers are definitely the scariest zombies of all in the game/series 😟 looks so cool!
what about the minecraft sompee they ar so sacry
The Rat King from Part II haunts my nightmares 😥 That thing is so scary!
The zombies and hammer haunts of Thief the Dark Project will forever be the scariest undead enemies for me. Zombies can't even be killed with mundane weapons, and the haunts are so fast and aggressive!
Ikr also I hate it when runners and clickers are together the runners always see me
@@JurassicFanatic nah fr, if they don’t bring the same energy in pt 3 I’m storming the naughty dog studio.
Hi Adam! Thanks for inspiring me to start sculpting its going very well. I started around Christmas.
Nice!!😄
If you don't mind i think it'd be interesting to show your progres
@@joshuasplural yeah I have an account that you could follow if you want. It’s made_of_meat_and_bone (CZcams wont let me say the social media name for some reason and keeps deleting this comment) the social media it’s on starts with an “I” and ends with “gram” there’s you’re hint 👍
@@ghost.and.gills. gotcha, thanks
Nice mate, I’ve thought of doing the same thing!
The amount of effort that is put in this is amazing
I find the sculpture "I made Mario and Peach, but Luigi is a Zombie" very creative and different. In particular, the use of a zombie theme for the character Luigi has created a unique and attractive product. I like it very much!
The fact that this is making nauseous while looking at it is proof that your work is outstanding. Phenomenal job, Adam
As a Dutch guy, it makes my insides all happy that you mentioned Hieronymus Bosch:D He and I share the same birthplace, and the same love of absurdity in art
I am not Dutch, but I was excited to hear his name, too!
As a Brazilian and Bosch is cool.
An artist for the whole family.
I. Dutch too
Am I the only one that thought of the tv detective before the artist?! 😂
I'm Danish but I was excited too, as he's my favourite artist. Crazy to think his art is 500 years old, way ahead of his time
This is the most disgustingly beautiful thing that i've ever seen. I love it.
If I can get my hands on a spicy fire flower I can definitely survive longer than a day
The narration this week was top notch - had me in stitches more than once
Hey North of the Border, no clue if you'll ever see this but your channel is genuinely in my top 5 CZcams channels of all time, keep doing what you do :)
Adam "Which looks pretty okay, which is high praise for most of my work."
Me watching this knowing I would never make anything nearly as good looking as this:
i really wanna see you make the most realistic human you can possibly make
Hey Adam, great video as usual. I can see you sometimes make things based on what's currently popular - obviously a smart strategy and definitely what I would do. But I hope you're also getting enjoyment out of this at this point. Sometimes when you take a hobby and turn it into a business, it stops being fun. Please don't be afraid to make whatever you think would be cool, we'll like it either way. Best wishes from Canada
He knows what to do. He certainly does NOT need a terrorist to tell him what to do. 🐖☪️💩
read the chapter titles. he's definitely having fun
He seems to do what he likes, so when a new thing is out that he likes he uses it. Hope that’s true.
The Clickers are definitely the best designed Zombies from any franchise imo, they are the perfect amount of unsettling👌 always wanted you to make a Zombie with the Last Of Us style and you absolutely smashed it Adam❤️🔥
Love your videos my friend👍
Fortnite zambies are spooktasticierestamored!
The "zombies" are actually called the infected. They are infected by a fungus.
I love looking at the detail of the clickers it's satisfying for me and this was super cool
i can never be off guard with these videos, i look down for a moment during glamour shots only to hear adam say "bukkake". thanks bestie.
I find your videos amazing. People don't realise how hard working with clay is and you make it look so easy. You've got some serious skills man! :)
I Will completely second this. He DOES make it look easy. So easy that I thought I would give it a try and I failed miserably. But, I’m hooked and determined to get better!
@@cariparkerr1_girl369 practice practice practice and have fun. :) Then you can look back in a few year and be like wow I've come so far! :) ❤️
This is amazing. Adam, you're a credit to polymer Clay artist's everywhere. Love this channel ❤️
I feel like an opportunity was missed to call this a "Shrooman".
My head associated Patrick Bateman with your voice, so that made it funnier, and strange. The beginning morning routine part of American Psycho fitted too well in my head.
It doesn't suck because it's nearly the game, shot for shot. And the game is amazing. And so are your videos. I love the commentary and obviously the sculptures...
I’m surprised you didn’t put the title as “I made Toad but realistic”
@@ranchchilli5753 that’s the joke
Hands and ankles are top notch sculpting work, the rest is squint quality though. Maybe a finer painting pass through, applying a proper base for ratting flesh, and more contrasting colors for details could make this piece pop.
Thanks for this! I am painting a clicker bust and despite being a superfan of the games and now show, I was really struggling with colors. Turns out I needed a lot more red!
I’d love to see a spooky cow plant from the sims 4!
Incredible work, these one’s always freaked me out the most. I’d hate to think if the person was still conscious inside…
I love the idea of using some brush hairs as fungal fluff! Looked really good and gnarly at the close ups ❤
1:49 when he said cortryseps I was literally dying on the floor laughing laughing
"It doesnt suck"??? IT'S FREAKIN AWESOME
JUST LIKE YOUR SCULPTURE
To be fair, it being a live action videogame adaptation that doesn’t suck is what is impressive.
There are a few now that don’t suck, but are animated (at least in part). Like Arcane, Castlevania, Sonic. I also heard good things about Detective Pikachu
Detective pikachu is awesome! I watched it in theaters
Don't think people consider those game adaptions because they are completely new stories. But agree that Arcane is amazing
@@Quzga well, sure. But that’s probably why they’re so good. They let themselves adapt the world to tell a story more fit for the medium (tv or film)
@@lucideandre Agreed, league of legend doesn't really have an actual story anyway but amazing art.
Other adaptions where they change a really solid story (resident evil, witcher) it always just becomes a mess.
But yea arcane and TLOU I would place as #1 game adaptions. Even tho we only got 2 ep so far..
It's just nice to see the main writer be closely involved in the adaptation, not sure why that's not more common.
Your the only person that makes me feel calm and want to make art stuff
The Clicker noises during the glamour shots gave me creepy, goosebumps and anxiety inducing flashbacks from playing the game LOL. Man that was a scary game, and an absolute blast to play.
"glamour" is really the right word here...
DON'T BE SORRY FOR YOUR VOICE MAN! you're voice is awesome and relaxing
As far as game adaptations go this one so far is a gem and holding pretty dang true to the source material, very well done so far and highly recommended for sure.
those mushrooms make me itch in places I don't think I'm supposed to.
Bro needs to open up his own museum at this point 🥲
I literally got this notification while me and my mom were talking about the last of us clickers, your timing is impeccable and brought joy to me and my mom once again
The Clicker came out so good, amazing details with all his little bumps and growths. I'll be curious to see if the Bloaters to come in the show will inspire you. Have you played the game before? Also I'm still hoping you'll do a Horizon Forbidden West project one day, since your Horizon Zero Dawn video was how I initially found your channel long ago. Keep up the amazing work!
Coming back to watch this as I make tiny clay beetles, absolutely my favorite video and the one I found you from
i think everyone had war flashbacks when you heard the clicker echolocation thing at the end
That was amazing! It reminded me of the creatures from the sweet home webtoon.
You should make one of those creatures next
This is actually amazing! What one of my favourites so far.
The thought of my bones being healed together by dog hair still haunts me to this day
Now I wanna see you do like a what-if Ellie wasn't immune? What would she look like as an Infected? That would be strangely interesting
I am always mind blown on how these sculptures come out looking I’m like a kid on Christmas day at the end of these videos keep it up you will always have my support 👍🏻
Your work is as good as the TV show. Thanks for making great content!
Never seen your videos before but I’m glad this popped up in my recommended. Your narration is super funny and you’ve got some mad skills. Kudos!
5:24 no, I also sculpt and teeth are just really fun to make, the more unsettling it is to others the more fun it is to make, like my (fake) human skin collection.
I swear you’re like spying on me and seeing what I like then making it ❤ keep up the good work
Now do a bloater
I love your content, and I love this clicker, man. I've tried doing a couple of clicker nails, I wish it would have turned out half as good as your art. Very good job!
I will never be able to comprehend how people are this artistic.
The shaping is really good but I can't help but think that having more contrast between the fleshy bits and the mushy bits would have turned way better
I would love to see you sculpt Roger the Alien from American Dad! He has soooo many personas to choose from! Or make him look realistic, like you like to do.
I love how you made these alive🙌🙌The way you made those details is incredibly satisfying 🥹🥹🥹
Adam must be a literal genius to make stuff up on the spot while crafting and still make stuff like this
Definitely a "Good Enough" sculpture! 😉😁😁
This is some incredible work man. Imagine if you had a little speaker with a tiny button to make it actually make the clicker noise
Our man shroom here looks and stands like he just got a bbl and I absolutely love it
I mean every game adaptation for the past few years has been a banger, so it's not THAT surprising.
I've been watching you for 2 years now, and I still can't understand how you're so talented man. Goodwork!
Its very game accurate and I like it a lot more than I think I would if it was HBO accurate
Ngl this looks like a clicker slowly turning into a Bloater with how thick the fungal plates are and how they’re growing all over the body
"How many times can i call this man a mushroom?"
"Yes"
"And use my knife in a way that makes my balls itch." Caught me off guard, but when *doesn't* Adam catch someone off guard?
The base and sculpture with the concrete style gives vibes of the model Viewers in the actual games, love it!
That looks exactly like my favorite enemy to hit a brick with exactly 3 times to kill it in TLOU
Try mixing fine sand or sanded grout in with your paints so they finish with a texture
"...in a way that makes my balls itch when I watch it back." I love the brutal honesty.
Ive been watching your vids for about a year now and not to say your other work isnt good, but THIS. Bro THIS is absolutely amazing. The details are emaculate and honestly perfect. I had to rewatch the vid a few times cause it was just that satisfying to watch you create. Please never stop what you do g. Your work is a m a z i n g
How detailed are your creationsss!!!!
Any imperfections add incredible amounts to this build
clicker is attractive with sounds
Everybody gangsta until the Clicker actually starts growing more spores
The pose the clicker is in looks like when you get in the shower and turn it on, but the water is cold and it hits your back lol ( Not hating on the sculpture it looks awesome )
I don't know if you've seen the clickers from the game but if you find ones skeleton there's not much to note except the skull and it honestly looks awesome.
I made a loch Ness monster tea pot in ceramics in middle school, I loved it, was so proud of it, it actually looked very good considering I was in 7th grade. However with lots of other students also making projects, what ended up being the modus operandi was when they were ready to bake we all set them on shelves outside. Long story short, someone fuckin smooshed the tea kettle neck and nessies neck, thus making it an inoperable teapot. Next we were supposed to paint it, but for some reason she wanted us to take them home then bring them back. I was so upset that mine got ruined I smashed it in the parking lot (yes I cleaned it up of course).
As an adult, I really would love to try and remake that tea pot, but I have no idea how to begin a hobby like this. 😅
A little super glue tip: use it with baking soda, it'll cure much faster, and build up nicely. Another (even better) option is to opt for a 2 part epoxy.
Sometimes I just tune in to hear his calm choice it's just so satisfying
love this clicker-bloater intermediate stage!
