- A homicide suspect led Milwaukee Police on a high-speed vehicle pursuit before bailing on foot in recently released videos. No one was injured. At one point, a tire fell off the car. For more videos and photos, visit / incidentresponse .
"Still southbound. Speeds 80. Roads are dry. Cloudy skies. Pollen count is moderate. Chance of rain is 20%. I see a squirrel. Someone is walking their dog. The Bakers forgot to bring their trashcan up. Mrs Jones is cheating on her husband. Still southbound." - Wisconsin Police

Whoever the sgt is that tried to tell them to terminate a 20mph chase of a murder suspect......you are also part of the problem. It's a good thing "nobody heard that" call over the radio.
I doubt you live here and see the news of innocent people being killed by criminals in police chases every other day. It has slowed down since the DOJ blasted our chase policies in residential areas, thankfully. You can also thank the Republican lawmakers for WI terribly weak vehicle code. At least Evers signed in Assembly Bill 55 and Senate Bill 76 to up the penalties for carjacking and reckless driving.
@@romktch17shut up. It’s the liberals. Same thing happened in my city Philly. Where democrats lift up the criminal and stomp on the victims. You’re apart of the problem.
@@romktch17 Democrats are the problem. As usual. FJB and all liberal judges.
@@romktch17 Oh yeah the Democrats are doing a fine job in Milwaukee... About as good as Detroit...
@@romktch17 weak vehicle code? They can't pull them over for homicide. You think they will continue the chase for other "vehicle codes"? How do you enforce them if you won't chase them? You are a moron.
This chase went about 10 minutes too long. Definitely not Arkansas.
.. Right? That sucker would have been TVI'd within 4 min into the chase, not allowed to drive all over town like that. Ridiculous!
Urban vs a few buildings per acre. Check out that Boston chase where an innocent civilian got clobbered when the building fell on him due to a car crashing into it.
Would you compare someone fishing in a barrel with dynomite to someone on a lake?
Arkansas pd = reckless killers.
Milwaukee; where the roads are made of recycled speed bumps.
At least they're eco-friendly... when Milwaukee is done with them, those roads get shipped to Niagara Falls 😂😂
@@JRM1371Are you mentally unwell?
@romktch17 Yes! But, do YOU not understand humor?
How does anybody else use the radio with all those frequent, redundant calls that add nothing to the situation?
If you could report the vapor content of the roadway at your location, I might be able to answer that.
I just sat here and watched this entire video, and you didn't even show them catch him.
They didn’t.
I'm sure he'll be back again.
So a homicide suspect stays in the same town & makes no attempt to cover his identity such as different license plate.....smh....🤔🤔🤔
Yeah why not if the cops can’t catch him since their pursuit policies suck if it was even where else they would have done a PIT
Hes safe in his town or hood whatever you wanna call it . The community knows who he is and what hes wanted for but they don’t care they rather live in that sh*thole then help the police
Good bet the suspect has had previous run-ins with the law.
One of these days we might see a Norwegian male, white shirt, white pants running from the police.
Thanx for the tour of the city😊
Just checking in with some info nowhere to be found in the video: he was in pursuit of a gold Buick LaCrosse, driver was wanted for homicide and reckless driving, speeds were around 80mph, traffic was medium, and the roads were dry.
I don't know why they kept reporting the make and license plate. It was driving on the rims. Do they think if it got out of their sight any cop seeing it driving on its lonesome wouldn't notice?
The health and wokery officer needs to know every ten seconds if the roads are dry. This is vital!
You aren’t kidding. It’s been well established that it typically begins to rain nano seconds after a pursuit is initiated. 😂😂😂😂
you don't know what woke means
We had 2 cars fall off overpasses last year because of wet roads
What kind of car is it again? I didn’t hear you the first 96 times
😂😂😂
b...b..but maybe, just maybe he had one of them transforming cars that could transform into a totally different vehicle..so he had to keep letting his buddies know that he hadn't transformed into something different................
Lol, gotta love the laws over there.
And yet he kept insisting on _not_ using the phonetic alphabet. "Adam Mary Tom" sounds JUST like "Adam Barry Tom" over a radio. In fact, let's see what other common names sound like Mary but begin with a different letter:
Barry
Carrie
Gerry
Harry
Jerry
Kerry/Kari
Larry
Mary
"Alpha Bravo Tango" isn't that hard to say, but very hard to mis-hear. If you're a cop (and you'll have to learn the 10-codes anyway!), maybe learn the phonetic alpabet?
@@KatTheFoxtaur Bro, departments have rules about what phonetic alphabet to use, cops can’t just use whichever one they want. Go back to playing call of duty in your mom’s basement.

Milwaukee does.
Michigan not much better
Actually they brought it from California
Maximum of three cars, too. In other places a long pursuit of a murderer would have had lots more cars to instantly flood the area where he bailed and he likely wouldn't have gotten away.

Murderer running loose and the higher ups are most concerned with the vapor content of the roadway.
Milwaukees “narrators are us” finest
Why officers choose to get out and run behind a suspect who's gonna be faster than them 8 out of 10 times rather than stay in their car and let the suspects wear themselves out first is beyond me
Can you please tell dispatch 25 more times the fact that the driver is “wanted for a homicide”??? They didn’t hear you the 9 times you previously voiced that. 🤡🤡🤡
Probably has to remind senior command so they don't immediately cancel the pursuit.
@@rcrawford42 no way it was needed to be repeated as many times as it was to justify the pursuit.
@@ultraman33624MPD has a finicky Pursue policy
The logic (valid or not) is that there are multiple different precincts throughout the city and as they move around geographically, the radios will scan to different zones. So calling it out ensures that anyone just hearing the chase for the first time has all of the info. Also helps with justifying the chase to desk sergeants who have been legislated into canceling for everything. I'm not gonna sit here and say I agree with all of that reasoning, but that is the gist of it as I understand.
I hope the cop giving that incessant running commentary isn't also driving.

Oh yeah here in mKe we have old ass squads
Why the need to put the entire city at risk of a homicide suspect with these 8-hour chases??? Don't cops PIT in Milwaukee?
Not allowed.
The community will riot and have the officer arrested if he causes an accident with pit. The suspect then will sue the city and win millions
Same old suspects, what is it with them ?. Some lives Dont matter.

Another "scholar" that thinks they can outrun the radio.
The best thing about this "failed to catch the dude" video is the comments on here. Some of them are fierce!
Are they that afraid to pit him? wtf?
probably put on desk duty for scratching vehicle
@@cliffordtrosper6638They don’t have a problem with that lol. MPD doesn’t have a pit policy. The dumbass city leaders tried to take away pursuing in general but MPD fought against it.
Milwaukee PD is not allowed to PIT. They have been kneecapped by political policies and criminal apologist public pressure. So all they can do is spike tires and play follow the leader until they crash, bail out, or stray into a neighboring city/county who has policies that ALLOW PIT's. Pretty common around here in the last 10 years, sad as it is.
On the PA system: Please stop, pretty please with sugar on top, ok?

Milwaukee doesn't even want police. They let "activists" harass an officer to the point they shot into the door of his house.

Very surprised that the gold Buick didn't hold up. Guess they don't make 'em like they used to.
If Milwaukee can’t chase on ground they should chase in the air
They don’t have an air unit. There’s a Wi state tactical helicopter unit about half an hour away in Waukesha, that’s used for mKe coast guard operations and local police/fire operations. Would take too long to get it airborne, and they rarely fly for pursuits

what's with the constant reporting back to HQ?
Roads are dry - got it
Focus on the driving
think he's a trainee and he's nervous--there's someone else in the car with him
It's protocol. A supervisor is monitoring the channel and can call off the chase, especially in/on residential streets.
The reports are to keep the officer from getting tunnel vision on the fleeing car. When it's a second car making the reports it also serves to keep the primary car informed about conditions he may not notice because he's gotten tunnel vision.
You obviously underestimate the importance of the vapor content of the roadway when deciding whether or not it's worth chasing a murderer.

Why does he keep repeating everything?
You know you're watching a pursuit video that's in a liberal ran city when officers constantly repeat the same info over & over again. That's an officers work around to having a supervisor terminate a pursuit. Can't call one off if they can't get on the air to do so since the pursuing officers are tieing up the air with repetitive information! 😁
Supervisor needs to know exactly what's going on so they can call it off if there's too much danger to innocent road users. It's normal protocol around the world, if your cops aren't doing that, you should be asking, why not? Not sure what politics has to do with it, seems a very American thing to equate everything with a political group.🤷♂️
@@DomingoDeSantaClara Because Americans can notice patterns, like Democrat-run areas let felons flee if they move faster than a brisk walk, while Republican-run areas will bring them in regardless. Compare Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Little Rock, Arkansas.
@@DomingoDeSantaClara Give me a safety reason why the make, model and license plate have to be constantly repeated.
@@johnargus9081 obviously some info isn't related to safety, but for other units that are in the area that may not have all the info because they were involved in other duties when the incident began.
@@DomingoDeSantaClara I understand the need for certain information to be relayed since I'm a retired Deputy but to tie up the air with repetitive commentary that has already been stated is never needed. If you pay attention & watch enough of these videos (if you aren't already aware of police policies) then you'll know & see a big difference in how other agencies will call out a pursuit WITHOUT the constant repetition of non prudent information. Road conditions & make & model of the vehicle is not going to change every 15-30 seconds. Once a vehicle has been established in which is being pursued, speed, direction of travel & any additional risks that present themselves like a weapon being used is all that's needed. As for the comment of a liberal ran jurisdiction is because those areas requiring such repetitive non informative radio updates typically come from liberal ran areas whereas conservative ran areas just want the pertinent information relayed. For safety reasons communications should never be tied up with constant radio chatter due to other officers, supervisors or dispatch needing to get pertinent information to those units involved. That's why I believe that some of these officers clog the radio with empty information so that their supervisors CAN'T call off the pursuit since they want to actually apprehend the criminals.
What a pathetic display of law enforcement (with the exception of of a couple of units who showed courage and determination- the video shows who is who,my respect to you officers) for the most part though most of ya'll need to turn in your badges, guns and probably your DL in and go hide under a rock
Were they trying to break the 'Dodge Charger driven by black male' high-speed-chase stereotype? by engaging in a 20mph chase involving a Buick LaCrosse PGA giveaway, Tiger Woods Edition? and manage to lose the suspect on foot with multiple officers on scene...???
Stay Classy, Milwaukee, Stay Classy.
LOL Interestingly enough, there was a black Dodge Charger being chased west on Layton Ave at 13th about 6:45pm on June 4th. Not sure of the driver's ethnic background due to window tint and the fact it caught traffic by surprise and a few of us almost ended up in the middle of it. Driver made a crappy attempt at escape with a run through the gas station across from the Muslim Temple. Must have thought about a refill and decided it was too busy.
