- A deputy with the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office was patrolling in St. Cloud, Wisconsin when a minivan pulled out of a driveway at a high rate of speed in front of the deputy almost striking the deputy’s squad car. No one was injured. The pursuit ended in Sheboygan County. The driver, 59-year-old man, had four open cases through Fond du Lac County at the time and is on probation. Three of the open cases have conditions of absolute sobriety. For more videos and photos, visit / incidentresponse .
Fastest minivan in history
Buddy had the Town & Country engine straight WHEEZING🤣
They did put those pentastars in police chargers
I've got the dodge version of this van and it's no slouch, They come with 285HP right from the factory so they can get out of their own way when you put your foot in it. I like to refer to my van as a Diaper Viper. haha Also fun fact.... every single Dodge or Chrysler minivan in existence was built here in my city. Windsor Ontario Canada. They are EVERYWHERE around here haha
Drove the 2014 Caravan's as a Taxi Cab and they were as fast as the Impala Sedans but carried Twice the Passengers Too.
@@timmorin69 I'm In Ottawa!
"I JUST GOT OUT OF JAIL"
I think I can identify the first problem.
Lol
"Joe" 😆
You've never had a kid who learned they can get their way by calling 911 and lying to the cops. You think it's something you can control. Ask me how I know. Also, go to hell.
Yeah, he's a moron!
When the cops are on a first name basis with you, you got a problem.
HA! good point
"I'm not going to jail again." Guess again.
Poor little "Joe" 😆
Old Joe is like Otis the town drunk...... If Otis was surly and put people's lives at risk by getting behind the wheel. lol 🤣
If it was Arkansas he would be going to hospital and then back to jail!
Guy drove that mini van pretty well for being drunk !!
Except for that last part.
Did you watch the beginning of the video (0:15)? He pulled out directly in front of a police trooper.
@@ardoin_337 Yes because he saw the officer coming for him. They already knew who he was since they called him by his name without asking for it. I can imagine they drove to his house because of a prior incident.
Wisconsin does have a fairly talented drunk driving crowd
Couldn't turn a corner worth a shit though.
Full grown adult, still thinks it's everyone else's fault. His life could be so much better if he had an accurate self image and the will to change.
Average Trump voter.
@@ddums89You know, I don’t usually like to throw politics into crap like this….but sometimes…. 🎯
It isn't about "WILL." Alcoholism is powerlessness. This statement alone shows just how little people actually know or understand about alcoholism/addiction. It is not a choice! It's SCIENCE.
@@ddums89 what an ignorant reply.
As a matter of fact, Nancy Pelosi is CONSTANTLY drunk IN PUBLIC...HELL, IN CONGRESS!.
just got out of jail.... he was clearly not in there long enough, he learned *NOTHING*
Neither did enforcement...they let him out to offend more!
You know your special when you pull out in front of a police car and they have to hit the brakes and then you speed off and set a new land speed record in a minivan. BLESS YOUR HEART!!!
Self inflicted start to finish he's his own worst enemy no one else needs to blamed
"Put your hands up joe" LOL
Apparently he’s known to the sheriffs department
it's a "family" thing in the county....
small town
That's got to be the fastest van I've ever seen or that cop car is slow???
Both.
Thought the same.
as we found out later...they all "know" each other....it's a family thing.....
(power to weight ratio has entered the chat)
Ever weigh a fully loaded police patrol vehicle with all the gear in the trunk?
Depending on what engine is in the Police Explorer… the non-turbo V6 is going to have similar power as the T&C van, but weigh more. The turbo V6 Explorer will have a substantially more power but still be heavier.
Must be nice when the cops are your buddies, they don’t tase you and they don’t PIT you
"I'm not going to jail again." Ummm....dude. Yes you are.
Just got out of jai!..., and commits a crime....,
Who else thinks that the system is a joke
He had a hemi in that bad boy. I guess when mom needs to get the kids to soccer practice, it comes in handy.
huh? barely looks like they broke 100 lol
he certainly left the cops behind....good brakes too...
They only sold them with a v6
He seems to be his own worst enemy.
Wow! Making demands for what he did.
the brazen cheek....
Chockfull of self-importance.
Joe won't remember any of it when he wakes up in the morning 🥴
I guess he likes picking up the soap in prison showers...
@@Le_Comte_de_Monte_Felin 😆
The worst humans tend to be the biggest crybabies.
bro is flying lol
This is the essence of Wisconsin right here.
Corn fields & meth labs.
Wonder if he got the $50 signature bond.
I wouldn't even put a second pair with his attitude
Those Ford Police SUVs are rather gutless as I have seen two minivans run away from them and yesterday a Hyundai Elantra driven by a 17 year old thoroughly humiliated a couple of pursuit Ford SUVs.
Boy i miss those pursuit mustangs they used to use ... the old Mustang SSP .. and Steeda got in on the game as well with a Steeda SSS mustang ..
I'm guessing you've seen the pursuit where a crown vic was one of the first cars the entire time, practically drifting at one point. One of the dashcams caught an officer saying something to the effect of "damn, whoever's in that crown vic can drive!"
Depends which engine they have. The ones with the twin-turbo 6-cylinder engines are *very* spicy indeed, but a lot of departments buy the naturally aspirated 6-cylinder option instead. A lot also depends on how much time and budget the department invests in pursuit driver training. Again, many departments cut their budgets by reducing expensive training.
Does that help? In the short term, yes. Administrators can point to lower department expenditures and pat themselves on the back. In the long term it costs more, because that savings and more will be paid out in repairs, workman's comp, and court settlements.
When I started, we were just phasing out the Ford Fairlane. The emergency light were had on it were stupidly insufficient. Then we started using the Ford Crown Vics. Best pursuit vehicle we used. Kept upgrading the emergency lights and sirens. Just as everything was going great, Ford in its infinite wisdom, discontinued the Crown Vics and brought in the SUVs. Luckily, I never drove one. People told me that they loved them for the room inside of them, but acceleration was lacking.
Most police Explorers have anemic natural-aspired V6 engines. The twin-turbo Ecoboost 4 banger engine will SMOKE that V6, & the twin-turbo Ecoboost V6 will smoke most V8s. Once again, the bean-counters saved a few pesos, & neutered the police SUVs in the process.
Ordering the cops around, making demands. LOL
“I can’t believe this is happening again, all I did was break laws, flee and elude, violate probation, endanger the lives of dozens of people, resist arrest, why? Why is this happening??!”
The hand of AA is aways there. #92 you're a good cop.
After all those years as a brain surgeon in Fond Du Lac he caves in to the lure of alcohol.
bro thought he was getting away on these mile long drag strips in that shit can loooooool
Fleeing in a minivan. Go get ‘em, Wisconsin! 😂😂😂
WHAT A DING DONG!
OMG what an incredibly selfish person, I hope they throw the book at him and he figures out he is the problem not everyone else... SHAMEFUL
Forget a hellcat, i want that minivan! Zero to soccer practice in 5 seconds!
Doing that glass cage of e-MO-tion thing....and blaming everyone but himself.
Compassionate LEOs know him by his name already.
America needs more, better mental health facilities for people like this.
Can blame Reagan for that...
Another ignoramus blames Reagan for the ACLU.
Nah - he'll just run for office and the public will ADORE his antics.
He might have outrun a bicycle cop.
He lost a huge distance from cops on every turn.. should have just kept driving straight... :)
Fun du Lac sheriff: P.I.T if speeds low enough.
Arkansas State Patrol: hold my beer ....... Speeds 120-125mph Suspect TVI'ed/ PIT..... Rollover, Rollover. 😂. ASP is on a whole different level 😂.
First name basis, not Joe’s first rodeo.
Gotta say Joe’s got a good mechanic to be able to keep that old Caravan is such fine shape after what must be many pursuits. He must have been whipping that poor van time and again yet it’s in fine enough shape to cover ground pretty well.
You KNOW you've led a lousy life when the Deputies know your name.
Also, dude just got out of jail? Maybe they should keep him there from now on? Clearly he's a danger to society.
Usual suspect right fools ?
"He knows who I am." Well, we do know what you are too. Incredible cop patience.
Well at least that high speed pursuit had some comedy with it hehe
I own one of these vans and i knew they were really fast for what they are, but i didn't think they could blow the doors off of a police explore that bad. lol
It's almost unbelievable that a drunk driver in a station wagon can easily outrun a cruiser driven by a sober policeman.
Never a good sign when the local cops are on a first name basis.
"I can't believe this is happening again!" Welp, maybe you need to get help because the rest of us probably believe it.
Watching these near misses is like witnessing miracles unfold
This boy needs Judge Fleisher! (Sp.) 😂 He wouldn't be seeing daylight for awhile.
Call my kid right now! Now! LOL
"I can't believe this is happening again!". IKR? It's just so random.
No license plates, no license, busted mirrors, NO PROBLEM.... Its Milwaukee! I see it every day on the road. Unreal.
Don’t forget popped tires, missing fenders that affect driving or others around them, and even completely smashed windshields. 😂 I’m on the North Side most of the time throughout work, and there’s a lot of things that people do with their idiocy.
For being a drunk driver the individual surely stayed on the roadway driving perfectly like a normal driver that hasn't consumed any alcohol.
Dude can't believe "it's happening again". No, man, you DID it again. There's a difference,
Who knew a minivan had a "hemi?"
Damn that Chrysler town and country minivan can boogy! lol
I have had two of those Vans. They pull 300hp. They are pretty fun to drive.
When a cop says, "do X or I will tase you", the suspect doesn't do X, and the cop doesn't tase him, the suspect learns pretty quickly that the cop is making empty threats.
Insanely bad timing on the vans part.
Just goes to show
There's never a cop around when you need one,
but they're always there when you least expect them.
Subject eventually regained his senses and gave up willingly. Subject cooperated with the authorities. Mutual respect was maintained by all parties. Not even a scratch nor a dent was put into any vehicle. No screaming weomn in the background, no taser, no guns, no runs.
Gave up willingly… that’s a bit of a stretch.
He crashed out and complained the whole time. I don't think we watched the same video.
That’s pretty sad that a drunk in a minivan ran off from that cruiser that much .
Oh gosh he’s going to miss Friday fish fry,
0:19 AND THE WORST TIMING AWARD GOES TO .............................. ! ! ! !
You've going to jail Joe...
In the officer's defense, the cruiser was still in the break-in period, and he was advised to stay below 1/2 throttle.
That cop can’t drive.
Joe was funny..angry, then sad, then angry again
Parabens aos policiais pelo profissionalismo e pela calma na abordagem ao motorista. Policiais top!
If that dude had not missed the turn he was probably gone! Flat out running that Ford Explorer in a minivan! LMAO!
Joe, grown up kid.
He makes continuous bad choices. The LEOs treat him with respect and are empathetic: Outstanding LE!
Usual suspects.
Just got out of jail. Well, all I can think is he had a good time there and was in a real big hurry to get back. Can't think of another reason, like - he's stupid. Has no common sense. Is a perpetual victim. Did I miss any?
A nice joy ride before he spends a nice long vacation at the Graybar Hilton!
What are you driving? You're being out ran by a minivan.
the minivans probs has a v8 in it, dodge grand caravans came with the 5.7 as well
@elchoco2129 good point.
@@elchoco2129It's a pushrod 4.0/4.2 or a Pentastar 3.6. Chrysler minivans (or any other FWD Chrysler) have never had a 5.7 or any other V8.
What made Milwaukee famous, made a fool out of him.
Worst getaway and chase of the year.
All he cares about is himself, not the danger he put everyone else into.
P.S. - If the deputy had been driving a Dodge Charger, he's of been traveling a half mile past that minivan before stopping.
Try dictating the terms and conditions of your arrest when Jacob Byrd is the arresting officer.
Ok! Insanity! The battle is real!
Additional charge for white socks with sandals.
Told to get on the ground and didn't but he's still alive....and he's darling orders at them!!!!!!! Wow
Going to rethink not getting a minivan for drag racing next time
Wisconsin, where they require a minimum BAC to drive!
He was better than all of you !! But taken him into custody was way calm and have to commend the officers on this one ..
Sound like he has long history 🙇🏻♂️
Those 2 are DAMM GOOD COPS !
Sheesh the next Need for Speed game needs to have that mini van as a starting car because that thing was zooming
What's that minivan got under the hood a Viper motor?
The victim's card was revoked
Missed a couple of ideal pit maneuver opportunities. Rookie
Such a sad little end to the chase. Joe, do better!
Our current law enforcement system caters to mental misfits like this.
Get em!
4:50 I’m sort of blown away that a minivan was able to out drive this squad car on a back road.
And in wet weather conditions 🌧️
When the cops know you by your first name, that's never a good thing.
When the local cops call you by name, you are more than likely a problem.
Joe said that he just got out of jail 🙄
This guy whines like a little child. 😂
8:56 "I just got out of jail" 🥴
minivan is fast and furious
