Finn's New Crush was fire...literally
you could even say she was ... hot
@@rafaelconstantino9736I mean yeah but also YAOWEE ZAOWEE GYATT DAMN (pls help me)
A dumpster fire
Old but gold joke
The one thing that Susan's friends fear the most...
Giant woman made of fire that can burn him to death with a touch.
Finn: "Would".
He wants to go to tier 15
Don't ever touch Tier 15💀 @@matrixster6238
Nux: “also would”
Pb haters: also would. (probably)
I WOULD
One of the things I love most about Finn's character: his sadness.
I know that SOUNDS weird, but hear me out, Finn's sad moments feel so REAL. Like it's not like Finn does this EVERY TIME PB rejects him, he's doing it because it's happened MULTIPLE times and he's just tired.
Even when he does do things that seem like 'SIMP,' behavior, they aren't anything 'unreasonble' for a 14 year old to do. He's realistic.
Compared to my 14yo past ass he's actually pretty mature. Damn was i stupid. But thats ok.
@@DPedroBoh relatable
@@DPedroBoh Same
I also really like that(especially in the later seasons) the characters are consistent over multiple episodes. If Finn or Jake are in a weird mood, they'll act weird for a few episodes even if it's not relating to the plot, it feels very natural. It's hard to explain but yea
Exactly, he just became a teen! Puberty does messed us up pretty badly!
Flame King: I like Koalas
Jake: *Makes a Mahito style Koala*
Flame King: Nevermind! F*CK Koalas
"She's LITERALLY hot."
If Nux gets cancelled for using the word "LITERALLY" the right way, then it's joever for this generation. Dude is just telling the facts, she's made of LITERAL FIRE
Literally is commonly used as a hyperbolic intensifier.
@@rimfire8217
Now this may be my autistic bias, but that's probably the worst travesty to have ever befallen the English language. Making a disambiguator ambiguous is like connecting a fire hydrant to a gas line instead of a water line.
@@Luigicat11 While I agree in general, this exact travesty has happened several times. The word "very" comes from "verily". And "really" means that something is "real". Basically all of our intensifiers come from terms for disambiguating fact from fiction. It is literally really very annoying. It will happen again, and it must be resisted.
@@cbecht i think really and very are acceptable but the literally part i feel is literally really crossing the line
@@rimfire8217
And incorrectly
"Find a new love interest in the forest"
Should have just tried that from the start in hindsight
Are you referring to later?
Well to be Frank had he done so Finn would or might have still fumbled that one considering he was still very young and immature by the time they met he was already grown and well-rounded, far from the version of himself that would act so irrationally bc of a girl.
@@ivandevera7665 yeah, the sad part about finn massive fumble was that it was all him. Changing the girl wouldn`t change the ouctome.
@@blackbloom8552
Wouldnt say it was all him
If it was just a wet(fire?) dream he probably wouldnt have done it(even the way it happenedwas iffy to his character) should the Owl had not intentionally showed up in there, which led to him overthinking it and trying to make it happen
It was far from inevitable, if anything I think any alteration to the storyline would have avoided that event
@@ale-xsantos1078the thing is. It was DESTINED to happen, being that the owl doesn't chose the dream, he just gets the key and go inside.
To me, this was the turning point for Adventure Time. Finn starts to mature. He becomes a little less silly with every episode.
And his actions starts to have real consequences, for the good or not.
"This is not tsundere it is schizophrenia"
I'm writing that down lmfao
The Incendium songs are underrated af. Also, we finally got second best girl! (Second only to Marceline)
I second this statement!!!!
And I believe they are remixes of that song they sung together in the door master episode.
TRUE
Fun facts about this episode:
This is the first appearance of Flame King and Flame Princess.
This is a Valentine's Day episode, even though it aired a day before Valentine's Day.
It also aired on the same day as the Regular Show episode "Butt Dial," which is also a Valentine's Day-related episode.
Incendium means "the fire" or "burning" in Latin.
Flame Princess' mouth hangs open when Finn says that he likes her, but on the Facebook photo version, her mouth is closed.
In the preview, Ricardio's voice (George Takei) seems to be narrating, which is most likely because the episode premieres the day before Valentine's Day.
This is the first Adventure Time Valentine's Day special.
"All Warmed Up Inside" originally came from "All Gummed Up Inside," although it is changed talking about Flame Princess rather than Princess Bubblegum, and it is changed with specific words that have the same singing tune as "All Gummed Up Inside." The first four measures of each song sound different melodically.
When Jake threw things out of his backpack, a magazine with a burger on it (Ble), an orange peanut, and a bird doll can be seen.
According to Comic-Con 2013 interview with Jeremy Shada (Finn) and Tom Kenny (Ice King & Flambo), it is Jeremy Shada's personal favorite episode.
Episode connections:
Finn still keeps the lock of hair from Princess Bubblegum that he got in "To Cut a Woman's Hair", and was seen again in "What Was Missing".
Rebecca Sugar said this was the episode when she could finally make Finn cry, although he cried briefly before in "Jake vs. Me-Mow."
He also seems to cry in "Dream of Love" and "The New Frontier." Even though this was not seen on the show, Finn says he spent thirty minutes crying in his bed after Jake almost suffocated him in "Crystals Have Power." This is the second episode where Finn is seen crying (not including him crying as a baby).
In the previous episode, "Dad's Dungeon," Finn made a large deal about not crying often. Also, in an interview with Pen Ward taken very close to the airing of "Incendium," he said that he does not like to make Finn cry.
Cultural references:
When Jake is fighting the second Iron Owl, his attack resembles one of Monkey D. Luffy's attack Gomu Gomu no Ono (Gum Gum Battle Axe in English) in the popular anime One Piece.
BMO's game was a reference to Nintendo's Excitebike.
When Finn tells BMO to go away, BMO performs a Kancho prank on Finn.
When Jake sings he sings one line in a voice similar to Barry White. The closed captions even say "As Barry White".
The Iron Owls somewhat resemble Bubo, the metallic owl from the 1981 film Clash of the Titans.
Production notes:
This episode was previously titled "Heart of the Fire Kingdom."
This is Adam Muto's and Rebecca Sugar's last episode as a team (see promo art). As from this episode, Adam Muto was promoted to creative director and Rebecca Sugar will work together with Cole Sanchez.
The original storyboard shows Flame Princess shooting more Fire People.
In the original storyboard, Flame Princess calls Finn freaky, after advising him to never mess with her again.
On iTunes, this episode, along with the episodes "Another Way," "Ghost Princess," and "Dad's Dungeon," is incorrectly labeled as part of season four.
The noises coming from the instrument Jake sings the serenade with is a guitar (six strings), but the sounds coming from it are a ukulele.
Errors:
In the first scene, on Jake's right side, there is a radio (Labelled "ROCK"). Later when it starts to rain, and Finn and Jake run indoors, the radio disappears.
In the scene right before Finn sees Flame Princess on the roof, the thumb on his left hand is misplaced.
When Finn is depressed he holds his wad of Princess Bubblegum's hair. In the scene when Jake walks away talking about Finn's love-life (right before Jake puts his boots on), the wad of hair is gone but Finn's hands are still in their previous position.
When Finn leans over to lie down on Princess Bubblegum's lap his left shirt sleeve is the same color as his skin for a few frames.
When the Tree Fort begins to shake, the arm of another BMO can be seen next to the original BMO, as if BMO is standing in front of a mirror.
Jake sings a song with what looks to be an acoustic guitar (on fire), though it sounds like a ukelele.
There are various continuity errors regarding the rockets and the matches that were on the roof in the first scenes with Princess Bubblegum as well as when Flame Princess is on the roof.
When Jake tells Finn the rain is letting up, there is no red plant on the window; however, one appears when Finn start to sing.
Even though the Tree Fort was on fire nothing seems to have been burnt, except for the picture of Princess Bubblegum.
At the beginning of the episode, Finn is looking at a picture of Princess Bubblegum without a flower, but later on, he is still in the same position where he was looking at the last picture, but this time, the picture is Princess Bubblegum with a flower.
When Finn breaks the glass, he grabs the window frame with his right hand, holding Princess Bubblegum's hair in his left. After seeing Flame Princess, his hands switch, holding on to the treehouse with his left arm, and holding Princess Bubblegum's hair in his right. After Flame Princess falls, his left hand is holding the window frame, and his right hand is holding Princess Bubblegum's hair, which he sticks onto the treehouse.
What if the BMO error is referring to the BMO Mirror episode in the future?
"Oh, she's in the lamp because....because she's a bomb..."
That realization is priceless.
"All Gummed Up Inside" is still hands down one of my favourite Adventure Time songs. Alongside "I'm Still Your Problem". Shows Finn's complicated relationship with trying to grapple love. Especially for PB. You really feel for him here.
Believe me, you're gonna love Flame Princess.
Then again, it's pretty hard not to love literally any character in Adventure Time in some way, shape, or form. Even characters that you don't like will grow on you. Really, Adventure Time only gets better from here.
Ahem bubblegum “slander”
@@alexisislas-gonzalez5991 Unacceptable! 🤭
I don't think he'll ever like Tree Trunks.
Just wait until the Lich’s return, which will be unforgettable

Finn is a Masochist.
You joke about Princess Bubblegum being Makima coded, but I'm pretty sure I heard somewhere that the mangaka of _Chainsaw Man_ actually admitted that _Adventure Time_ was one of his inspirations.
EDIT: Yep, Tatsuki Fujimoto has stated that "Denji and Pochita's relational dynamic was inspired by Finn the Human and Jake the Dog from _Adventure Time."_
Bubble gum changed though. She isn't bad anymore.
@@Sinislovesbillcypher. Yeah, but it took a Hell of a lot of time & bullshit happening to her in the later seasons for said moral improvement to occur (plus Marceline, probably).
There.is.no.fuCKING.WAY😭☠️ That's amazing cuz i always thought they were similar
Wait... is Denji's Chainsaw Devil form just edgy anime Jake Suit!?
@@Serpentking789 She did do a lot of good things in the earlier seasons too. She was not pure evil but controlling and manipulated with her authoritarian moments being a result of her desire to help her people and keep them safe.
Flambo: "I made you fire proof, also I spat on yous."
Me: 😂😂😂😂
"Dad's Dungeon" is one of those emotionally good episodes. You've got to appreciate the lengths Jake is willing to go through to cheer up Finn. Even disobeying his father and lying to the Fire King. Jake is such a real one. We've finally met Flame Princess. I can't wait for you guys to learn more about her. It's a rather interesting story.
Bot comment
did he cover it? haven't been able to find anything.
11:00 "Is that Keith David? You're a loser, baby!" LOL I love that voice actor too. Such a jewel, gotta love him
I can't see this episode the same anymore because I just think of husk being his usual self
I fell in love with his acting when he was in Saints Row the video game
Nux: Did I say something cancellable?
Flambo: Yeah
I remember when season 3 ended on that cliffhanger and I was stuck waiting months for the next season with that rolling around in my head
Come for the "Flame Princess is hot lololololol" comments
Stay for Jake

Thanks Captain
Jessica DiCicco was also the voice of Candice in close enough and also voice the mysterious woman in the commercial scene of Illumination's super Mario Bros movie.
7:35 I 1/2 expected Nux to say SPONGEBOB?! A very spongeboby scream, makes sense being Tom Kenny the voice actor of both Flambo and Spongebob, just really funny. SPONGEBOB- I mean WOMAN!
Ready yourself Nux. Season 4 has some heavy goddamn hitters
From "All gummed up inside" to "All warmed up inside" only Jake can turn a sad song into a love song
Adventure Time started when I was a preteen and ended not long after I graduated high school. Watching the show as it aired made it feel like I grew up with Finn. Rewatching the first three seasons in the form of your reactions is like a nostalgia trip through all the best and worst moments of my 5th-8th grade years. Thank you for seeing it through to the end of season 3. I cant wait to see how you feel about season 4 as I personally think the show peaked near the end of that one (though it never spiraled downhill after).
1. Jake is Nux's spirit animal I swear
2. Finn's romantic life is like a tragic comedy now that I look at it lol
Yes first introduction to flame princess
Welcome to the Season 3 Finale, which came with the introduction of Flame Princess,
Who pretty much marked the beginning of things eventually changing within the Series, now that I think about it, not instantly of course, it happened gradually, still that is pretty much how things are.
She wasn’t the cause of call of the eventual changes, but she did eventually became the one who kick-started the Character Arcs of certain Characters and her introduction did cause a change in the status quo, which would be the first out of many and it pretty much all started with Flame Princess, at least based on a particular point of view.
I can’t wait to see your Reaction to all of it from here on, hehe.
I just keep thinking about how mad Jake got when PB was tryna manipulate Finn later
Bimo Nooooo!
Not the thousand years of death.
Fin already suffering enough 😂
In this episode, a young blonde haired boy makes a shrine centered on his crush's artifact and later comes across a hot-tempered red haired girl.
*Gee, does that sound familiar at all.*
I’m tired, remind me of the other one(s)?
YOOOOOO IT HAPPENED!!! THE GREATEST SHIP EVER! People REALLY like flame princess. She is both figuratively and literally fire
Im more of a Huntress Wizard man myself, but i can respect that.
Man I forgot how blurred the lines get between Adventure Time's season finals and openings.
Didnt finish the vid yet but hell yeah I was waiting for Nux’s reaction to Keith David in adventure time. 😂❤️ That man is da GOAT
I forgot BMO preforms 100 years of death on Finn 14:40
Flame Princess predicted unstable women that take things wrong and are short fused
The lore reason flame princess is unhinged cus she's been a captive in her own home 💀
I thought it’s because she has anger issues
Let's not forget the main reason for that, is because of certain person.
@@kingwalter4284The real real reason is her dad, y'know, wanting her to go out there alone as a baby, to some extent PB's thing isn't so bad if you compare it to that

Things are heating up
Good one 😂
Things are about to get heated
An understatement 😂
Literally
Nux: there's only 3 paths Finn can take. 1. The Andrew Tate path. Which is bad I guess. 2. I have no friggin clue, I don't even think that was English. And 3. Something about Twitter.
Me: Seriously Nux is everything alright at home?
Finn's ideaology in this situation is just
_"Dude, I almost died. ...But I'm kinda into it."_
Has Nux ever seen the 90's Gargoyles animated series from Disney? That series was so ahead of its time and was entertaining for kids and adults. Best of all the main character, Goliath, is voiced by Keith David! He should add it to his reaction list if he hasn't seen it before!
I love how Jake turns Finn's sad song into something so positive.
Also, fear-boners require an insane amount of scarousal. Being literally made of fire, Flame Princess is a good source of that.
Keith David has also been in video games. He voice acted for the leader of the saints on saints row 1 and came back for a small bit in saints row 2. He even played an entirely new character in saints row 4.
This show had to give fin an even more toxic crush than pb. A crush that can literally kill him not just emotionally but physically. Why can’t my boy catch a break.
Flame princess is such an awesome character omg I love her so much
Keith David has been in every good cartoon show in the last decade.

I'm still waiting for his reaction to "I remember you"
This ep definitely in my top 15 favorites
Dont let the flaming harlot deceive you brothas. Marceline is best girl and huntress wizard.
Yeah but Finn wouldn't have been anywhere mature enough for Huntress wizard if he hadn't first gone through these experiences with FP. She might be end game. But she is a good stepping stone and learning experience for future relationships.
7:55 Guma-Guma No!
I love you for saying that. ❤❤❤
0:47 Nux really made that moment weirder than it already was
Yessss. YEEEESSSSSS!!!
I was gonna go to sleep, but seeing Nux watching this episode pop up in my recommended, I will stay up just for this
When i hear her say "Cloud Seeding" All I can think about is America's war crime of controlling the weather "Cloud Seeding" in Vietnam. During the rainy season, increasing the rain to try and get flooding to destroy them.
I can vouch for that,I also went through what Finn is going through now and I was 14 last year and I went through this but in a different way that Finn is going through it
6:17 Fun Fact:
He does all 3 at some point
21:41 finn took one look at her and was like "i can fix her"
There is art of Princess Bubblegum and Finn drawn like Makima and Denji made by an official storyboard artist
Denji is based off of Finn so maybe Makima was somewhat based off of Bublegum
@@staraptorflock3661 Wouldn't be surprising then
You have only one language: PB is Makima.
Bro.. Literally in this episode it was seen how as soon as Finn approached his feet PB TOOK him AWAY saying not to be strange (During these 3 seasons and the following ones PB has NEVER been interested in Finn in a non-professional way), and if you tell me "It's just that PB manipulated Finn into being his hero" NO.
Finn is a hero for 3 reasons; 1)He has a hero's morality that prevents him from seeing injustice, 2) In the episode "Little brother" Jake literally says "If you want to do brotherly things, give him a sword and let him fight monsters" and 3)Finn became a hero inspired by Billy wishing to be like him. Also Finn helps and puts himself in danger in general (He's only with PB longer because it's the biggest kingdom and because it's close to her house), let's not forget that Willberry Princess put Finn to protect her from LITERALLY A PROFESSIONAL KILLER.
@@JuanAlbertoHernandezAlvarez That's why I say "somewhat based off of" even though PB never tried to seduce Finn like Makima did with Denji both PB and Makima are both these control freak puppet masters who are have positions of authority that the protagonists have a crush on. And when you consider that Denji and Pochita are based off of Finn and Jake as told by the creator you can't help but wonder if the same can somewhat be true for PB and Makima
@@staraptorflock3661 Ok, I just gave my opinion, (Sorry if I insult you) it's just that (Although PB has done very good and VERY questionable things in the story) to compare her with Makima and cut off any discussion or argument against it with "PB Grooms and manipulate Finn" (And I've seen dozens if not hundreds on Twitter and CZcams saying that) it's annoying and absurd.
But hey, it's just my opinion.
In case no one has told you nux. Jake's VA also voices bender from Futurama
Omg yes I’ve been waiting for him to get to this episode, finally!
21:45 the sound of nux foaming at the mouth in utter shock
OH SHIT FLAME PRINCESS!
Flame Princess is great.

Hey it's the girl who it keeps popping up in fan art. She must be a really important character after this.
Yeah, this is gonna be an arc
Yeah baby! That's what I've been waiting for!
Can't wait to see how you react to Season 4.
Oh man, we’re really here. In my head, I think I mixed up some of season 4 with season 3, so it felt too soon.
[22:21] It's so much fun to hear Nux gush over Season Three knowing that Season Four is even better and that Season Five arguably better than that. We've got a lot of good stuff coming up.
I love this episode so much
Jake is one of my favorite characters, he's also fucking nuts sometimes but that's why I like him 😂
13:30 original demo was way more inappropriate lol.
Dang, Nux was right, it was the same song! But instead of being gummed up, it’s Finn being fired up by FP!
I can't wait to see Nux's reaction to jake telling off bubblegum, it's so cathartic, I know he'll love it.
4:20, mmm, mmmhmmmm ye, love this song, well not this one, I forgot there was a bubblegum version, but the later one at 13:19 for... however many years since this episode released, just warms you up inside... pun not intended.
We just need the Skyrim dude that say: "Ok, hear me out"
That will solve Fin issue.
Yes it's finally here, the ramifications of Peach... wow Freudian slip lmao, I meant Bubblegum but I'll keep that in, of Bubblegum's aging back and manipulating *AND ANOTHER BEST GIRL!!!* I loved Marcy like everyone else and yeah she activated that Goth love alongside Raven and... someone else I can't remember for some reason, but honestly I always like Flame Princess best from Adventure Time.
To be fair, finn wanting to be pet shouldn't be unusual given the fact he was raised by dogs😅😂 but yeah
BMO is a silly little robot
im on season 8, please dont stop, it gets so much better
I'm glad we finally got to this part of the lore
Nux! We NEED, “Why is chat spamming lore?” merch NOW.
The parallel between Finn's song and Jake's remix into him loving again kinda crazy
4:00 gosh I remeber relating so much to were Finn was in this moment! and sometimes still do.
I've loved watching you react to this, keep going Boss!
Finn literally falling in love with a girl just for being pretty and slapping the masochist, without a doubt the best start =V
Forgot this episode existed its so good
tbf this is the first time PB was ACTUALLY clear with Finn by rejecting him instead of just laughing at it and act as she ignores it
If somebody is suffering there is an 80% chance that it's all Bubblegum's fault
Finally!!!!!! FP has arrived!
This was my favorite eps of the whole show
6:45 regular show also fits into that description.
flame princess's story is so tragic but her future is so kick ass!
i think hers is my favorite character arc in adventure time
yes it is another ice king situation
"There! I cast Flame Shield on yous.........Also I spat on yous"
Never get tired of that
