Hey, thanks a lot! It's an electric screwdriver I'm just using a drill attachment. It wouldn't be powerful enough to drill into a wall or anything, but I prefer it because it's portable and quieter. My drill has to be plugged in.

I loved the way the planks looked new again after you sanded them. I painted mine white because they looked old. I wish I had seen this video before I started mine. Great video.

Yeah just acrylic paint I already had. The varnish I think was Ronseal clear outdoor varnish or something like that, but most brands do an equivalent for about £10-£20 for a decent sized tin. Are you planning one yourself? :)

Would love to see some interesting stuff from its rich history (of which I only know a fraction). Did u know, The Suffragettes broke glass and also set fire buildings in Kew? Their case is rather interesting!
@@laughterismed I'm glad you enjoy it! I've actually made a video about Kew Gardens already, in the 'Great British Adventure' series, about 20 videos back. I've been thinking of making a video about the suffragettes at some point though, so that's really interesting - I didn't know that! :)
If I am not mistaken, after a few of the ladies were arrested, they changed the laws to reduce their punishment. This was to avoid any mass protest by the public. I need to read more to find out though.
I loved this Chris. I was looking to make a temporary one for a party for my husband's birthday and will use your design (even if it will be out of foam core) - one for each continent! Maybe he will decide to make a permanent one like yours after he sees it. Well done!!
The map at 1:59 is from the cold war era as there's the USSR I never noticed that until now Edit:I think it's from around ww1 as I see Austria-Hungary there
I can only imagine what would happen if Chris got injured, so many people would send get well cards, and he would make a video about it and at the end he would thank everyone who wished him good luck during that hard time.
