President Donald Trump promises a dramatic change in U.S. foreign policy-less intervention around the world, more focus on America’s national interests. This isn’t a new idea, but given today’s shifting relations with Russia and China, it is one that may fundamentally remake the existing world order. Harvard University professor and Foreign Policy columnist Stephen Walt has taken issue with the foreign policy visions of both the 44th and 45th Presidents. He will be joined by Steve Edwards of the Institute of Politics for a pointed conversation about the future of global relations.

Went to visit the local museum, I got the change to speak with the Vietnam Veteran, we discussed the troubles is going into our country. when did I ask him "Why Democrats are so desperate for gun control?" He said many times politicians been trying to do that, but we are protected from the constitution. He said there are 1000s hunters nationwide and never had problems.
But how far the politician can go and can they change the constitutional rights of the 2nd Amendment?

Much of Walt's opinions are deeply imperialist. At 28:00 he outright lies about American activities in eastern Europe after the fall of the soviet union. He neglects to mention NATOs role in installing ICBMs (offensive or defensive it makes no diff) in many of these post-soviet states. He also sees the US role in Ukraine as benign, which it certainly is not, as the abovementioned former soviet states (Poland, Estonia, Lithuania) have exhibited. NATO's failure to establish conditions whereby they could deploy on Russia's doorstep (NATO ICBMs in Ukraine) signals the limits of its ability to project power and growing awareness and resistance to same.
