Noir Alley: Detour (1945) intro by Eddie Muller shown on Mar 12, 2017 From TCM's Noir Alley (Saturdays at Midnight ET and Sunday 10am ET) hosted by the Czar of Noir, Eddie Muller.
My favorite noir right up there with 1949’s,”The Set-up”starring Robert Ryan. Two excellent examples of Film Noir at its core. In true Film Noir form the story gets worse and worse until it finally explodes at the end. Love Noir
Which of Muller's intros talks about a director who was having difficulties getting another movie made, because all they make are three types of film, one of which was a Boogeyman film, and I forget the other two...?
I love Eddie Muller commentary, really sets the tone for the films. Thanks.
You're welcome for the posting. Eddie is the Czar of Noir!
