In MSC all units are Carrier, my opinion better to have on board only one maker of unit, more faster to troubleshoot, and only one set of spare parts.... Looks like Maersk also going to have only StarCool...

@R G, during MSC charter i see only few units starcool and that units was from subcharter and not related to MSC. About Maersk under charter and original, more and more starcools on board their vessels and maybe after couple of years will be only StarCool...

They are strategically place in different areas where weight was distributed, considering they are special containers, accessibility , and power is supplied individually to every container position.

Some of control panels dont give you much room to work at componates relays contactors and control boards, would be a great help to you if they used the same manufactor all the time cause you would only need 1 set of spare parts make your job easier.

My carrier refer containerfreezer is totally out.power supply is okay.alarm is at AL52.xan you tell why the unit is not coming in.even evaporator fan motor not coming in.
Tharmoking also two different model and starcool also two different model Thermo king is mp3000 mp 4000 And starcool sem5 and sem6 You forgot one more unit it’s Mitsubishi unit Mostly this unit coming or hapag Hollyd line

Last time I had a Daikin with fluctuating voltage. It was showing around 300 VAC. Unit stopped and couldn't start. I checked all voltages also on the connector to the PC/CT board. They were ok. I replaced this board and after connecting to the power socket I got the same 299 VAC fluctuating a little. Then I changed the socked, already the 3rd time. I got 360 VAC but it was enough for the unit to start. Voltage was stll fluctuating but every day unit was running and the voltage was going towards 450 VAC still fluctuating a bit. All happened when we were crossing the Equator. I think that the ambient temp was the problem, however this unit was on deck.
Does problems in reefers occur daily?
@@kabishek5003 Yes. If you have 1400-1500 reefers the probability is higher...especially in hot areas.

depends on the temperature. once reached the setpoint it will stop running.

Tanong ko lang po ung reefer settings po ba VENTILATION is same as VENTILATION DELAY? magkaiba po kaze ung settings while booking sa maersk, hapag and CMACGM. like for example Temperature is 13C Ventilation 30CMH anu po ba ibig sabihin nyan? thank you po sa sagot in advance.. Keep Safe..
30 CMH means 30 cubic meters per hour. ito yung ventilation setting or opening ng vent ng reefer mo.

What’s does limiter active mean on a starcool unit
That’s usually because of the genset running on low speed.
If you have a limiter active, usually it is shown on a display, what kind of limitation you have, for example if you see FCTemp next to Limiter it means that the limitation is because of the FC high temperature (higher than 75 deg).

Hey mate need some help.Was getting a E205 alarm on a daikin freezer container ( evaporator fan motor failure)Changed one of the evaporator fan motor because it had a bearing issue. After hours of operation the same alarm still appears. I’ve checked the running amperage of both motors and they appear to be fine. Is there something I’m missing?
Probably the splice inside the motor, wire connector wasn’t crimped right but check the contractor first.
Hi Lecky, I noticed that freezer container has 25Amp Max Draw.. does it draw up to 25amps or less?
In a slight problem ATM my container I just bought is 25amp but my wall socket is only 20amp? Any suggestions?
19 Amps is the highest.

Advantage is maraming exposure sa High Voltage system and Refrigeration. Disadvantage is mas pagod sa pag check nf reefers and madalian ang port stay

Sir Jake good day po may plano po ako mag training po sa meridian for 5 days about reefer maintenance and troubleshooting hindi po ako eto or etr techvoc po ako graduate as a aircon tech. Ask ko lang po if ever matapos ako sa training ko na 5 days sa meridian may chance po ba ako makasampa? Tsaka if ever po ba kahit hindi eto or etr pede parin mag apply as reeferman lang on board po?
