You're capped at 700k xp from crafting. Use it at 68.2 to ding 70.
Don’t you still need to go back and atleast finish the main story campaign quest lines to finish the story and unlock all the endgame content etc ? Or does it all just unlock when you ding max lvl?

How do I go about this crafting leveling strategy? Does anyone have a guide on this?
@@damastahhgo to wowproffessions and just follow a guide then craft anything you haven’t crafted from the guide gets ya just about all the do u can get

I haven't been speed leveling. I got all my dragon glyphs, and doing most of the side quests. Currently just hit level 69 and just entering Azure Span. Loving the questing experience.

The easiest time leveling I've ever had, and it doesn't feel forced and boring.
Even in tbc and wrath I hated levelling its always been the worst bit but I've really enjoyed this expansion - plus it sounds like having an alt in this expansion won't make me want to log out because of all the duplicated chores

are used to care about this thing a lot when I was younger and in a rush as I got older, I just like to take things slow because before you know it the experience is over and done. I enjoy leveling up all my alternate characters when that no longer becomes enjoyable for me, I will probably quit while forever because if I had to be stuck on one character, the whole time I would go nuts.

I didnt even know they were increasing the level to 70. I feel like im back in TBC. Except those 10 levela took foooorever.

I see no logic behind getting to lv 70 fast and over complicating it because you are going to have to go back and redo 100% of the side quests to get the max rep grind possible in the end. So why no tjust slowly do every single quest along the way?
I just pvp leveling is simple a obstacle in my way so I just want it over with spent 20$ in wotlk on a lvling addon to optimize questing for max xp cuz I could careless
@@dayoftherope1690 that is a rather harsh stance, but yes. renown "only" gets you cosmetics and crafting recipes. there is a point to be made to start your pvp grind asap and there is also a point made to get it done quickly for more alts, because those WILL be rather powerful this time around with the new profession system.
The sidequests are all one and dones, so you never "lose" progress, as long as you complete them at ANY point between 1-25.
This was my exact mindset. Why skip it? I did every single quest in each zone that I found. It got me to 70 way before I was done with the storyline but I didn’t care because getting the rep felt good.
Some people prefer getting to max level for dungeons and raid prep. Ots a whole to each there own. I myself worked my way through every single quest and finished every achievement so far and hit 70 about halfway through the Span but I can understand people who just want to do heroics.
The crafting exp has been nerfed and capped unfortunately.

It's WoW. You can level in just a handful of hours by mindlessly questing. Guides are very much not necessary. If you really want to level fast then get the add on Azeroth auto pilot and turn your brain off for a few hours

By the way, does engineering have any cool gadgets in this expansion? And by that I mean items that might not be bis but are useful on other ways e.g. rocket boots.
Looking forward to those reviews. 90eur on top of sub with shop and semi P2W token present takes quite the nerve to ask after years of disappointment.

Fastest way to level currently with no effort is to follow the level boosters and tag the mobs urself and enjoy the xp :)

I have noticed that Dragonriding is not Account wide but Realm based.
The biggest mistake I made when leveling on the Beta was only doing the main quests.
It’s really annoying, but they didn’t make doing that enough to reach Max level. I got to level 68.
Going back and doing the older side quests was simple, but also a pain because I had to go find them and the rewards they give besides Exp where pointless. Plus the waking shore side quests give awful Exp if you’re at level 68 or 69.
So either do some side quests or run a few dungeons while doing the main campaign!
And here I am. Not leaving a zone before I get an achievement for all side storylines
@@adamniedzwiedz3495 You can always do that later, but it’s probably what I’ll do. There’s so many Biden things in these zones that the story campaign doesn’t take you near.
Yep me too. I have an "army" of alts and will have to stop and lvl them.
People actually skip side quests in WoW? I'm almost lvl 67 and am in the 2nd zone. I'm too OCD to let quests sit.

From my experience on the beta doing just the main campaign gets you to level 68. So yes I think he didn’t mean 77.5

Question: so what if I level all my characters to a early spot in dragonflight? The alt change happens once one character is through right? Do I get my army of characters ready before they start dragonflight, how does it work so I don't break the game.
Question, is there a way to move where the talking head dialogue shows up or a way to just remove it? With my ui setup it pops up directly in my bar and obnoxious.
in the edit mode, it’s got a checkbox to show it so you can move it. i threw it to the top of the screen, but even that isn’t a great spot for it

I only play arena. I want XP for leveling account wide. I play all classes in the game in area. Why do i have to go through the pain of leveling every each and single one of them each expansion, plus stupid gearing, just to be able to climb rating. Just seperate already arena from WOW, and make it be launchable from blizzard app, no gear, only cosmetics and titles.
No time gating back to basics I might be wrong but WoW might me back on the menu this xpack. Simply do leveling heroics to get gear and raid you can min max with rep for pre raid BIS getting Wrath vibes.
It’s much more simple but no. Pre Raid BiS comes from MYTHIC dungeons. The Rep grind is completely optimal because there no piece of gear from the reputation factions that is just significantly better than anything you’d find from a dungeon or anything you could craft.
@@James-kv3ll it may come from mythics, but they have a weekly lockout, so it is 8x loot per week. All the other sources, especially the rather powerful crafting is godsent to fill up any holes and gaps, when you are done with all your lockouts.
@@excaligaming2435 The most powerful crafted gear requires resources that drop from the raid.
I hope they release a new race in the future, some cool ideas and characters added in dragonflight id love to have a race of 😭

There's a profession trainer for every profession right where the boat brings you in dragonflight, you can train there

I don't understand why a leveling guide released on the day of the expansion would recommend you get a bunch of consumables. At this point, you either have them or you don't. And if you're learning about them here, then... you don't.
Tbh you still got 4h left before launch. If you have time to watch this video you might as well have time to get those consumables :)
It's a little easier to watch videos in places where you can't always log into the game, haha.

Dumb question but is there a way to tell apart from main storyline quest and side quest? Does the quest giver symbol look different or something?
yes, they do. Mainquest is a shield/emblem like symbol, while "normal" quests are still the regular "!". Also they are very well declared and visible in your questlog.
Its also in catogories, campaign and side missions
Not to mention if you are using default UI the background of the quest description when accepting the quest looks different

Remember when you could just play the game and have fun without needed 30 guides?
Is that before or after there was no indicators on the maps and quests were so vague people had read thotbott/wowhead comments just to complete a level 37 quest? No I don’t remember, I think you forgot what game this is.
Thats why WoW should not have alpha/beta. It ruins a lot of the fun sadly.
Do it without guides then. There’s no need to hurry up. Everything starts in two weeks anyway. But when someone want to be efficient it’s okay as well.

lol... just go pvp mode, do all quest you see, and you hit 70 at the at of the second zone... no reason at all for stressing it out
I take it slow, read every quest text and immerse myself into the story. I was never in any rush
How do you not go absolutely insane from how slow reading every quest is?
@@thecasualsperspective I'm a pretty fast reader and I enjoy reading the quests so it doesn't feel slow.
@@thecasualsperspective I know it sounds stupid, but when I get interested in a storyline, (Cataclysm, Harrison Jones questline in Uldum for example) I find myself racing through the objective, just so I can see what happens next in the storyline. Hope this helps.

Hitting lvl cap in 8 hrs and then so much easier for alts I don’t think adds much for game time. Lvling should be an adventure not be a mini game. Just think it will end up with people getting bored. To easy is never the answer as much as to hard is never the answer
More than 8 hours is too long, the majority of people agree that the game doesn't really start until you're max level

Am i the only one who doesnt give a fk about warmode xp and i use it for the fun. I mean its so sick that u can literally run into enemy players in the open world in an mmo. Yeah it can be annoying if u get trainwrecked by a group but that rarely happens to me. I'm not a big pvper but i tend to get a lot of solo kills in world content. It's fun the intereactions u can get unoike anywhere else in pvp with wow. U can fly off cliffs golbind glide into people, sneak attack, u can use terrain with ur tps to get away in weird ways.

What is the gearset and weapon on the pandaren at 3:01?
I think it's a shame wow is now a race to max level so we can just get back to a grind that has been progressively more boring and flavourless. It's so much easier for them to develop rotating repeated content like world quests than actual content. Here's hoping we don't end up in another world quest grind when not in dungeons end game.
Thanks for the tips, it just sucks i'll have to skip some easy quests because blizz seems to want to push political agendas in them.
