I was there Saturday afternoon and missed a lot of cool people
I ended up leaving in the afternoon and decided to drive back.. I missed some people as well, but was fun.
I gave you the MatterHackers and Printed Solid stickers. :) It was very cool meeting you. And yes, I am very socially awkward and introverted, but something about this event opened me up.

Great video! I think Matt Weber 3DReefer made the leather piece. He uses 3D Printing to create stamps that are then used in a 1 ton press to emboss the leather.
U Do It yea i noticed when i got home that the few keychains i had left, my name on the back had rubbed off. Guess cf petg isnt very sharpie friendly

That thing was huge.. It was from Maker Box
The keychain was me. I had sharpied my name on the back but it doesnt seem to stick to petg well. And yes its leather inlay. 3d printed stamp used
Awesome.. thanks for letting me know. I apologize for not remembering; I’ll blame age :). I find it amazing you can use it in a press!! Does it hold up well? Did you place the leather mid print or glue pieces?
Rons Place glued pcs. One slips inside the other. They hold up great as long as printed in pla. 1 ton press i use only needs 35% infill even. Local leather shop has a 4 ton press which i do 100% infill for their stamp requests tho.
That just amazes me.. crazy creative. One of my favorite things from MRRF.

Thanks.. its humbling for sure. I am trying to figure something out to show my appreciation; but also am not wanting to muddy up the community by getting a bunch of trolls show up that only want free stuff. Very difficult to balance that.. I am trying to figure something out though.
There was no such thing as personal anything when I was a kid, it's a different world these days.
I often think of the differences.. I grew up as a kid in the 70s and 80’s; its just so different now. The neighborhood gang (when it wasn’t a bad thing) all hanging out playing. You just don’t see the large groups of kids playing together anymore. Strange
