- Along on a mountain in Maine! I hiked Mt. Katahdin and camped in a bunker in Baxter State Park. It was a fun and challenging adventure!
When I was 8, my family moved to Maine and I lived there until I went to college. This is my first time back since 2014!

Glad to hear! Vermont is beautiful. Enjoy!
This is so inspiring ! Especially vlogging at the same time. U make it look easy. As someone who hikes every weekend, in my neighborhood. I really want to start exploring different parks. Great Job!
Been doing solo trips to Maine for 25 years. Maine is favorite place.
Wow Quincy, I really enjoyed that, thanks for taking us along! 👍🏿
I applaud you for taking up this trip by yourself. I'm too afraid to do solo trips.

Just wow!!!
Amazingly beautiful, I would not mind exploring myself.
Thank you for taking us on this journey with you! Rhode Island is one of my favorite states to visit and you weren't far from there. Great vlog! 😊
Your videos are so relaxing!!!!!!
This was a phenomenal video. I think the best one ever. Being a little afraid of heights, I was nervous about you on the top of the peak, but the editing and content made me want to shoot up from Georgia with my little camper. Thanks for sharing. You are awesome!
Thanks for the kind words! It definitely was a bit nerve racking being up there!
Such beautiful countryside, never seen Maine before. I've also never seen a warning sign for Moose, lol. Thanks for sharing this with us, looks like you had a fun, fun trip 🏕❤✌
What a beautiful thing! Thank you! And congratulations on the climb.
Omg it's so peaceful 😻✌️😁
Amazing my knee’s buckled a couple times looking. #awesome
Great job on this video, especially on the technical side. Those views are stellar. I prolly would’ve fainted being that high up 😂
amazing hike Quincy Jay ,
I watched this same day boo, but I finally posted my comment. This adventure was great. I loved seeing your hiking journey :D I will keep it short today :P
So cool! Loved it!
Thanks! 🙏🏽
I vacationed in Maine alot throughout the years. I envy you taking this trip. I hope you had a great time 💚 I love the hike above the treeline. I bet you enjoyed the views.
Really enjoyed watching this, the scenery is amazing. I’m going skydiving for the first time next week and hearing your words towards the end motivated me even more to go out there and well…just do it.
Thanks for sharing.
Lovely.. fantastic filming !!

Glad you made this trip and vid. The injury of the teens is maybe a reason have at least one person go with you. Congrats on your adventure and courage
Awesome adventure. U are one brave soldier. Thanks 4 sharing.
So Wimbledon is finished and you're back, thanks from Cairns Australia
beautiful scenery, beautifully shot .. wow wow amazing !!
Thanks! 🙏🏽❤️
Really good video. Felt like in some scenes I was watching a nature documentary! Editing is good 🔥
I love Maine used to visit Ogunquit way before you were born. Beautiful state.
This video was so fun to watch, you are so brave, I could not do it, I will be afraid to get lost or running into a wild animal. But I do love the fact that it looks fun and majestic scenery.
Enjoyed the vlog
The views. Incredible. Look at Nature do her thang.
Man this was truly amazing! 👏👏👏I loved it u guess I'm going to have to visit Maine! Thankyou so much for sharing. One thing though. I eat seafood but not alot of it so I hope they have other great choices to choose from. This is breath taking. Thankyou so much for sharing your journey ❤.
what a beautiful trip. you gave me the courage to travel alone
It’s well worth it! Enjoy 👍🏽
When you teased this was coming, I was very anxious to see it having seen your other fantastic travel videos. Absolutely awesome - you shoot and sequence well. I really appreciate the work and quality of your videos. You have obviously have no fear of heights lol - I was clinging to my chair! I look forward to your next adventure
Thanks for the nice words! I’m not afraid of heights but definitely was a little shaky up there!
Breathtaking views, will add maine to list of states to visit. As I get older im finding I enjoy solo trips.
Quincy, I follow your youtube channel for a while. This video is just beautiful! Keep making and sharing your videos :) greetz from Amsterdam.
Thanks for the nice words!
Wow. Loved this inspiring hike. Thanks for sharing it! I never once saw the actual trail on camera.?? And, I'm absolutely sure I would still be wedged between some of those boulders weeks later.
There’s a couple parts where I show the trail, but yes it’s not so distinguishable. Some of the blue rectangle markings in trees or rocks also mark the trail. Thanks for watching!
I used to be a regular visitor in Maine, both coastal and interior Maine. It has been many years since I have been back. I think this video is lighting a fire under me. Thanks Quincy.
Get back up there! And thanks!
Hi Quincy 😃
Just want to compliment you on editing this video. It takes a lot of effort, time and patience to edit a video like this one. But once again; you did a great job 💯👌🏼👊🏼 The surroundings were beautiful and the scenery was magnificent. Out of this world. Really stunning! It's an excellent way to come to yourself with lot's of zen moments that bring you closer to yourself and enjoy the quality of life🙏🏼 And your music choice was totally on point 🎯
Keep surprising us and bring us along on your (new) experiences and let us enjoy your (new) encounters. Enjoy the city vibes again and have a great weekend. Don't get too naughty 😜
Greetz from Amsterdam 🌷
This is your best video yet and a beautiful piece of cinematography. Would you ever make a video on the hiking/camping/ trolling /road-tripping 101?..again this was breath taking..made me emotional watching this. I felt like I was there definitely on my bucket list now.
That’s a good idea. Thanks for the kind words. I definitely enjoy making content like this, but not sure how interested my “audience” is in nature/outdoor videos. Will continue though, as it is one of my interests. I’ll keep in mind your idea!
I've never had a lobster roll but i definitely want to try one now. I see why my friends like hiking, the views are stunning. I hope I'm able to do a solo trip one day, i used to travel with my cousin but i really want to do a solo "find yourself" kind of trip. Great video!
Great trip! I don't think I've ever seen ur behind hehe. Glad u didn't fall or anything. I'm heading to Ukiah CA on a road trip end of this month. U got me excited. Love the video 📹
omg this reminds me of another CZcamsr, Kraig Adams!!!! I didn't expect this type of content from you Quincy! but I'm so glad you did it!!!
Kraig is one of my favs! This video was definitely partially inspired by him. Thanks for watching!
That wonderful 😁
Nice man
I discovered your channel tonight and this content was a pleasant surprise as I want to visit Maine and maybe get a little cabin there. I used to fly into Brunswick off and on in the Navy but only for overnight stays so I never got to see the state. I've got a tiny place in Florida and would go up for the summer. Nicely done!
Thanks for the nice words! I definitely recommend a visit at least!
a true new Englander. No bottom fishing !!! Aww why not ? I love my bottom fishing and Fluking.
What a beautiful state! What a BONEHEADED thing to do by yourself Quincy! I was so nervous watching the 2nd half of this!! Please take someone with you next time !! I hope your mom gave you an earful! 😮
My mom was worried, but I’ve hiked much more dangerous hikes alone. I signed in at the bottom of the trail with the ranger and I had hiked this trail 10 years ago. There were others in the trail too - wasn’t too dangerous for an experienced hiker!
@@quincyjayi just kept thinking about that James Franco movie when he got trapped on that rock! Just please..its not worth the risk! But again an incredibly beautiful state, i had no idea and how tf you look so good at 5 am! 😅. Come visit us in vegas we have great hiking too!
"The hills are alive.. ....with the sound of music..."
You went HIKING hiking lol. This looks incredibly dangerous, but the views are breathtaking. Glad you had a safe trip 😃
Looks much more scary on video, but it’s definitely a mentally trying! Thanks 🙏🏽
Love Maine and loved this video! Gotta admit, I was a little nervous on your behalf as you filmed and walked along the crest of the mountains. But kept telling myself, "Don't worry, Quincy wouldn't have posted this if he fell down the ravine...." :)
😂😂 I’m all good! Thanks for tuning in 🙏🏽
💙💙
Cool
My favorite vacation spot is Ogunquit. Many Memorial Day weekends I've stayed at the Inn at 2 Village Square. Park the car in their parking lot and walk everywhere around town. I miss it so much.
Just have a peaceful mind be safe out there
Good to see your Vlogs are getting longer..I was freaking out when you were sitting on the edge. I’m afraid of heights, that’s why 🤣🤣🤣
😂😂 I was a bit nervous myself
My ex was from Maine....it's a beautiful state with great people. His family lived inland in a small town called Buckfield. I miss going there after my ex and I broke up. If I could stand the winters after 40 yrs in Fla, I'd love to live there....wish I could afford a place there for the summers.
I did a 17 day backpacking trip through Maine when I was 16 that ended with climbing Mt. Katahdin. Such great memories!
Wow, I can’t imagine finishing Katahdin after 17 days backpacking. Sounds challenging but incredible!
@@quincyjay There were definitely points when I was like "Ya know, I think im satisfied right here. The view is great from right where we are and we can turn around now" haha
Love Maine! Would love to compare best lobster roll places with you. Headed up in a few weeks myself. Admire your vlogs on traveling alone. Use to do that all the time myself. Glad you enjoy sharing your time with us. Inspiring!
❤️❤️❤️
💀💀💀 lucky bride
Haha do you know the reference??
Next time you should bring along a friend to help you out with the camera work. I'm sure you hiked more miles that was shown on that sign post. But you did a great job filming Mr. Quincy. Good job!
13 round trip! Not bad. Thanks
Never been to Maine but I'm definitely putting that on the " shit to do in the summer" list for sure.
I recommend it!
Que buena salida , te felicito , que belleza de naturaleza
🙏🏻🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thank you for all the effort you put into creating these video's/contents, I am pretty sure it takes so much work and time.I loved every bit of it.The scenes are beautiful, tranquil and so refreshing just to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and all it's drama. We all need that get away just to enjoy nature alone to recharge the batteries.
#Once again thank you for sharing these contents with us and motivating us to do things we all so comfortable being in a comfort zone.
Having lunch on the top of the world. 🥰
You are Amazing!
Superhero Like Even!
Hey Quincy Jay I’m very happy you took the trip to go to Maine and enjoy yourself and eating food aswell 🙂 an I hope that cookie was delicious before you go to bed. And you look handsome as always
bravo! congrats!! has anyone ever call you "Billy goat"?!
mebbe next time take along a friend for companionship and security?
in any case, wishing you many more happy trails, QJ!! 👍🏼👍🏼😊
And THAT would be Mt. Katahdin. I've done that hike myself. Nearly kicked my but! Great job BRO!
Nice! Definitely an amazing hike, something to be proud of 👏🏽🙌🏽
@@quincyjay and to think I did it at 38 and wasnt the healthiest! That started my journey!
You remind me of my adventures when I was your age. Some of the best times of my life. But I also would have loved to have been there with you. As a Mainer I’m sure you have a different perspective than an out of towner. Also, most lobster rolls these days are small. I prefer mine with butter than mayo.
quncy, Like,you created great editing-take care, ))
Thanks you too!
Awesome 🤩🌈😎💖
Call me a WIMP but you're scaring me...Lol Other than that the views are SPECTACULAR!!! Thoroughly enjoying your solo adventures. You are good at what yu do....continue doing it.
I wouldn't dare do the mountain climb but Iv had some experience with this sort of a thing.
Wtf...i missed you all week. Didn't know you were out and about.
Would have been a great trip to take with a dog, but unfortunately... A solo trip really is a good thing, especially for a young guy. Allows you to connect with your inner self and figure stuff out. Being constantly surrounded by other people can silence the inner self. Very cool.
I wish Baxter State Park allowed pets in! Unfortunately they don’t, for various reasons.
Hero's tunnel. You drove by my house a few miles back. 😍
Ahh love that tunnel!
