Honda Civic VSA Light Stays On-EASY Fix

I was having a problem with my 8th gen Civic when it was cold outside and I pushed my brakes really hard. The VSA light was staying on. I found a simple solution to this problem, so I figured that I would make a video to show you how to fix this problem. It's more of a temporary fix than a permanent one, but all that it involves is shutting off your car, and starting it up again. This will cause the VSA system to reset and start working properly again!

I have a 2011 Civic with the triangle 🔺️ light comes on when i press the button.
The ABS or VSA light dosent illuminate only befor i start it. Once started all warning lights go out. (thats good to a point).
My ABS works fine but the VSA ive never owned a car with it so i have no idea what its ment to do.
Any help would be appreciated.

You can also turn the car off, and then never start it again. Or you can blink your eyes 19 times while pressing up volume on your radio, with key on engine off.

So when ours come on. 2009 crv the shifter wouldn't come out of park. Simply turning the car off and on isn't a fix.

I have the same problem with my 08 si and I did what you did. And the VSA still pops up when I am driving my car. Sorry, but this is not how you fix it.

+Mai Chee Vang - Have read topping up brake fluid level from min to full helps. Otherwise on the brake pedal inside car there is a switch- replace it. You are in any danger with this coming on, only car will not have stability safety feature.

So I just bought the civic si 2007. And when I press the vsa button triangle shows on dash so what that means is it working or is it off?

when you turn it OFF, the triangle dash light shows. BTW, if you turn VSA off, it will return to ON status when you restart the car after the next time you turn the car's engine off.

Nice fixes it for me till I hit 45 mph ^.^ once I do it comes back on took to dealer and they couldn't get it to come back on soon as I left the king lot it was back """"""VSA Modulator for 2009 Honda CIVIC SEDAN""""" got this for 899 and fixed my issue hope this helps good luck all

This acts as if disconnecting the battery, so it clears codes as if. This isn't any kind of a real fix. Now, if one of the connections there is bad, you really had a huge issue happen. Those connections are beefy! So, it's not likely the culprit. peace
