Have a 2017 Escape Titanium, slightly difference dash with Start/Stop disable button in different location. I followed your idea with zip tie and it seems to work. Thank you.

It worked on my 2017 escape. But after a year it won’t go back to its original setting. I removed the plastic ziptie and it’s permanently disabled.
On Ford Kuga(Escape) 2018 this dose not work, resets after turning engine off
