Great review mate. Just bought the exact car in Australia and loving it so far (only 2 days in!). Blue passione on tan/black two tone, interior rolling on those brilliant 21's. The colour is especially amazing, sparkles like a sapphire in the sun. Wasn't sure I'd take to the V8 twin turbos vs natural aspirated 5th gen but Maserati managed to make it sound and feel great like only Masi can! Electronics are 10x better in this gen. Would love to see another update on your thoughts and experience so far. 👍🏻
I try this car before, the interior in beyond Porsche’s quality.

Hi Dyllon, great content as always. The previous generation Quattroporte was a real looker but an ergononomic disaster equivalent to a bad LSD trip..... The new one hasn't grown on me despite that fantastic engine... The far too many Chrysler 300 bits leaves alot to be desired.. And then there is the quality... As a used buy it really is a worthwhile purchase.
I'm a big fan of the Gran Turismo's looks, it's easily one of the most beautiful cars ever designed.. Overall would I consider owning a Maserati? Absolutely but as a used purchase only...
I'm thinking of doing exactly what you are suggesting. A 2014 Quattroporte GTS. Are there any resources anywhere where I can do some more research on this other than just trying to scrape up resources myself? Perhaps some people who own or have owned these cars used? I wish to know what kind of maintenance I can expect, and what the reliability is like with the GTS version. The turbo V6 engine is shared by the Maserati Ghibli, and I know that engine from what I've heard, seems to have some issues. Any help on further research is greatly appreciated.
@@ironman98 I gave you some info earlier being a owner of a 2015 Quattroporte GTS myself. How did you go man? I think theres alot of misconception about the car as its 95% Maserati/Ferrari built.
@@whispercars306 Apologies if I don't recall us talking earlier. But yeah you're right, I think there are a few misconceptions because it is an Italian car. Although the maintenance costs worry me a little bit. That's why I'd rather not have the car in the shop. I would rather be driving it. I would be using it as a daily, and although I do have a decent amount of Maserati dealerships around me, I would still rather not have issues with it as much as possible. Am I expecting Toyota or Nissan reliability? No, not really but still. I think I need to look into it a bit more on that side of things. Audi S7 and RS7 along with the Mercedes E63 AMG are still on my radar.

I used to own a bmw m3 e92 and mercedes in the past. I just recently got the 2015 Maserati QP GTS. I think it is just a much more special car. The exhaust note is to die for. The twin turbo ferrari v8 could easily be ecu tuned to 600hp when the car is out of warranty.
Not gonna lie, that'd make a decent high school car for me at the moment 😉

Hey Joseph, I highly recommend buying used. It's definitely worth it. If you get the chance, check out a program called Exotic Car Hacks. They teach you how to buy and own exotics with breaking even or even making money on them. Great program and I look forward to getting my first exotic later this year. It's worthwhile even if you have the money to buy new. Just being smart.
This is a 2018? Helpful if you mention what year you are reviewing. There are quite a few changes between the 2018 and 2019 models. This is a recently posted video, many will assume it's for the current model
