A custom OS is usually an Optimised version of Windows with minimal background Processes, Reduced latency and will help improve FPS and performance on Minecraft. In this video I put these and various Linux distros that I like in a tier list! - Which will rank the highest? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
If you are always looking for a good OS like I am then I think making it yourself might be the best option which I'm going to be making a video on soon, however these options are SOLID and will give you a really good FPS boost due to how lightweight and minimal they are making them great for Gaming on a Low-End PC
As always you are welcome to experiment with these operating systems on another drive or partition but MAKE SURE TO BACKUP YOUR DATA as installing any of these will wipe your drive!

on archlinux, you did not install drivers, so It was running off of a default driver and yeah, garbage performance, if you installed drivers, it would get at least 50 fps
Yeah he did mention he didnt really set it up properly.
for the pop os cursor glitch, just alt+tab while in fullscreen and alt+tab back if ur on a desktop environment, or just switch workspaces if ur on a tiling window manager.
one more thing you missed to mention that pop os even has a dedicated nvidia iso

You don't need the internet at all for the driver if you are going to change the operating system; (command prompt run as administrator) dism /online /export-driver /destination: "The address of the folder where you want to back up the drivers" If you keep this in a backup Usb, you will always have a program-free driver backup that you can always access, you can even shoot a video directly about it, here is a video idea for you. I like your videos mate.

interesting, and how do we load the drivers? is it during the setup/installation boot or after windows finished install

i have dualboot hdd 1tb with windows 11 (technix os) and main drive ssd 256gb with ubuntu lunar lobster .Good tier list i would probably put ubuntu in B tier

To optimize Windows OSes like Tiny11 more, you have to debloat it and reduce background processes somehow by your own, and then delete all the unnecessary files.
At that point you could just debloat regular Win11 though.
Seems a lot of work for a custom OS but I will be showing how to make your own OS soon!
got a 2020 laptop starting to stutter running games (Home work laptop) Can game but i feel lower frames shall i download reviOS? If it got: Steam, google chrome, and stuff so my mother can work and i can game?

20:01 I used Windows 8.1 as main OS for 4 years , I didint use it in a touch screen but it was snappy , fast, like somehow windows 7 , but lately i upgraded to Windows 10 because of security , Many apps and games started dropping support for it. I still do have windows 7 on my other laptops (no option aside it) , Windows 8.1 and 7 or 10 LTSC are the best windows versions , without tweaking!!

I went back to LTSC since I messed up my Windows 11 install quite badly, I do miss the Windows 11 UI but Windows 10 LTSC has been solid
@@NotroDan i did use revi os 11 but i got a really annoying glitch that my screen kept flickering and no matter if i restarted my pc it would still do it and i switched back to windows 10 and have had no problems so yeah probably not going to use windows 11 any time soon as i have a low end pc

same here but there are a lot of bugs which i have such as the brightness levels not working so i had to switch back to orignal windows
8:39 yeah i have this bug where i cant turn off windows defender its always on so i cant run some apps cuz windows defender deletes them
and i dont like how you need to restart your pc every time you want to turn off or on windows defender
My tier list:
S: Any Linux Distrubution that is not bloated (manjaro,arch,debian), Windows 10 LTSC (2000 fps max on 1.8)
A: Ghost Spectre,Windows8.1 (1600 max on 1.8)
B: tiny11 (1200 max on 1.8)
C: Used Windows (max 300 on 1.8 , but i tested only on i5 4th gen)
F: ubuntu (max 1200 fps, but feels like shi™ - from a arch user)

Bruh, I have installed Ghost Spectre 11 Superlite without Windows Defender and it doesn't have any of those apps from the start menu.

So basically i try install atlas os 22H2(the newest ver) but my pc can’t handle it.I think my pc can only use lower lite os ver.
What should i choose?
My Spec:I3-10100,UHD 630(Onboard Gpu),Ram 4GB,HDD 1TB.
(Btw only for gaming,no other job)

With Arch when you know what you are doing you can install Arch in 20 minutes without any scripts.

And on top of that Archinstall is broken on the latest April ISO.
@@IUSAI you don't need the ISO just the boot strap tar file, you can use Debian or any other distro to install Arch.

@@NotroDan It's not hard, you just need a laptop, that's atleast a century old, some bags of chips and hands that type faster than the speed of light xD. No but it really isn't that hard, as long as you follow the arch wiki you won't face any big issues.

Technically speaking yes, but to activate AtlasOS for example, you need a license or activate it using ✨Magic✨
I used atlas for like one uears but at the latest update my speaker was like broke idk how to says but my logitech speaker has stopped working i installed all driver but don't work so me personally i prefer atlas but i'm using ghost specter

on ubuntu, you have 2 options, 1 for everything preinstalled and 1 for do it yourself, you obviously picked option 1.

Yes its pretty faster than revi os but i prefer revi os, butttttttt atlas os is even better than revi os

for me i use atlas os on my 2 cores cpu , 4 GB ram (512Mb vram )pc and i get around 70FPS using fabric soduim

I am running windows 11 LTSC IoT it's amazing and faster than 11 pro by a good percentage
